Our War Hero Field Marshal Sarath Fonseka is more suitable to be a member of Parliament.

Anyone can oppose or argue but final decision has been concluded by Mr. Ranil Wickramasinghe.

Now Gotabaya’s heart is trembling and shivering.

Good Luck Mr. Sarath Fonseka….Our War Hero.

    Field Marshal Sarath Fonseka

RE: Sarath Fonseka Back In Parliament

    Congratulations.

The Country needs you in Parliament. There are too many idiots who need to be reformed. Just remind them of what happened to Maha Mootal Velupillai Prabakaran, and that you will make them Work, yes Work.

Sarath Fonseka is a person who acts and speaks direct of his conscience, inappropriate for political quest, may be politically immature as well.
But all the hardships he faced for acting by conscience for us to live in peace, and then setting off the fight for change from autocratic rule in 2010, are very much unwarranted. A true brave soldier who has no any personal ambitions than his country

When will the foolish gullible realize this?

Is it the political and physical beginning of the end of the Medamulana Rajapakse family of avaricious thieves? Fonseka is a vengeful person whose sole aim in his political life is to settle scores with the Rajapakses.

So whatever SF speaks in Parliament will be on record which is good for cleaner politics.

On the other hand whatever MaRa Bros & Co speak from Vihares, Temples / Devalues will not be recorded in any official record.

The need of the hour in thought and action is resoluteness. Capacity for timelines not easy for many to map out or accomplish. In any assignment it is the man that counts.

No less than 18 high profile cases are ready for the next act of indictment to be served. Let the framing be done by the relevant institution. Let SF get the necessary Subjects, Functions and Institutions listed in his Ministry. Then he can drive the jitters into the officials to move along to cleanse corruption.

The Regime becomes politically secure when the best known names are drawn in dust.

I’m sure some one in the Wijedasa Rajapakse’s camp will challenge, if SF is appointed through the UNP National List to the Parliament, because the law does not permit such an appointment.

Yet, I feel at this juncture, the country needs SF in the control room. Probably Prime Minister RW is confident that he can have any challenge of SF’s appointment ignored.

The coming elections demand this subtle move to counteract known forces. Will not any amendment or Bill make it legal?

Is it not a fact that SF had unsuccessfully contested for a seat at the recently conducted elections?
If so when SF is appointed via the UNP”s National List, then is the stand taken by the CJ that appointment of a defeated candidate to parliament is not a National Issue correct?
Let us pause until the Minister for Justice makes his move.

wijedasa himself is on a sticky wicket and hanging on by a thread.he would not like to make ranil furious, after all he is the leader of the UNP and has made the decision. If wijedasa plays up then it can be construed as a challenge to his authority by ranil and wijedasa won’t risk it.So i don’t think there will be a legal impediment to SF continuing in parliament, unless wijedasa is sacked,or demoted by ranil in the future and wants to hit back at him.If he indeed tries to sabotage ranil’s choice he is indeed a modaya, but he does not look like one to me,probably of south indian ancestry, not north where the modayas are.

This is man who defeated the war with the help and enormous support of Air Force and Navy.

Gota and Mahinda foolishly boasting about the war.

Both of them have not not been in battle field, even Yositha.
Three of them were in Colombo with heavy security during the war period.
    Foolish Sinhalese are completely blind.

We salute our War Hero Field Marshal Sarath Fonseka.

“Field Marshal Sarath Fonseka will enter Parliament through the UNP back door.”

what does it matter whether you enter through the back door or front door. Both give the more or less same amount of pleasure.main thing is to enter no.

If people believe that Sarath Fonseka will resurrect Yahapalanaya from Yamapalanaya, they better start thinking again.

If you line up our Ministers and deputies and all other members of parliament for a photo-shoot, I assure you that you will be staring at a veritable rogues gallery. Sarath Fonseka who has joined this line up will not be out of place either. He has an extensive collection of skeletons in his cupboard. Don’t expect anything to happen from the ordinary by this bunch of crims.

