People talk of inaction by Yahapalanaya for not taking action to grill the persons who have robbed the state wealth. They should read the News papers and see what is going on.One cannot expect grilling persons like a bolt from the blue considering the vast number of cases referred to FCIB,CID and Bribery Com: etc.alleged to have committed by the members of former regime. The investigators are also human beings and only a limited number.Anyway we are happy with the way investigations are moving.

Bribery Commission must net more big catches.

    Wimal Weeavansa’s wealth.

    Doctorates of Mahinda and Gota’s.

    Mahinda’s astrologer’s wealth.

Karuna’s wealth and provision of benefits in kind. You know what I mean?

All those military officers including police officers owning properties from ill gotten income.

Bribery on the A9 road by the police officers.

    Ravi Karunanayake’s wealth.

Douglas Devananda’s wealth and unaccounted revenue from trade not disclosed to the Revenue with the blessings of the former Presidents.

    So on and so forth

One Mr Sibly Azziz , a UNP member I guess wants to build a second Runway at BIA..

Just imagine what that contract will be in LKR..

This super sleuth Ms Wickremasinghe should be planning to make sure that no kick backs take place when the Tenders are called unlike the Bond Tenders…

Because that will be real savings for the Elite who are the ones who will pay for the kickbacks, although they go to their own mates under Yahpalanaya.

Otherwise these investigations are just throwing good money after the bad without any bang for the buck.

How much Ms W and her squad have recovered , to justify their bib ass wages?…

This will be a better economic activity, because BIA will be a busy Airport, and already has has the infrastructure to handle it.

It looks like Bribery commission is looking for work.

So, no one in the previous govt is a thief or a criminal.

Bribery commission is a failed institution.

PCs and sergeants don’t have the skill sets to inquire into white collar crime.

They have no IT experts, bankers, lawyers and accountants to do proper investigations.

Only people punished are school principals, grama sevakas and low level employees.

One of the most corrupt places on earth is customs.

If you catch the thieves the GOSL will reward you and if you turn a blind eye the corrupt importers will reward you.

Cannot imagine the inland revenue does not do an assets reconciliation every year on the customs officers.

Mr JF in fact then whole nation can be placed as the most corrupt country in the world.

The current MY3 administration and the previous MR admin are the same coin with two sides, and our people, the voters, love this coin very much. and they like to join the thieves to shout “thief, thief”.

Bribery Commission, sadly is a failed institution, functioning without any power just like the FCID. They can bring out the names and expose their crimes but there is nothing they can do beyond that because this is all a major drama by the same “coin”.

Many members of the former MR administration are also in the present administration including MY3 and are sitting pretty coyly because they know nothing is going to happen to them.

Sri Lankan politics are players of major powers. MR would still be in power had he sided with the western powers and licked their xxxxx instead he towed the line with the Chinese and dealt with Russian backed parties for personal gains. According to recent reports we are talking millions of dollars into the pockets of the MR clan.

The greedy will always be greedy and being into politics is one good way of being uninvestigated and even if investigated though nothing is going to happen to them as one band of thieves will always stand by the other.

Sri Lankan politics is a ball game of major powers. MR would still be in power had he sided with the western powers and licked their backs. He, instead, towed the line with the Chinese and dealt with Russian backed parties for personal gains. According to recent reports we are talking millions of dollars that fell into the pockets of the MR clan.

The greedy will always be greedy and being into politics is one good way of being uninvestigated and even if investigated though nothing is going to happen to them as one band of thieves will always protect the other. This may be the reason why MR and clan are staging a come back with the behind the curtain support of MY3. Which means there is a coup in the seemingly divided SLFP cooking pot to oust RW / UNP
