      Natasha Perera,
How is an utterly implicating piece of information about fake Good Governance Missionary Sujeewa S considered “Mud”? Rather, it is a fact that confirms something people always suspected. Sujeewa S is as corrupt as they come.
      Cheers!
PS: BTW Natasha Perera, How is Sujeewa’s duty-free car permit doing? Would love to know. Not least about his emergency banana supply as well. Please give our regards to his big-mouthed, London based bro, who was caught on video in Colombo. Abusing a fellow Sri Lankan in racist filth.

A big thank you to Team CT for exposing government culprits. You are doing a great service to the country similar to what we expect from national newspapers.
        .
Look at the double acting of UNP Ministers. They all have benefitted from Bond Money, no doubt. That is why even normally vociferous UNP Ministers keep quiet on Ranil’s Bond Scam.
        .
I heard that Ranill might appear before the Bond Commission on Monday. Well, this doesn’t sit well with me. Ranil Wickremasinghe is my arch enemy, ok, it is not personal. Before 2015, I didn’t even know whether he existed. I never forgive him and Mangala for treacherous Geneva Report and everything they did afterwards which have now reached its culmination with 2018 Budget doing the groundwork for complete foreignization of the country.
        .
Ranil, as the Prime Minister, appearing before the Bond Commission is not good. It’s a disgrace to the country. He should go on Leave Of Absence voluntarily, as he will never step down or as it is even highly unlikely for President to sack him. He should appear before the Bond Commission WITHOUT his Title. President can temporarily appoint mild-mannered Mahinda Amaraweera as the Acting PM. I have no ulterior motive. I don’t support MR/JO (minus WW). They had an opportunity to change the tack in October 2016 for the sake of the country which they didn’t. Instead of choosing traditional zig-zag sailing, they chose to move directly upwind. Fools. Since 2015, our country is receiving international scoffing as a country which is ….ed up from top to bottom. Ranil is despicable to me but his case will be another, if he goes before the Bond Commission as the Prime Minister which is a disgrace to the country. Ranil should go on LOA first, whether he agrees/not.

          1

Anybody can see that Ranil is trying to find a way to get out of the Bond Scam same like Ravi, Mahendran, Aloysius, Kabir and Malik.
This is not the way it should be handled. The President should issue an order for AG to file a case against Mahendran and Aloysius. Then all other secret deals of con artists will emerge with new additions Senasinghe, Rajakaruna, Dayasiriri, Ajith, I am sure there will be more.
          .
I get a beautiful picture. Everything is falling into its places nicely for people to demand a mid-term election. I told Wimal last year we should rally people and demand a mid-term election in 2018. Anyways, before that JO screwed up. Now people are not as aggressive or demanding as before. And most importantly now I don’t want to do anything to weaken the Executive Presidency. First I thought Hotu Pohottuwa was for Basil, that was before the ruling on the dual citizenship. As it can clearly be seen now, Hotu Pohottuwa is not for the country, MR has tried to form a party for Namal as he has no chance in the SLFP. I don’t find fault with that. But it should not be at others’ or country’s expense. MR/Basil first did it at the expense of the JO, then at the expense of the country by taking part in the Constitutional Assembly, then at the expense of Sinhalese by supporting the abolition of Executive Presidency. As a father, MR has every right to be selfish and give priority to his sons. But as a legendary political leader whom I myself and millions of others adored and loved sometime ago immensely, has no right to be selfish.

This is the man who in a TV interview during last Presidential Election said that they always had money travelled.in Benz cars and horse riding was his habbit. He didnt want to make money through politics.

Then the leader of the gang Ranil gets a UNP COPE member to resign so that Sujeewa could sit in the COPE and wash all their dirt.

So who would bring more information about how many times they had been calling former CB men in the high days of Musalaya Rajapakshe ?

This bank issue should have been studied going back to past.

Else, it is no means fair at all. We perfectly know the doctored documents submitted by previous men caused CB to bring such high numbers about the growth of the economy.
How come then a country to have been named as the economy in the high days of musalaya were to be called progress than today ?=

I think all what they did – were affected on the current govt.

But i am very happy to welcome incumbent prez being a human being than a culprit. His remarks against sensitive issues are moving.

God bless srilanka. dominated by culprits.

Mud or not, it’s the facts of a scandal. In fact, I would expect shit, not mud, & as the saying goes, some of it will, hopefully, stick.

We have dumb ministers who admit they know nothing of what they are expected to know. In the absence of an independent & credible judiciary, the best we can expect is to name shame the crooks, even though these career yob politicians have no shame.

It is frustrating that the script changes when typing! Sorry!

What I meant to say was that apart from the Bond Scam and the mismanaged SAITM issue, what else has this government done to earn headlines, during its tenure to date?

Most of the “mud” would not have stuck had the Prime Minister acted sagaciously and speedily, by asking a couple of people to step down. All he did was to procrastinate and see what has happened!

We’ve got to get this sorted out as fast as possible. After all it is true of so many of us that we see so many positives in this site that we spend hours posting comments on it. Of course, it may be a relatively small group of English-speaking Sri Lankans who constitute the readership.

