Hypocrisy of the Govt exposed by Mr Sumanthiran. None so blind as those who will not see. The truth is glaring in our eyes while we seek to blame the international community for our own wrong doings.

This attitude of the MR govt and the apologists is akin to them blaming the British for their own ineptitude of governance for the last sixty five years after Independence as if the British are in power still here in this country. Bloody set of Donkeys.

        Dear Gamini
You and Mr. Sumanthiran group who once praising the LTTE badly need a brain wash or a paradigm shift now because the reality seems to be millions of miles away from you.

        Mr. Suamndiran’s total speech is based on the old myths or he is desperately trying to dig back those;
        1. Minorities are being mistreated in SL since independence
        2. Tamils cannot live with majority
        3. LTTE/TNA are the sole representatives of SL Tamils and even Muslims
        4. Tamil Homeland in N&E of Sri Lanka
        5. Separate Tamil land for 50% of the Tamil population or 6% of the country total population live in N&E and the Tamil land takes 75% of the costal belt and 80% of the total land and sea reserves of Sri Lanka.
        6. Military win is the way for the Tamil land
        7. LTTE/TNA and GOSL are equal

But the great reality is that all those myths were sunken in Nathikadal lagoon in 2009 and there is no point and use in talking about such stupid ideas now as the political solution demanded based on those myths has already been given.

        Other realities are
        1. 13A and the LLRC need afresh countrywide mandate before implement any of those sensitive pledges such as power devolution and national security related issues; resettlement in critical places, Military withdrawal etc.
        2. UN or UNHRC who do not responsible for the people have no authority over country internal matters, no matter what promises the politicians have made to them or to any external leader in his personal or at any of the above forums.
        3. LTTE terrorism is no more as GOSL legitimately destroyed it in 2009 and the TNA lost its ideology of home land since then. All the etnic groups have been saved now.
        4. Sri Lanka is a fully democratic, Independent and sovereign state which is moving forward in a great speed.
        5. GOSL governs all the country as a unitary state and any change to it is made only on peoples will; that is it’s parliament base.
        6. Minorities in Sri Lanka live with full civic rights as the majority
        4. Sri Lanka including the N&E is the homeland for all the Sri Lankans.

On this reality Mr. Sumandiran’s speech is nothing but a plop.

Thanks to this type of nincompoops on whose advice probably MR keeps shifting the goal posts, believe as realities that have dawned on them now that

          1. 13A and LLRC needs a complete overhaul.

Why on earth did MR give an undertaking that he will implement so in the first place.

          4. To believe Sri Lanka is a fully democratic, Independent and sovereign state which is moving forward at great speed.

Yes indeed like the plane had to wait at the Olamottala Air Port over couple of hours till the fuel bowser arrived to refuel to take off.

As for how Democratic Sri Lanka is, I need not elaborate here as everyone can see it, except these arse lickers of MR who are blinded eating MR’s Pig shit.

          6. Minorities in Sri Lanka live with full civic rights as the majority.

Yes the whole world is witness to the civic rights of the minorities dispensed by the BBS recently.

If these nincompoops as Jaliya Wicremasinghe, Sajin Vass, and Mervyn type are the present advisers to this Donkey of a President, not even the Tripple Gem can save this Nation. Anyway we too will be around and will see how these fools who sing hosannas will escape the wrath of the masses the day they are booted. It will be another Nandikadal for them for certain.

            Dear Gamini,
Truth does hurt. Doesn’t it. No body in this country agreed to implement all of the 13A and the LLRC. So there is no goal post and many goal posts were shown to you by bankrupted Tamil and Werstern politicians for the payment they get from the LTTE ransom money collected from poor Tamils like you. So the goal posts are only in your immagination. So far the BBS has done nothing against the law. This country does not depend on one family. There are millions of such families to take over the batten if MR failed to fulfill people’s will or when he had enough. So, sorry your dreams and immaginations will never come true. (You realy sound like an Asian cleaning shit in a EU pig farm. Please behave yourself to match this page.)

True, truth hurts people like you now in denial that nobody in this country agreed to implement 13A and the LLRC. Only a moron can deny as your Donkey of a President also agreed Nationally and Internationally. Whose proposals are LLRC recomendations? VP’s? I can never behave as yourself by demeaning myself to clean Pig shit of your mentors like Gota which you seem to wallow. The readers will indeed judge who is fit to discuss issues in forums as these. Therefore before you ask me to behave, it certainly would do some good for you to understand same, that you fist live up to axioms that you preach others.

This speech reminds me of Martin Luthar King’s “I had a dream”…..!!

Well said. It takes courage to speak out for your people like this. This is what we need in Sri Lanka, a debate and speaking out against injustice. It seems right now minority leaders are intimidated by ugly accusations of supporting LTTE or belonging to lobbies.

This is a true patriot and more minority leaders MUST speak for their people.

May I also ask where the heck are the Muslim leaders? They should speak out like this. Shame on them.

