Tissa Attanayake has been arrested and is currently being interrogated by the Criminal Investigation Department.
Police Spokesman SSP Ajith Rohana told media that Attanayake who was the former UNP General Secretary and former Health Minister during the final months of the Rajapaksa regime, is being questioned on the forged document which he released to the media during the Presidential poll campaigning period claiming it is evidence of the plan being hatched by President Maithripala Sirisena and PM Ranil Wickremesighe to put state security at risk.
He has been remanded till February 11.

Must be Tissa Attnayake of MP need fair play by Equality before the law Sri Lankan Judiciary.
People having different political an opinion is which democratic principle that accepted by West. Here is no fair play by that after 2015 January 9th.

Attanayake wouldn’t have resorted to such actions without knowing the consequences, if it fired back. Let the judiciary decide what holds for him for his own doings.
I observed he was doing things arbitrarily with little concern for righteousness.

No we could not see it at the time he was with Ranil.
It was the misguide made him that down. All the cronies eating Kiribath together, paved the wrong way Aththanayake to slip easily. Any secretary should havebeen well aware of the kind of illlegal issues – that have heavy conseequances to bear in case that would go wrong, but bugger was caught. I personally woudl ahve been happier, this kind of thing could fall on the head of DAYASIRI because his mouth is akin to mudukku toilet … and almost destroyed the UNP at the time he betrayed the party
