How times have changed. These members of the SL armed forces photography club used to take x-rated action shots of the action in the wanni battlefields and sell them at pola’s all the way from Puttalam to Peliyagoda. Now look, will you.
I am glad that our Tamil brethren wore their best verti’s. Might as well look smart in the group photographs. I understand framed prints will be handed to these people at a ceremony to be held at the 4th Floor reception rooms. Soon. Nudge, nudge.
Meanwhile on the other side of our island paradise…bloody Ashroff scoffed all the lovely canapes yesterday and we were left with the crumbs (and some oily samosa’s. Aiyoo! Aiyoo!)

Colombo is all dressed up with no where to go!
Gota the goon’s CHOGM military-security has shut down Colombo for the past 2 days – streets are deserted, shops closed, those who could afford it have fled the city and others are staying home to avoid road blocks and there is nowhere to park a car.. Most Shops and cafes are closed – even Odel – the mega capitalist retailer in Colombo 7!
In fact the visiting delegates have no where to go to hang with the local dudes.
CHOGM talks big about freedom and CIVIL SOCIETY. But in fact it is a military dictator’s show and there is a massive security barrier to keep the common citizens out!
This is indeed the Common Poverty of Nations (CHOGM) Show in every sense of the word – whether in terms of Economic and social justice or civil and political rights!

LOL….our military intelligence need to improve their looks…even a eyes of baby can identify easily the standard Army haircut, black smith arms, and need to spend more time and buying on their proper standard hi-res heavy sized video cameras, laptops…should have accounted those in to the budget.
May i suggest a notepad and a pen, bottle black specks, a knapsack bag, long sleeves with shirts tucked, or a funky shirt while wearing a cap, chewing gum in mouth….gosh our MI disguise is so amateurish. We need to have more fair skinned guys and also women too.
