Bodu Bala Sena and Galaboda Atte Gnanasara thero, had crashed into the Sirikotha premises to disturb the proceedings of the Human Rights Ceremony which is being held at the venue.
The inauguration ceremony of the Leadership Council is also being held at the Sirikotha premises this morning.

I don’t agree with a lot of what Gnanasara does but why attack the guy when he was just wanted to attend the ceremony.
Now if he deliberately tried to stop the proceedings by being loud and unruly then he should have been asked to leave and escorted out.
I’m a firm believer in allowing everyone to voice their opinion even if I don’t agree with it.

I don’t understand why he was attacked. Yes I don’t approve his behavior. But if he just want to meet Karu and have a discussion then why not just do that? It’s anyone’s democratic right to speak. Karu and UNP should have just had a discussion with him and just leave. Instead UNP made a mess. If this monk under the influence of MR then he hit the spot.
