Well, well, if this is a Mahinda Jarapassa crony’s wealth, how much do you think that Gota, Basil, Mahinda, Namal, Yo babay and Shiranthi’s womanizing brother who was CEO of Sri Lankan Airlines to name a few have amassed?!

Why is the IMF and World Bank not being ask to track down the looted funds and return them to Sri Lanka instead of piling on more loans and VAT onto the poor people of Lanka?

What is Ranil-Sira avapalanya doing holding hands with IMF World Bank and Washington Consensus which is supposed to do Global Eocnomic Governance. These corrupt institutions should be shut down, but now the cat is out of the bag and riots in the US is all about ECONOMIC INEQUALITY which is hideous in that country because of INSTITUTIONAL FAILURE of Governance – Police and economic fianancial institutions have failed in that country!
CT- editors please show us and discuss the riots in Charlott North Carolina in United States and the Racial tensions unleased because of ECONOMIC INEQUALITY in the US which is the ROOT CAUSE of the violence.

Ugly mouthpieces destroyed lanken society for such a long time. Now it is high time these men to be marginalized from lanken society. Then only, the next generation will learn to correct their mistakes anddo the best out it for a civilized society.

Please investigate, this man s pedigree – family tree, if he is reportedly believed to own over 1000 or more acres in Kandy ? Is that true ? Then these man should not have work for a Sales job for 1500 bucks 15 years ago ? Can anybody please add more about the truths ?

Aluthgamage’s staggering wealth came into light when his wife sought Rs. 500 million settlement during their divorce.

Now come on 500 million is peanuts for the fraudster Aluthgamage. This bugger has a bokku kata and should be punished.

He has assets totaling more than 5000million, when maharajano has more than 18billion u$d stuffed in offshore accounts.

The stories the politician concoct are fantastic.

To get votes from the public they speak of their poor and difficult beginnings . Very much like our so called village man from Hambantota.

After a few years in politics their stories dramatically change. They speak of their family wealth handed down through generations. They spin stories such as this to justify their ill-gotten wealth.

Like the country that was saved from the LTTE we the people need to be saved from these politicians.

The people know most of these politicians and “leaders” are rogues of the highest order who had progressively looted the meagre resources of the poor country. That includes PM’s as well – one of whom an established drug-trafficker. What the people want to see is some, or many, of these crooks in jail with their stolen wealth confiscated to the full view of the country. That has not happened still. Until it does, the public will believe all politicians operate on the old
principle “you scratch my back, I yours” They have more than skeletons in all their cupboards. Our kind of democracy is nothing but sham.

Hats off to the gentlemen of that great club – the SSC. They told this
jerk he is a crook and will not be given membership to the Club. Well done.

His list of assets include houses even in London. All has bought once he became a politician.

there are ministers in the yahapalana govtg holding powerful positions they are also in the same boat.

I can not understand why he not admitted to the paid ward of a private hospital as soon as he was taken to the jail.

When British PM David Cameron visited Myanmar and met with Aung Sun Su Kyi he, smilingly and with great respect remarked, “it is a privilege to stand by you” As for most men and women in the Rajapakse governments the popular comment is it is a shame not only to be with them but to be close to where they are – to avoid the contamination of venality. What a
contrast! What a shame, Mr. Mahinda Rajapakse!
