Those For And Against Ranil In Prediction-Game Regarding SLFP Position

Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe

With just five days to go for the debate on the no-confidence motion brought by the Joint Opposition (JO) against Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe, elements from both the SLFP and the UNP are vying with each other making claims on the position that the SLFP would take on the matter.

Although President Sirisena has snubbed Wickremesinghe, relieving him of ministerial supervision of the Central Bank disregarding his protests, UNP MP Kavinda Jayawardena has insisted that ‘sources say the President is backing the Prime Minister.’

Meanwhile State Minister Dilan Perera (SLFP) has opined that ‘the only option to protect the Yahapalana Government and prevent the removal of the Prime Minister through the no-confidence motion was for him to step down before April 4th.’

However fellow SLFP parliamentarian Hirunika Premachandra has backed the position taken by Jayawardana, saying that the SLFP’s General Secretary Duminda Dissanayake had confirmed that the party would back the Prime Minister. She claims that Dissanayake was essentially expressing the opinion of the party leader, President Sirisena.

Jayawardana however acknowledged that the truth of reports cannot be verified, but insisted that ‘even if all SLFPers leave the President tomorrow (the UNP) will not leave him’ because ‘he is one of ours.’

Dilan Perera’s argument is that ‘legal and political remedia measures on the bond scam have begun,’ because ‘nothing was done to bring to book the perpetrators or to recover the damages.’ He said that ‘the constituent partners of good governance like the TNA, the SLMC, the ACMC, the National Union of Workers and the Democratic People’s Front must vote for the motion if they want to save the government.’

Thieves are Goebbles. They try to brainwash people. why there is so much struggle for firing a proven thief. Jayawardane should be from the Jayawardana clan who wants to one day lead the party. IT looks Senanayakes have been chased out and no wijewardane’s any more. read carefully, how thieves and want to be thieves are manoevering. It,. Live on stolen money and wealth to be stolen.. there will be thugs to protect you.

Completely a new president, not any one from this gang, No PM at all, smaller cabinet should eventually govern the country. for the elections, there should be a completely new team. None of the 225 thieves.

The absolute tragedy of all these machinations is that all they amount to is the exercise of blatant self-interest and nothing else.
What are bunch of monumental thieves we have parading as the providers of “Good Governance.” It is nothing short of obscene.

Who is Dilan, he is a voter base less creature who is riding the back of the President in order to get out of the allegations against him. He is a surrogate of Mahinda and he has one foot in SLPP and the other in SLFP. What has he done to the country up to now other than stealing from the country and talking foul of others when he him self is full of dirt. How can he even comment because he was kicked out of the Parliament by the voters and he came to the Parliament through the back door “Pinata Seat”. Correctly speaking he should not even have a seat or a vote in the Parliament. President is the head of the Cabinet and the Government. Appointment of the Central Bank Governor was also done under the signature of the President. So how come only the Prime Minister has to leave, what about the President? Since UNP got more votes and formed the Government to which SLFP was invited, Dilan owes his position to Ranil not to Maithree or Mahinda. Dilan is a Thankless creature.

Lot of mad people are in the government waiting to topple and bring the rogues to power. One of them is Dilan Perera as we note.
Who gave this crook the power as a minister in the government? Sillisena??
Now biting the hands which feeds you.
These are the traitors of the country.
One and only one purpose to be in the ruling government for their own gain and bankrupt the nation.
These people should be sacked and never be voted in as MPs even.
    Really sucks.

Lear aside these “Pandithyas” and “Party Cows” aside. Isn’t for the Prime Minister to REFLECT upon his own “IDEOLOGY” and “PERFORMANCE” after the UNIQUE type of Governance that was introduced after the 8th January 2015 and make a “Self Appraisal” for himself and answer the question in the wake of this “No Confidence” motion: “Did I or DO I perform as PM to match and meet the present day demands and expectations of the People of this country”? I don’t know how capable he is able to make that “Self Appraisal” in the presence of “Greed” for Power; but for the sake of the country in particular and the people at large, he must engage by “Himself” in that evaluation with a clean and clear mind set. He is a Buddhist and it is imperative for him to follow the First Step of the Noble Eight Fold Path viz. “Samma Dhitti” (correct view) and followed with “Samma Sankappa” (correct perception) and decide for himself the Future Course Of Action and it is nothing but to STEP DOWN. Mr. PM: Why do you need to lead this country to any more and further more trouble? Just STEP ASIDE; it is BEST for you and the country. Please don’t wait for this MOCKERY of a NCM. Please be GRACIOUS and GENTLEMANLY to accept the REALITY and TRUTH.

