Thajudeen Murder: Anura Senanayake And Sumith Perera Further Remanded

Colombo Additional Magistrate Nishantha Peiris today further remanded Former Western Province Senior DIG Anura Senanayake and Former Narahenpita Crimes OIC Sumith Champika Perera until June 9, 2016 over the murder of ruggerite Wasim Thajudeen.

Anura SenanayakeSenanayake was arrested by the CID on May 23, for concealing information pertaining to the murder. He was questioned for several days before he was arrested.

Perera who was also arrested by the CID in April for concealing evidence with regard to the murder of Thajudeen had reportedly revealed the names of the ‘higher authorities’ from where he received the order to cover up Thajudeen’s murder.

Thajudeen, a Sri Lankan ruggerite and former Havelock SC captain, was killed in Colombo in May 2012.

All RIGHT RESPECTING folks in and out of the country would respect you CT…. we are a nation that local journalists have their monopoly – not being able to call a spade a spade, but for a murder of the kind – we should every one be united to go against. How Thadjudeen s mother feels being unable to bear the loss should not examplanable to any mothers inlcuding Ms Shranthi Rajaakshe, whose boys have been alleged to have done the job. Anyways, justice should be given to this case – basta. Mother lanka will respect you good journalists… please reveal more.. never be like passive being part of Rajaaksshe murderers

PLEASE keep this man in jail for all the crimes he has deliberately commited on the orders of Rajapakshes.

No disasters of the current day will be the consequences, if law makers together with respective authorities would do the job accordingly.

It is time that the Sri Lankan justice system stopped flogging dead person. They must get to business and begin prosecuting the real killers. I hope I am not wrong but “justice delayed is justice denied”.Bensen

Man this situation is still 100000000000000000000 times better than had been prior to 08th Jan 2015. Today almost everyone is given right to criticise.

Those were the days that thugs took every advantage to put down the other…

      1) Reemember how former CJ Dr SB was attacked verbally and all other means

      2) HOw visiting Fact finding mission of YOUNG UNP MPs were attacked in Hambandtota?

      3) How visiting Dr Pillay was attacked by low verbal attacks =

      4) How drug kin pins were supported by direct mediation of Head of state ? by abusing state helicopters as if they were their air taxis

      5) How Srilanken airline was abused not being able to calculate correctly… being intoxicated by power…. as if the mad soldier took the wrong weapon

      6) Remember how toypistol men were the high men of society as anarchy was governing ?

      7) How women were attaacked, How children were attacked ? No matter any civlizied values should be given priority, King governed putting all others down as no other leaders ever did in the region.

      8) How so called powerful politician dealth with foriegn missions – were not forgotten to the people.

But lanken men of you rkind would never see it right… even those so called pundits .. made pundits like Dayan Jayathilaka would stay deaf for ever. .. being unable to filter good from the bad.