This is exactly what I also wanted to ask. Hitlerpaksha (Idi Mahin) appears to have a “file” on most of these good for nothing parliamentarians. A good example is Rauf Hakeem’s “Kumari” file!!

yeah i too had the same question

where is Rauf Hakeem,Rishard Badiudeen,Alavi Mowlana and the others, the majority of the Muslim politicians were opportunists never once took the side of the oppressed people in camps like Menik Farm or about the white van disapearences

Sumanthiran has called the bluff of GLPeiris and Samarasinghe.
Peris cannot even pronounce a name correctly!
He has exposed the hypocrisy of the President, who, after assurances in 2009 even now allows the army to occupy lands & homes of those evicted by war.
He has explained why an international inquiry is necessay – not that the government is not aware.
Tamils merely need/demand equal rights with all other citizens – but this is being denied and they are forced to exist under the jackboot of the army.
The President, has still not “established” the nothern PC,for elections to be held,as a communique from the lections Commissioner states – BUT – he says elections will be held this year!.
    Is this also not hypocrisy.

All these prove that President has no control over any govt authorities.

What the Sumanthiran stressed is all correct. – I am a sihalese, but this is the reality under MR^s rule in SL today. I have no doubt there exist
significant masses in the country- that bears the same opinion.

I have always had great home in Sumanthiran and I am glad to see him here.
Pity not all Tamils wish him well though and accuse him of being a tiger (Douglas Devananda and Rajasingham Narendran come to mind)

Mr Sumanthiran exposed both GL Pieris’s and Samarasinghe’s double speak and deception in under 10 minutes. Deception is second nature to all in the government including Rajapaksa himself. Shameless bunch of corrupt and opportunists.

GLP is too old and demented to remember even names of important people. It is insulting and shameful but the man has no shame at all. I remember he referred to the Palestinian foreign minister as the foreign minister of Israel in public. That was a massive blunder.

what a speech but unfortunately most of the MP’s cannot even understand the contents (even if it was made in Sinhala) as they are so dumb !

Hon Sumanthiran made his school proud (Thomian) unlike G.L.Peiries another Thomian without the backbone!

GLP goes abroad for consultations well attired but comes back home without his pants. May be some Thomians like it that way.

Very good but they will never learn. They are used to only lies lies and lies. Remembering names and pronouncing them correctly is a western concept to which these people are impervious. bensen.

I have heard SL parliament on debating issues before and most of those were like Mradana/KuppiyaWatte Goris ( just a slang) They usually shouting each other all the time.
Now when Sumanthiran speaks there was hardly any objections. Where were Weerawanse or Dr Mervyn??
Was it because Mr Sumanthiran speaks in English? I don’t thing people like Wimal. Mervyn, Rajapakse Family guys or most of others in SL parliament have ability to comprehend the content of that speech!!

Great speech by a great parliamentarian! Can you please teach Muslim parliamentarians to speak the way you did on current issues of Muslims?
Also, i would like to thank you for mentioning Muslim women’s status in Sri Lanka.

This is absolutely shocking to hear that only 470 houses have
been built in N&E since the war was ended. How can we have
any credibility in the effort that we claim to make in reconciliation
after the war. This is why IC is interfering in our internal affairs.
Rajapakshas should be held responsible for facilitating such
interferences. Who are the unpatriotic Srilankans now?

Appalling performance, from this MP who is being touted as the future leader of the TNA.

PM Rudra looks foreman material, when compared with the contents, phrasing and delivery of this speech.

At least PM Rudra has a clear vision about his Elaam and is totally focussed on it.

Misspelling Ms Pillai seems to have pissed of MP Sumane more than anything else.

30% of Colombo is owned and occupied by Tamils, including this MP and a whole host of wealthy people.

Super Luxury coaches are lined up bumper to bumper in Marine Drive to transport Colomsiders to Jaffna and vice versa.

Where is this oppression, unless MP Sumana wants a free hand to incite the poor Tamils in Vanni to attack the armed forces with a little help from our brother Ranil.

The great majority of our inhabitants will need the help of all Gods, if this MP and his mates are given autonomy in the North by a private treaty by the President.

Mr Sumanthiran, we good Sri Lankans salute you for your bold stand on these vital issues of the people. Also for your taking on these meant and brutal lots who are ruling the country. At last, we should thank the Good Lord for he has given you to us to struggle for our good lives.

Sri Lanka would be far better off if this man were in charge there. I would take Sumanthiran over many of the leaders in the world today. You are very lucky to have him. I hope the grassroots of Sri Lanka someday puts him in charge so the nation may heal. Sumanthiran is a terrific man…

I want to add that you might very well be looking at a Nobel Prize winner here in the future. I am not sure that Sri Lanka fully knows just how significant this man Sumanthiran is. If the country can get beyond the past and put this man into power, Sri Lanka will unquestionably be better for it. I have now been following his words for some time and I am utterly impressed by this man….
