TNA Challenges MR To Release Proof Of Their Deal With Common Opposition

TNA MP MA Sumanthiran has challenged President Rajapaksa to publicize the proof he claims to possess of the deal that the TNA has allegedly struck with the common Opposition movement.

M.A. Sumanthiran MP

M.A. Sumanthiran MP

MP Sumanthiran while vehemently refuting the claim made by President Rajapaksa at his campaign rally in Chilaw regarding a ‘secret’ deal the TNA has made with the Opposition said that if the President possesses proof of this alleged deal that they never made, he should publicize its details without any hesitation.

Commenting on the allegations made by the President against the TNA, the MP said that they are claims he is making to mask his agitation concerning his growing unpopularity.

“These are statements that are being made to misguide Sinhalese voters and manipulate their votes,” he said.

He also said despite the Rajapaksa regime accusing the TNA of endorsing a separatist agenda, they made people-friendly decisions when crucial moments called for such action.

“Ministers who defected from the government now claim they regret voting for the 18th amendment. But the TNA holds no regrets because we voted against it – we put the country before our community at that point and took the right course of action,” he added.

Speaking further MP Sumanthiran reiterated that they have not entered into a deal with the common Opposition and added that they would also never support corruption, fraud and family bandism of the Rajapaksa regime.

I think the more you keep your trap shut the better it is for the opposition.

No one wants to touch this party even with a barge pole. The opposition and the govt can deal openly with any other Moslem or Tamil party. They lose a large chunk of the votes the moment they even look at you favorably.

So that is the status of your party Mr. Sumathiplanan. You are like the plague everyone wants to avoid.

What nonsense are you talking about. Mr Sumanthiran did the right thing. MR is trying to mislead the people and in his desperation, he is saying that the opposition entered into a secret MOU with the TNA. This SOB is a pathological liar and he must be exposed. If he has proof of this secret he should produce as soon as possible with his kept media.
This bastard makes unsubstantiated statements with absolutely no proof.

This opportunist ex-Rajapaksa worshipper and scumbag Vibushana wants tamil votes for Maithri’s victory but he also wants the TNA leaders to keep their traps shut.

Without the tamil vote Maithri will lose. Mr Sumanthiran has the power to ensure the tamil people abstained from voting, you moron. So have some respect for their leaders.

Judging by the exclusively Tamil crowds and their enthusiasm at our President Rajapakse’s meeting at Mullatiev on 18 December, it looks like the TNA, Sampandan and Sumanthiran are history! They vote by deeds and not words it looks like.

With all the UNP, HU and Sajith’s support, the majority this time to President Rajapakse will be over 10 lakhs of votes.

So get ready to suck on it desperados!

Why should Mr. Sumanthiran, a TNA stalwart ask for proof of deal signed between TNA and the opposition, if any, from the ruling party as TNA is a democratic political party, sole reps of the Tamils, serving the nationals living in N/E and can sign any pact with any party and this is a matter for the Tamils to question and not by any body else.

The fact of the matter is that both parties cannot approach TNA as both
brainwashed the majority Singhalese all along, that Tamils are aliens and proxies of Ltte and cannot be trusted, in their vote catching propaganda meetings and media briefings and how can they now go back on their words when the fear has set in ,that the Tamil votes will decide who the winner is as TNA got a large vote bank in the N/E and elsewhere and this fact is analysed and confirmed by the election watchers.

TNA should take a bold stand and take their cool time until around 05th
Jan to announce their decision, which the Tamils are sure that they will be allowed to vote according to their consciousness and TNA will remain neutral. TNA should not take the EP election seriously but concentrate largely on building up on a broader coalition among the Tamils and possibly a coalition with the EP Muslims and face the parliamentary election, which follows the EP election and get enough MPs to speak from a position of strength.

    Secret Deals

If from the July 1960 General Election to January 2015 Presidential Election, Tamils through their representatives – Federal Party, TULF, TNA – have had deals, why were they always ‘SECRET’? Why were they never open? Were they designed to send out 32% of Tamils to compose the Diaspora or Emigre population? World average for all peoples’ emigres is 3%. Was the Tamil leadership in perpetual conspiratorial mode to keep the remaining Tamils in thrall and in the doldrums?

Government must realise that political consciousness heightens in election times, equally among the Sinhalese as among the Tamils, Muslims and other minorities. What the government fears is the deepening of antipathy among the Sinhalese against the President’s misrule, made intolerable by familial involvement. What the President dreads is the force of all ethnic and religious entities; major and minor, forging a rare unity.

Sumanthiran challenges MR to release proof. Yes,if there is a deal, show it now. The people will soon shout demanding ‘The Deal, The Deal, The Deal’.