What about the Mahinda Rajapaksha visiting Criminals and accused in Walikada prison every the other day. According to this new theory Mahinda Rajapaksha should have hand in those Crimes. What about the Shiranthi Rajapaksha’s telephone calls to Narahenpita Police station even after midnight (some 43 telephone calls as i remember) the day Wasim Thajudeen murdered? What about the satellite communication Namal Rajapaksha had with Presidents office on the same day Wasim Thajudeen murdered? Why can’t CID publish Shiranthi Rajapaksha’s calls the way they publish COPE members and Arjun Alosysius had. What about the Yahapalana President’s calls to FCID and block files belongs to Dilan Perera, Anura Priyadarshana Yapa, Susil Premajayantha, Mahindananda Aluthgamage and other SLFP crooks in the Cabinet?

Its time to clean the crap out of Sri Lankan politicians. Who has the guts to do it? President, PM or the back benchers?

    • 3
      1

Sri lanka needs a big change. MY3 is not going to do that. He does not have that much courage. This FCID investigation gave a string because, PTL has paid Ajoth Nivarrd Cabrall too. I think AS MY3 knows definitely the previous govt is thives, probably he also got money from PTL (Nimal Siripala has got money), MY3 won’t be continuing it to the previous govt.

      Park,

How can the PM clean this crap when he is at the top of the heap? The self appointed “Mr. Clean” has always been a crook and a murderer. Got to say, he learnt well from Uncle Junius on how to steal indirectly. Control the party so he can control the party check book. In the meantime, take care of friends, family and cronies who keep pumping money in to the party bank account so he can live like a king.

Anyone remember Batalanda? No respect for JVP here. After all Batalanda Ranil did to their supporters. 40 years in politics and 40 years of thuggery, murder and stealing. Not to forget, selling the country

Is it a crime that Arjun Aloysius speak with COPE members or COPE members speak with Arjun Aloysius? In the previous regime nobody cares about COPE reports as all reports directly gone to the waste paper basket. As par as I remember all UNP mp’s agreed with the final COPE report and they added some foot notes to the report where they did not agree with some matters such as calculation of Loss in the report. Also UNP members like Ajith P. Perera, Harsha De Silva recommended that Govt. should sue PTL and recover the losses incurred by the Govt. Now it seems the target is UNP Leaders. There is something wrong here as nobody asking under whose Governorship PTL was formed? Who were the Directors then? weather there was no conflict of interest as Governor’s Sister was in the Director board of PTL? If we want know the truth we should not mix up small things like telephone calls and come to a conclusion. Let the commission find things and publish their findings and recommendations. Also AG dept should not forget that they still keeping some 79 files belongs to Rajapaksha cronies for nearly 1 to 2 years without taking any action. Also today we came to know that files belongs to Sajin Vaas Gunawardana is missing from AG department.

    • 1
      1

Good comment Lapatiya! Yes, the UNPers in the COPE recommended the loss to be recovered from PTL. So how can they be a party to this bond scam? Since the calls are so important, the investigating officers should publish the contents of the calls. Without that, just a mere call does not amount to anything. PTL seems to have been doing its utmost to get out of this problem by calling all their contacts, friends, etc., But how can we lump all into one basket and call all of them criminals? Why didn’t the officers of the AG’s dept. question the witness about the contents of the conversation? Who is pulling strings to throw mud?

      thondamannay,
Cowards take power as a cover. Credit should go to RW as he faced Batanda commission appointed by Chandrika B. knowing very well the purpose of appointing such a commission. He was just a opposition leader then. Now he is going before the Presidential commission appointed by Yahapalana President as a Premier. It is common knowledge that the Idea is to appoint such a commission and extending it’s mandate from time to time to gain a political gain. Yahapalana President may never expect RW to go before the commission to testify. I am sure he will appear before the commission.by Monday without any Snake bite.

We are grateful to CT for disclosing these baby faced third class politicians . emasculated UNP leadership could never win a presidential election so they smuggled in the lame duck my3 and once they capture power started stealing from the CBSL itself. Disgusting ! RW is clearly like Fagin in Oliver Twist , he does not steal but he makes his acolytes steal. RW and RK and also the Footnote politicos are compulsive liars . This is the testimony . My dear fellow citizens , Put not your trust in any one of those who’s name is touched with this national scam . They’re virtuous in the opposition and when in Government they are just as despicable as those whom they supplanted .

check the videos of Sujeewa Senasinghe just before the elections talking to TV programs. He said he was not a cheap thief. He had money as his brother was a doctor in the UK. He was bashing Mahinda Rajapakse. some where I read, Ajith Perera, and Sujeewa are two of the MPs who got houses from PTL. It looks MY3 is not continuing bond scam to previous govt, because FCID had implicated Nivardd Cabral taking bribes. IT looks Ranil is not also stepping down even he is has given the order to banks to loose and to PTL to win.

IT looks car is Namal Rajapakse and the other name is Mahinda Rajapakse.

