Remember, without the Tamil cinema there would not have been Sinhala cinema industry, those early days.
S.M.Nayagam of Chitra Kala Movietone produced many Sinhalese films and many films were made in Tamilnadu.
Cinema industry in Tamilnadu have had produced three chief ministers and scores of politicians.
There has always been a strong link between cinema and politics in Tamilnadu.

When the SL government has violated the rule of law and the rights of the minorities anyone can protest, counter protests against purposeful protests make no sense.

I have met this girl when I was in England in a Supermarket actually. Happened to strike a conversation about the shows she used to do when she was in Sri Lanka on Ya-Tv . Shes extremely talented, great personality and funny individual. Best of all she was pretty down to earth didn’t have the typical attitudes most Sri Lankans have when they go to another country; they forget who they are and their roots. A real proud Sri Lankan and great Role Model.

The only difference is that Sri Lanka in addition has “Buddhist” Monks, called Budu Balu Sena, that makes this stew very interesting.
We all wish all these idiots never ended up in Lanka. They should take back their Rebirth and Nirvana Myths and be be born for ever and ever in India only.