Sinhala foolish people are going towards hell. Even if the common vedda win the election your war zero mahodiya never leave his seat unti the country see dead bodies every road sides. January 8th is the day when this sri lanka will start to bleed. The genocide and racism against Thamil will never leave any single sinhala vedda to breath calm. Ok?

MR asked tamils to forget all the past Grievances and vote for him. Once trusted him and boycot the election to make him win and what he did in return, killed even after winning the war. It is better for TNA to maintain silence because people know exactly who to vote – Mithiri, he can’t openly say anything which will go against him. Any devil will be better than MR. Vote for Mithiry (no other choice for tamils now) to oust these lunatics, policy less monkeys-agitate Budists against hindus and worship hidu gods for his better future , is it not fair on ordinary budists. Why can’t he trust only budist god and be a good budist withour preaching others to be good budist. Why still people allow him to cheat by the name of God.

“we put the country before our community”
Sumanthiran, dont think that you can fool all the people all the time.To the Tamil people you say, “we cant live with the Sinhalese,we must teach a lesson to the Sinhalese,we must give pain to those who gave us pain” etc.etc and then to the Sinhala people you say, “we put the country before our community”. You TNA lawyers are bunch of liars. When the Tigers were alive, you all danced to the tune of the Tigers and praised them as the sole representatives of the Tamils. At the same time your leader Sammanthan got bullet proof car from madam Chandrika. You idiots spoiled golden opportunities to solve the ethnic problem and after decades, Sammanthan himself has admitted in Vavuniya that he had missed good opportunities.

Give it to the TNA, they voted against the 18th amendment, when the Sinhala MP”S gave up on the Nation and handed it over lock, stock and barrel to Rajapaksa.

I agree with “g” its time TNA makes up its mind whether it want to be a regional party or be a part of a solution to a national problem. No question TNA has a group of individuals with knowledge and integrity but what they are doing is a shame.

If the issues of 09 is for justice and not revenge explain it to the people will understand because justice denied to one is justice denied to all but in the mean time they should think nationally not regionally. They could be the check and balance that is badly needed.

Vibushana’s first comment about Mr. Sumanthiran and TNA is not said
in an acceptable language and he probably judging people by his own
standards. Mr.Sumanthiran is a senior politician, trilingual and an eminent lawyer and CT should edit out such low comments written about people of some statute in the country and maintain a high standard of reporting. CT has excellent & renowned writers and only few understand fully, the nature of the contents

Healthy discussions are good for democracy but not low comments like
    what Vibushana made.

To be fair to Vibushana, he makes sensible comments almost about all subjects; only when he hears the words such as Tamils, Tamil rights, autonomy, reconciliation, and 13th A, he hears voices in his head. He needs to be understood in this context; if it is not for the outside influences in his head, he would be sane!

In 1965,when the Dudley-Chelva pact was signed and a National Govt.was formed the then opposition chanted Dudleyge Badai Masala vadai. In this instance,Sumanthiran MP has quite rightly asked proof of any Pact between the TNA and the SI-CC.well before the Election.Between 1965 and 2015 a period of 50yrs[half-a century] the same slogan of secret Pacts are bandied about targetting the main tamil political party,at Election time. The TNA will not touch this even with a barge Pole dipped in Shit.

TNA either willing or pressurized by the diaspora to be neutral (not support My3) in any circumstances! In every restaurant, cafés, shopping malls the Tamils gathers in Europe and Canada speak about the destiny if My3 elected. Most of them have to leave their adopted country if Rajapakse defeated. Fair enough they don’t want to come back from where they have made their home; children go to school and have a comfortable living!
I have grave suspicion will the TNA ever support My3 or even I’m not surprised if they support Rajapakse for that very reason!!!!

G.L Peris who is misusing his valuable education for bad things which is a big shame for UK education, questioned about Mithiy’s stand about 13 + . What is his problem. We tamils do not want an immediate answer. We all know how much damage he has done to this country. My advise to him is – shut your stupid dirty mouth old man and go to hell. Actually he is not doing any good to Singhalese either.

Another one talking nonsense. Gajendrakumar Ponnumbalam – says MR will distroy tamils and do not vote for him and he continue to say not to vote Mithiri either, that means he wanted MR to win. People are going to suspect whether he has accepted money from MR and trying to make tamils to boycot the election. Even his father used his talant and education to save rapist and murderers. I still remember the famous story of thread and needl in a rape case-no ethic at all.We all need new good people to come to politics other than from family history. So many tamil traitors, reminds me Thuddagamunu’s story.