SL is governed by jokers … Hirinika, One Shot Ranjan, Duminda the Ganja, BUS conductor Amaraweera… … they are the people who are talking and make the policies of two major parties …
what a set … Have you heard the words “development of the country” from them except words of hate and non sense in their speeches for whole of their life…
Do you need anybody else to send the country to garbage pit?

Then comes the Ravi K, Rani-L, Pa.Cha., red elephant Lapa Kumara … what a leadership set … “talking kings” …. empty words while selling all assets SL has …
Do you need anybody else than these leaders to send the country the to sewer pit?

RE: Those For And Against Ranil In Prediction-Game Regarding SLFP Position

The outcome will be determined by the self-interest and self-preservation.

Since the current Yahapalanaya Govt. is not aligned with the self-interest of the JO, they do want the PM and Yahapalanaya to fall apart.

From the Grape Vines , Bulath Vines and Vetila Vines

No confidence motion : TNA to support P.M.; 15 senior SLFP members too for P.M; Sirisena’s conspiracy recoils- SLFP splits further !

Following the desperate and diabolic attempts of president Maithripala Sirisena via conspiracies to bring a no confidence motion against prime minister Ranil Wickremesinghe , the very political leader who put Sirisena on the pedestal of president , the latter is facing a graver crisis himself- his own SLFP group is now threatened with a split again based on reports reaching Vine news.

This is mainly because 15 members of Maithri’s SLFP group deciding to vote in support of the P.M. 15 senior members including the party general secretary Duminda Dissanayake who have informed the UNP they will be definitely voting against the no confidence motion.

Meanwhile bankrupt self seeking politicos like S.B. Dissanayake and Thilanga who were chased out by the masses but entered parliament through the back door again and are Sirisena’s faceless henchmen have said , they will vote against the P.M.

This is not from Maname. This is from Sinhabahu.

Majority expect peoples choices are different when it comes to supporting politicians. Its a freedom of choice. But please don’t try to portray R.W. as a honest or credible leader, his close and trusted friend Arajuna Mahendran destroyed highfalutin myth R.W. as MR CLEAN ! as they say “clean out of the water”.
To take a page from another leader who is epitome of corruption M.R. if one want to stick with the “Devil you know” stick with whom ever one like.
But please don’t try to lift R.W. as a credible honest strong leader it is embarrassing and seriously a insult to average voter in Sri Lanka.

This is waste of time. Is there any other news? Billions of public money is wasted on Parliament. No one is working. Government Ministers are enjoying every bit of their paid holiday. Parliament should be cut down to half. Only 110 MPP are enough for a small country like ours with 20 Ministers.

      Champa

      As a matter of fact

Early 70s we had about 110 & with no reason now we have 225.

We have better infrastructure so we can bring it down to 60 even though the population has doubled.

MPs meant to represent people but are they really doing it?

In 70s we didn’t have PCs & people never asked for it (except Tamil extremists a separate country) but India threatened JRJ & installed them.

Time has come to dismantle PCs; @ least we can merge them to make 4 @ the beginning & finally we can merge them to make 1 & make it meaningless & make Indian intervention null & void.

We can do something meaningful by electing about 60 parliament MPs on 1st past the post basis & a senate comprising 30 members on proportional representation basis, that’ll do justice to the people.

Yeah, you are right. We should encourage people to elect leaders who promise to scrap the number of seats in the Parliament.
I am telling the same for 3 years now. WE SHOULD ABOLISH PROVINCIAL COUNCILS which are white elephants.

Dilan Perera is a joker. A lose talker with no substance. The last time he predicted that the UNP/Sirisena gov (that he is now part of) will have to drink poison and die and the UNP won the election. Because of Dilan’s stance this time i think the PM will win this again.

As said before, if they want to get rid of the Ranil ‘peretha dosaya’ no confidence motion will not. work A large crowd lighting a fire on the Galle Road in front of Temple Trees and keeping on throwing large handfuls of ‘dummala’ on the fire, would be the way to go. After all, if the JO can break coconuts as a complaint, why can’t they rely on dummala? Chasing ‘bala perethyas’ is not easy.

