Bodu Bala Sena and Galaboda Atte Gnanasara thero, had crashed into the Sirikotha premises to disturb the proceedings of the Human Rights Ceremony which is being held at the venue.
The inauguration ceremony of the Leadership Council is also being held at the Sirikotha premises this morning.

If the hardcore UNPers at Siri Kotha had succeeded to thoroughly assaulting this Galabodda Thero and a few others, they would have seen a sea-change on the part of the Sinhala people in support of the divided UNP. Needless to say Muslims and Tamils in the South too will come out in support. BBS will offer many more opportunities to the UNPers in the future that must be used to publicly disrobe this
unbuddhistic monk and restore the good name of Buddhism. If we had taken such a step before 1958 against Buddharakhita, who certainly did not sink this low in his public behaviour, we probably would have saved old SWRDB who did not have to die in that miserable fashion.