All these Mps are young to enter Parliament and we had lot of hopes to make the Parliament a “Blessed” House. With the “Bond Scam” coming up before COPE (both under DEW & Sunil) we saw the TRUE COLORS of these “Promising” young Parliamentarians. One among the lot (Sujeewa Senasinghe) took a bold step in writing a “Book” defending the “Bond Issue”. How many times we saw these MPs appearing in TV debates and defending the “Bond Issue”. Among that lot Mr. Ajith Perera, who is a “High Flying Lawyer” at some debates, demonstrated in arguments that he is the “Mr Know All”. At the final stage of the COPE report they ganged up and made “Foot Notes” and who took the lead in that “Foot Note Gang” and he was Mr. Harsha de Silva – another on whom we placed trust and confidence. What happened to these “Promising” young men and women in Parliament? The answer is simple. It is nothing but ASSOCIATION of “Fraudsters”; “Criminals”; “Corrupted” politicians who count decades of continues life in Parliament. Hope the PEOPLE will make a NOTE to CHASE away all these vagabonds from the Parliament at the next opportunity available.

How come the language/religion divide is not mentioned anywhere in this thriller soap?

  • 0
    0

Yes. There were so many times of conversations with so many people . What exactly did they talk so many times? I am not splitting hairs but they have to be matters of mutual interest. What interest there can be other than the Bond affair? It could even be even doing business. Yes I can be of some service but what is my compensation? So! the entire foot-note club is on the mat aiding and abetting the interests of AA, perhaps for some consideration. Clearly they should have refrained talking to each other while the matter was under study of the COPE. Should the times of conversation coincide with the period that this matter was being examined by the COPE, then they have to be in boiling water and not merely hot water.

Okay,so the AG has given this information. So what? When even murders like lasantha, ekneligoda and thajudeen are blocked what can we expect to be done about telephone calls in this third world and always going to be third world country. The country is running on petrol sent by citizens who have left the country and are sending remmitences which are the highest foreign exchange ,easily beating exports. So while some are keeping the country going suffering abroad, some are making merry here.

      Dear Thrishu,
Because of the disorder, something like Zimbabwe might happen here and the chances tip for say 60 to 40. That is the end of Democracy here and many young in Sri Lanka have indicated that they have lost faith in Democracy. What I fear most is that it will not solve any problem but will be worse giving rise to the birth of an Idi Amin. So MY3 and RW have a greater responsibility to clean the mess, apart from the electoral promises. For starters can both of them joined by the Speaker call upon the foot-noters and others who have had contacts with Aloysius while sitting in the COPE to resign their seats in Parliament? If not what we can think is that there is considerable amount of dirty linen within the two of them which is known to the guys and gals who had a pow-wow with Aloysius.

These rascals are banning local toddy and bringing in Beer. Then telling “don’t drink Milo, Drink beer.“. Can these guys bring example from one government telling to drink beer instead of soft drinks? Clinton and Bloomberg negotiated Drink makers to stay away from School as that is where soft drink addiction starts.

All Lankawe games are conceived in board room of Million dollar companies. Any bitch in government, SLFP-UNP, Right -Left, Yahapalanaya-Joint Comedies………only a penny. They know if Modayas come to know they all would be SWRD. So they have to keep PTA to arrest Tamils and keep framing LTTE cases.

It was so sure from the beginning that in CB looting a Tamil is connected the case it will go the end. Ranil saved the Beauty King from Sri Lankan Air Line looting. That is pretty equal to CB. But this is an opportunity to show Modayas and IC that they too investigate. If not why would Yahapalanaya still keep the PTA to arrest Tamils and frame cases? So we kept asking Emil to go forward and tell the truth in all occasion. But now that is clear that one is sworn if needed even kiss the hang rope, but to save Ranil. Case will go on until Ranil Vindicated. Then Emil will accept fraud and go to prison. Didn’t Kathirgamar and his family saved Old King?

We have such rascals in SL ! How can a person inquiring into a public matter be having so many conversations with an accused ( the commission even released the guy from giving evidence because he was a potential accused)
Now the commission should summon Serasinghe and ask him what the accused told him !

  • 3
    0

I have a suspicion that by the time this Commission publishes its findings, and indictments are filed in courts, and argued, it will be time for the next parliamentary election.
The new government may even cancel all findings and start again.
All rogues will get a breather, and some may well be part of the new government.
The only entity which will survive are the armed forces, which will become so massive that it will enter the corridors of power.

Meanwhile, the national and international debt burden would be so massive that we end up like Zimbabwe.

      Justice.
Every month the bond commission comes out with.sensational findings to keep the village sinhala folks updated time to time. This whole bond comedy commission scam is a bloody farce set up by MY3 to throw black tar at the UNP and its popular ministers. If i was Sujeewa i would have told the comic commission to fly a kite.

Chamutditha Senanayake: Bond commission made the Mr. CLEAN a PALHORA. Now his gang is identified. Mr. clean Ranil setup the FCID. I hope the judges in FCID have the courage and determination to question this PALHORA without being chicken or showing favourtism. Instead respect the country and think about what is happening to the country. Palhora said he would prosecute the former govt thieves. Yet he can not do it.