I won’t be surprised if SF will continue to draw his handsome FM pension while receiving the MP stipend and expense accounts. In this thrice blessed country anything and everything illegal is possible.

Rajash, Kumar R and Rajash K

Why are you guys silent on this very important development?

Are you all scared of Sarath Fonseka that he will harm you if make comments about him. No… No… No…. he is not a bad person like that.

Sarath was my Rajapakse’s man- a trusted friend of Gota and helped him to finish off the war. He is the hero and my Rajapakse’s old cocktail of the Mahinda Chinthanaya failed to recognise his heroism.

I my draft revision of Mahinha Chinthanaya, I have given the due place to the war hero like Sarath. If he can do wonders in the war, he can make inroads in the parliament too.

Give your support my buddies. Don’t be scared. You guys are me and I am you guys. Be bold.

Is there any doubt that the most benefited from the LTTE are the Rajapaksas? Rajapaksas paid LTTE money to boycott the election to let Mahinda win. Prabaharan praised Mahinda in his Martyrs’ Day speech. Karuna joined Mahinda. Pillaiyan joined Mahinda. Rajapaksas won the war with the help (and backstabbing) of others. Rajapaksas gots 100s of kilos of gold and millions of dollars and euros of money. KP joined Mahinda. Then, Rajapaksas won the next election on the defeat of LTTE. Showing LTTE, Yoshitha was enrolled in the Navy and was sent to Europe for ‘higher studies’ on peoples money. Showing LTTE, the defence budget was jacked up with a hefty commission to Rajapaksas. Then, development plans were ‘rolled out’ and Rajapaksas got 15% plus commission. Showing LTTE, the Constitution was modified. Rajapaksas controlled well over 70% of the national budget.

      Well, do you want more>

Congratulations FM, timely arrival to political field!!, our Mother land needs you, you have done your job as military man, now your role as a politician, genuine and straight forward politician to teach real politics to currupt and thugs in the parliment. We have high hope you will fulfill our expectations. Thank you Ranil giving SF a chance.

      Ahmed,

Don’t get too excited. It is irrefutable and on public record, SF stated that Sri Lanka belongs to the Sinhalese. Others can live only if the Sinhalese allow them. You are one of the others.

    Keith Noyahr
    Lasantha Wickramatunge
Both cases will now be covered up; hero to zero by a vainglorious harsh man who is abusive.
Who’ll make money now like his one time son in law and others? He joined because he knows no one gave a crap about his party. Only way he can grab power is by joining UNP. He hates everyone. He loves no one but his ego. No Field Marshal has ever stooped to low politics before this. He is out to get revenge on Rajapakses. He’ll cover up his role in those attacks. How did the son in law have 80 million rupees? BMW?

UNP has no shame because they insulted him in 2008 – 2009. This is a desperate deal by Ranil and a desperate attempt by a one time true war hero to grab the spotlight after getting humiliated at the last general election

    The vagaries of politics!

    Nagananda Kodituwakku says this:

” Yet, I feel at this juncture, the country needs SF in the control room.”

Yes, the very Nagananda Kodituwakku who has challenged the appointment of defeated candidates to parliament, via the “National List”, says that.

However, this appointment is essentially a good one, even if it defies the rules of simple logic. Sarath Fonseka may make the most terrible mistakes, but still he’s on the right side.

He sillily contested from his own party, and nobody was going to vote for that party if it competed for votes with the UNP, which was the party supported, in reality, by even Maithripala Sirisena. If his appointment as an M.P. can be made to stand, it’ll be good for the country as a whole.

However, nobody ought to go so far to make it stand, as to amend the Constitution of the Country. We ought to aim at making the Constitution something time-less. This appointment is necessary only to overcome a temporary problem. Let it be appealed against, by anybody who dares do so. The appellant is going to face the opprobrium of the people.

There are no legal justifications for some things, and yet they are the right thing to do! I’m an amateur; I’m no Dayan Jayatilleke! But this for me is “realpolitick”!
