The General Secretary of the Bodu Bala Sena together with a mob inclusive of monks stormed a press conference organised by the rival Jathika Bala Sena Watareka Vijitha Thero and abused the monk preventing him from speaking to the journalists present and in full view of the Police personnel present.

The incident took place this morning at the Hotel Nippon in Colombo.
Watareka Vijitha Thero was a vocal critic of the conduct of Galagodaaththe Gnanasara Thero and was assaulted and hospitalised last year while travelling in a vehicle. The monk alleged that the BBS was behind the assault. No person was apprehended or arrested by the Law Enforcement authorities following the assault.
The BBS General Secretary while verbally abusing the head of the Jathika Bala Sena coerced him into apologising for convening a press conference and ordered the disbanding of the organisation.
Watareka Vijitha Thero who was surrounded by the mob inclusive of monks had agreed to apologise and disband the organisation.
Sources however confirmed to the Colombo Telegraph that Vijitha Thero would make a Police complaint shortly at the Slave Island Police.
Around 40 Police personnel who were present during the fracas had not attempted to prevent the abuse nor acted against the violation of the right to the freedom of expression.

Hello people, this is a great danger to lanken existence.
Today itself, some 20-30 tourists from EU called me whether they could rely on lanken police, or any security. Many of them belong to regular tourists. They had also compared the way the govt of Mahinda Rajapakshe has handled that british murder issue, until 2 years are already gone since the incident took place.
I am helpless what kind of advice I should leave to these people. They loved srilanka as a beautiful paradise for them, but as I myself feel, without a law people would not travel to the country.
They raise the issue, if Ghanasara could do it, all other monks or religious representatives could also come with that.

In Islam, everything is governed under Quran. Children are taught only Islam, but not even a word about other religions. They are taught and trained to act as killing machines and spread Islam. This is the reason why Islam is very aggressive and Islam itself is terrorism.
When the majority of a country is Islam, they impose Sharia. They justify it as the “divine law of God”. Non-Muslims also need to adhere to sharia, or be punished under sharia. The American Approach is better, but is in macro level. Mass scale Muslim depression. While America treats the would cancer like that, small nations like Myanmar or Sri Lanka need to act in a grass root level to get rid form the world cancer.

The need for Myanmar like mechanism to deal with Islam.
Islam however, whoever says what, Is a barbaric religion. The religion asks to kill those who do not believe in Islam. The justification is, “it is better to kill them than let them live with no faith on Allah” so killing infidels is this justified as “for the betterment of infidels”

In Islam, everything is governed under Quran. Children are taught only Islam, but not even a word about other religions. They are taught and trained to act as killing machines and spread Islam. This is the reason why Islam is very aggressive and Islam itself is terrorism.
When the majority of a country is Islam, they impose Sharia. They justify it as the “divine law of God”. Non-Muslims also need to adhere to sharia, or be punished under sharia. The American Approach is better, but is in macro level. Mass scale Muslim depression. While America treats the would cancer like that, small nations like Myanmar or Sri Lanka need to act in a grass root level to get rid form the world cancer.
Sri Lankans, if they need to be safe, have to think about Something like in Myanmar, before it is too late. I think Sri Lankan Buddhist are ( or they used to be ) too good and too innocent. The acts of Ven Gnasara at Vilpattu further suggests that there a two types of citizens in the country . First class and the second class citizens.
