Ideas are really invaluable provided things are put into practice. This is what everyone expects from the good governance.

I believe the Ven. Samitha Thero was associated with the LSSP in his earlier years of politics. He has done Buddhism a great positive deed
by fearlessly coming forward to speak against religious bigotry and
hatred both of which have tainted the fair name of this country in recent months. That is the very essence of Compassion, Tolerance and Love to others around you preached by Gauthama the Buddha.

If he was the former MP from the Galle District then I have had the pleasure of meeting and speaking to him. He also speaks fairly reasonable English as well – although I spoke to him in Sinhala.

Ven.Samitha Thero, a True Buddhist, a True Sinhala Buddhist, ALL Sri Lankans should be proud of. This is what Lord Buddha’s preaching is all all about.

This is what we want to see from our Sangha.

This comment doesn’t serve the very purpose of the Rally! Bringing hatred will create more hatred and downfall! Be positive!

We suffered 30 years and now enjoying the freedom in free Lanka
We live for a very short period in this world. Love your friends , neighbours, relations your county men and the world.
Don´t hate, don´t be jelousy to others , don´t kill others from words.

Every body has a right to live , where he was born , either Tamil , muslim christian or Africans. We are all are Srilankens love to each other.
Don´t Spread out hatism .Some Budhists monks , who are not practising the real budhism , eat, .. eat.. from poor peoples Dane until you get fed up from food , who are nothing in brain except hate , hate ,and jelousy are not Sri lanken and Budhists. They came from the Hell to take innocent youths to hell. Beware of these Monks. Your life is yours don´t give room to hate and intolerance spreading fat monks to destoy your lifethen your county.
Think about The brave soldiers who offered their lives in the war to protect the country for your future, don´t dissapoint these brave soldiers and enjoy the freedom they gave you in a gold plate. Don´t make sri lanka again a battle field with these hate spreading monks , They do nothing , they don´t practising real budhism , they don´t practising any usefull activities. They are not the heros , only the brave soldiers who offered their lives in the war are the real heroes and you who protect this freedom also will be Heros.

Follow the path of wen Samithe Thera , they will show you the real path.
Proud of these innocent and brave Budhist Monks who do usefull service to the society.

Ven Monk I salute you Holiness. There is enough happiness and peace in the world we don’t know how to get it. It is very easy if we have a few more monks like him. I see the pain in his face that is what Lord Buddha felt. There was a monk in Naga Deepa in Jaffna he was well respected by all the people Tamils Muslims Christians everyone. They called him “Periya swamy” – means Greate Swamy or Saint He passed away though