All these problems are due to to the cowardice and dishonesty of MS and RW. From the beginning they started action to save Rajapakses and their stooges, completely ignoring what they promised to the people. This is “illan keama”

It is for the sake of UNP ‘s future you have to vote in favour of the NCM to kick him out, otherwise he will not go away till he breaths the last. Fulfill the aspirations of the majority. Change RW. though he posses himself to be the greatest liberalist he’s the worst dictator in the UNP.

Ranil should regret for attempting to make the legislature the strongest in Asia. It has boomeranged. At least initiate actions to bring democracy back to people after this NCM. People will back RW at this NCM. Also this NCM should pave way for the next course of action which should be justice for all. Let this festive season bring good results to the people. Let the devils perish.

      Trevor,
Bond Scam did more damage to the country compared with all the others combined. The impact will last for the next 30 years. The other thing is robbing Central Bank was done by the Royal Gang who promised to eliminate corruption and robed votes.

Face Up or Resign: In my opinion, Ranil should not resign. Instead he should face up the ‘No Confidence Charges. So many close to him and others who do not know him have worked hard against the ‘No confidence’ Motion. Ranil would be letting down those, if he resigns now.

Go Ahead and fight man! You are strong, cool and patient enough to win it. Good Luck!

Remember Batalanda commission? Chandrika appointed Batalanda commission and Commission summoned RW for evidence. Lot of people advised RW to not to go before the commission as the idea of the commission is to discredit RW. But RW appeared and that was the end of it. At that time RW was in Opposition. This time also Bond commission summoned RW. Even before commission’s request, RW made public that if the commission need any clarification he is ready to go before the commission. This time RW is in power as PM. I don’t think RW is a coward to runaway from the challenge and I am sure he will survive.
Lot of people in JO and SLFP asking RW to bring back Arjun Mahendran. But they are silent about Udayanga Weerathunga, Jaliya Wickramasuriya. Why this JO goons and Pin Ministers like Dilan Perera, S.B Disanayaka, Susil Premajayantha can’t ask Mahinda Rajapaksha to bring his first Cousin Udayanga Weerathunga and another cousin Jaliya Wickramathunga back to the Country. Udayanga Weerathunga was seen with Mahinda in Thailand, Japan and some other Countries. But JO and Pin Ministers are silent. They are also keeping mum about Gem Bag of Daisy Achchi, Shiranthi’s Siriliya account, Gotas crimes and 34 corruption report submitted to Gomarala along with Bond commission report in which former and present SLFP ministers are accused of robbing the state funds.. Why this Double game?
      .

Yes he should not resign. JO is barking dogs including mad sumaney, JO doesnot have the votes and all democratic decent MP’s will standby RW. JO will vanish into thin air. A good lesson for future MP’s. Don’t trust Rajapaksha’s.

There is no doubt that some of the SLFPe’s will support NCF with the blessing of ungrateful, uneducated, power greedy, third class byya Sorrysena. But ministers with backbone will go against the decision. May be the end result will be those Ministers like Duminda Disanayaka, Sarath Amunugama, Vijith Wijayamuni Soysa joining in hand with UNP. Then 4% “Hingana” Silisena will go down to 1% without any doubt.
Sorrysena may have forgotten that “Rilava”, Dilan Perera, “Pin Amathi” brought 3 bottles of Poison and displayed at the Presidential Election in 2015. First bottle for Ve. Maduluwawe Sobitha Thero, Second bottle for 2.50 Gon Byya, Sorrysena and the other for RW. This “Rilava” is pointing his finger at RW and talking like a baby. Gen Pubic knows that this “Pina” has lot of corruption charges and Sorrysena is protecting him. They are the biggest advisers for Gamarala. Somehow or other UNPe’s will protect RW except few of Rajapaksha loyalists and finally Sorrysena will see the Logical end of his journey. This guy, Gon Sorrysena should understand that he is nobody without UNP support. He can survive only with UNPe’rs. It seems that this “Sooththara Puncha” running in to bunch of wolves betraying those who sacrificed everything to brought him to power. What a pathetic situation our Country is running in to.

