Mangala Samaraweera, upon receiving a letter from UNP leader Ranil Wickremesinghe appointing him as Vice Chairman, has said that it was not something he had expected.
He has tweeted that when he was appointed the SLFP Organizer for Matara 30 years ago he had not even in his wildest dreams thought that he would one day be appointed to such a position in ‘the grand old party’.

This unpopular and unsuitable leader Ranil has done many faggoty things in order to strengthen his position in the UNP. As a result the UNP has become the joke of the town.
Ravi K the pickpocket politician is also a assistant leader. One time Tissa Attanayake was made secretary of the party by Ranil. After Tissa exposed Ranil he is being relentlessly persecuted by the great leader !
Then Ranil made SB who had crossed over from the SLFP the national organizer of the UNP. Today SB hates Ranil.Ranil who has a good sense of honesty made Dayasiri Jayasekera an assistant secretary of the UNP . From his behaviour he is no second to Ranil when getting money from Aloysious !
Ranil also had that Posseur Milinda Moragoda as his adviser. Tilak Karunaratne who was a total failure as CSE as Treasurer. The list is endless.
Mangala is a dirt eating politician of no UNP background or even a decent history. He is a fashion designer who is now deciding economic policy for services given to the leader.
