In an unprecedented move flight stewardess Nithya Senanaya Samaranayaka, who was unable to describe the exact location where she worked to the Jayaratne/Weliamuna inquiry, except the fact that it was some location in the Temple Trees, was named as the assistant to Secretary Lanka Kamalgoda of the FAU.

A group of cabin crew members of the Flight Attendants Union bulldozed their way at the Annual General Meeting held last December and assumed power without being elected.

The Jayaratne/Weliamuna investigative report into Sri Lankan Airlines named Nithya Senanaya Samaranayaka as the Flight Stewardess who was a paid employee released from Sri Lankan Airlines to work for Namal Rajapaksa.

She was released after a request was made from the then Presidential Secretary Lalith Weeratunga.

Nithya Senanaya Samaranayaka was paid approximately Rs. 158,000 per month by both SriLankan Airline and the Presidential Secretariat.

The Jayaratne/Weliamuna report highlighted that she had been paid by the airline including allowances for cabin work although there is no explanation of what services she provided.

She had been over paid more than 4.2 million rupees in total. However she is still to reimburse these monies despite the Jayaratne / Weliamuna report highlighting that she does so.

Hope she got some other benefits from Temple Trees in addition to Rs 158,000 per month.

If she was flying the average monuments would have been in excess of Rs 500,000 per month including flying allowances.

Why cant the authorities (law and order) direct interview Maharaja and get more information from him directly ?

What the hell the bugger had been doing abusing the funds of tax payers giving brothel facilities to his own babaric sons.

These are no away exemplary to have let it go.

Just to have current president s son sat next to him in the last UN sessions is being discussed, but MR s abuses of all high profile are not being discussed even today, letting the most abusive man to utter his loads of words in temple premises of his choice – all is being allowed. What a world we havebeen mingling now.

I think lanken Jounrnos are still suffering from fears against Rajapakshes.

That can be the reason why they have failed to interview them face to face. And I really dont think these men – Rajaakshe offpsrings are round the clock busy either since they sit today on the opposition side. So why not one single Journo failed to interview them.

And Duminda Silva issues are not year clear – we speak about freedom for speech and freedom for press, I believe, there are censoring of issues are still there.

I dont get to read anything related to Duminda Silva and his so called head injury which costed tax payers millions of their funds.

And the accuracy of the medical reports, then the state medical professionals went on saying that Duminda s injury is not curable… etc.
Then again there were so many paradoxal thoughts and all was kept hidden by using state and public media. All these were all lies.
These issues were patrongaged by Mr Mademlulana -deliberately.

All these should be brought before teh nation .. what was truth IN TERMS of Duminda Silva.
Why then unable to utter a single word but now, he could remind almost every bits related to the murder incident. ::: why why why… journos in lanken romaing should bring all these to the nation.. they are their to do the job

NO doubt with her consent, as such it can not amount to sexual exploitation.

We all know that Sri Lankan airlines is a play thing for Sri Lankan politicians of every colour. Even to the extent of providing other services to politicians and their children and presidential brothers-in-law. This kind of game play is tolerable if it was played at the politicians expense. However the joke is on the average Sri Lankan tax payer. The politicians are having fun at our expense.

It is time a true politician or a political party is born who have the guts to once and for all scrap white elephants such as Sri Lankan airlines.

This bugger Lalith Weeratunga,(Kotta) former secretary or actually minion of Percy Mahendra ( Mahinda) Rajapakaya has been the silent source of all evil it seems. A so called officer of the Sri Lanka Administrative Service who by training is expected to observe administrative regulations and financial regulations , the goof has flouted every regulation. This is what happens when low breeds gets high posts.

He even ordered for his personal use on government funds a Volvo SUV worth 300,000 US dollars. He would have most probably taken this vehicle when he was kicked out of office on 08 January 2015.He also made millions of dollars as as Chairman of the Telecommunication Ragulatory Commission.Bloody crooks should be jailed.

[Nithya Senanaya Samaranayaka was paid approximately Rs. 158,000 per month]

She should have been doing a superb job to be paid this money.

[There is no explanation of what services she provided.]
You don’t expect her to give out her trade secrets.

Not only these cabin crew members went for perks and big bucks but some of the management staff too went sucking up to many ruling family members and brothers for same perks promotions which they still enjoy on tax payers money

It seems the stench from the previous regime continues in the Maithripala/Ranil regime. No one is still arrested, or held accountable for the countless crimes, murders, corruption, journalists killed or missing, thuggery, racist attacks, and the long list of crimes that were committed during the previous regime.

All are crooks, and experts at lying to the Sri Lankan people. Each one seems to be scratching the other’s backs, and covering up for their crimes. There is no chance we can be another Singapore with this kind of mentality. Our politicians are an embarrassment and a huge disappointment. How can be we a prosperous nation having one crooked regime after another. MR’s sons seem to have abused their powers, and are getting away with it, even murder.

Is there any pie the Rajapakses did not poke their stinking fingers into. Next we’ll hear the Civil Service peons had to pay a bribe to the Rajapakses to get their jobs.

Sorry Manel, You may be daydreaming thinking that S/L will be another singapore.
We have a president who is extremely illiterate, has no clue what presidents duties
are, he doesn’t know what nepotism means and he says he took his son to UN because
of his love and devotion to his son as a parent. His main job is lieing to the
people and trying to build up the SLFP party. On the other hand we have Ranil who is
backboneless,he may be honest, as opposition leader during the last parliament,
he did’nt show any objections to Rajapakse’s dismal behaviour as president. He is
still the same and Sirisena gets away with all his dirty tricks.Definitely not a Sinapore, We will be heading more towards a Zimbabwe

DBSjeyaraj.com has on 23-01-16 connected up Namal with MS in some
undisclosed matters and no one should be expecting these tit-bits in CT
      will ever over-ride MS Master-plans!
Presidents and their children make interesting news, nevertheless.

What a farce. Where is the justice system and fairness .

How long can this charade be allowed to go on. This is very similar
to what went on with the gaddafis and sadam husseins offspring.

The duties performed by this individual is obvious but what the outcome of current situation is very important for the benefit and moral of the rest of the staff in the airline.