Ranil Wicks has no role to play in Parliamentary democracy due to his CB Bonds scam ?
Why is that ? He has lost all credential and confidence of local and International capital market by
UNP of RW has been commitment of crime against CB Bond scandal and frauds since 2015 February 26?
This is kind of fraud of Central Bank looted by elected leader of Parliament form of government first time in the modern world .So therefor no-faith motion against Prime-Minister table in current Parliament want that consent of majority of chamber …. replace new management in Island country..
Matter of fact that is in priority agenda of nation survival!@

If lessons are learned from the ongoing Economic and Financial crisis ,there is little doubt that the Central Banking which has emerge in last three years, which is Interest Rate and devalued of national currency of Rupee different from what we had in past.
We have to remained in a state of crisis under UNP leaders of RW threating capacity to perform of national economy that effectives intermediation of government functions need many years to come.
The Economic crisis in our door step. Its consuquqnaces are serious impact to the people and nation .
By and larger Local Banks of Sri lanka that want government interventions in banking continues via the purchase of impaired assets and recapitalization of trouble banks, and injection of liquidity into the system of corny capitalism classes by UNP leadership .

The Collapses of Island current national economy which is the result and accountability of CB Bonds scam by Primer of RW and his gang who has been looted wealth of national trasueary in 2015 February 26 and later on that.

Is it only Ranil Wicks has role to play in parliamentary democracy? What about the former president Mahinda Rajapakse and his clans who were openly robbed the nation to become the richest family in Sri Lanka. At least now people have the right to talk about these scam but we were sent white vans for made disappeared even if you open mouth about such scams for nearly a decade and still play a role in parliamentary democracy. Even the chief justice couldn’t get justice during that period.

All those MPs who vote against the NCM will be considered as traitors who want to protect the most corrupt political leader in the country and the person responsible for ruining the economy. People did not elect their representatives to protect a thief and an incompetent leader behaving like a dictator. Voters will throw shit buckets on MPs who vote against the NCM when they come to ask for their vote in the next election.

    31st Dream of King Kosala:
King Kosala: What I had last night was an ‘Adults Only” Dream, Puro. There was this very beautiful lady who had been married several times and was finally married to a handsome man, who looks like Richard Gere. He was trying to do something new with his wife that could benefit the whole family.
However, the previous husband, a man who liked Hulk Hogan was jealous and wanted to repossess the lady. The excuse given was that he saved the lady from a Rakthaksha Raksha (Red Eyed Devil) while he was the husband. Though true to a great extent, the lady had paid the Hulk cartfuls of Gold Kahavanu for the services rendered (no pun intended). Additionally, he commandeered many other cartfuls of the same stuff from the family treasures. So, things were in balance. At least that is what a reasonable man would have thought.
But the Hulk was not a reasonable guy, a quality that enabled him to win the fight against Red Eyed Devil. He wanted more Gold and the favors of the lady. After trying many tactics, he finally homed on a very effective one – known as Pessam Gehima (Petition). The Hulk who thought of the ruse, did not have the decency to sign it and got his dogs, who were eating the bones dropping from his table to sign it.
Matters were standing so, when I woke up. Puro, my worry is about my favorite queen Mallika, whom I won after fighting a long and bloody war, also may be plotting with King Ajatasattu to do the same thing to me. Please advise me what to do.
Await Purohithas advise in Part 2 of the dream.

    • 3
      0

31st Dream of King Kosala (Part -2)
Purohitha: Oh No, Your Majesty. True, Queen Mallika was a fun-loving lady in her youth. But she has changed a lot for the better since becoming the Agra Shravika of Buddha, thanks to you. Regarding Ajatasattu, he is not a Upasakaya, as we all know. But he has a good sense of sportsmanship unlike Hulk Hogan. Ajatasattu will never try to creep in to the bed of a woman belonging to another. Besides, there is no need for that. He has a harem full of ladies of all ages, sizes, weights and beauty.

You can rest assured that what you fear is not going to happen. Your dream is about Lankadweepa 2,600 years from now. An old leader after losing power tries to oust the next leader by hook or by crook. You and the Kosala Kingdom is safe from such machinations.

KK: (Highly agitated) Oh dear, I forgot to tell you about the jackal in my dream.

Purohitha: Oh, Your Majesty! That is ominous. Presence of jackals is always ominous. Pl tell me more.

KK: Well Puro, this jackal was always hovering like a shadow in the dark background, never exposing himself in full. What I noticed about him most were the teeth. He was either smiling or growling all the time, but teeth gave him away. He is evil. I am sure. One gets the feeling that he was, after all, the one behind the Pessama.

Purohitha: Oh you mean the jackal with the monkey smile? Just forget about him, Your Majesty. Again, that jackal is about Lankadweepa. Not Kosala Desha. He is soon going to be driven away by the dogs of Hulk.
