Anura Senanayake

He was arrested for concealing information pertaining to the murder. The CID had been questioning Senanayake for several before arresting him this evening.

The arrest comes weeks after former Crimes OIC of the Narahenpita police, Sumith Champika Perera who was arrested by the CID for concealing information on the murder, shared vital information with the CID over the cover up of Thajudeen’s murder, including the details of several others who had played a part in concealing the murder.

“He was arrested for concealing information pertaining to the murder. The CID had been questioning Senanayake for several before arresting him this evening.”

It is good that finally they arrested the key suspected murderer, who was a key murder king-pin behind many murders.

When will they hang this murderer and killer? After all, during the past week well over 100 Innocent sri Lankans lost their lives, who were not murderers and killers, unlike, the former DIG Killer Senanayake.

I No doubt a good move- but hope not that again a bailing out issue, as we are made familiar by now. Greetings from Frankfurt for this day.

I remember you from JR/Premadasa/Gamini Fonseka days when Nanda Ellawala and Punchi were rivals.
Oh boy!, what ‘Tanha’ & ‘Aththa'(self or ego), does to people. Isn’t it is amazing. I would like Thajudeen’s friends and relatives to start trusting in the ‘Truth’ which the ‘Knower of the world’ preached 2667 years ago, ‘Ditta Damma Vedaneeya Karma’.

Burn him if found guilty. He wore a uniform, in the rank of a senior D.I.G., which is a symbol of discipline and the law of the country, and not to be an agent of criminals. His skyrocketing rise to this position us also a joke in very bad taste. There are also those in uniform who were patronizing the Rajapakses’ for promotion and most likely illicit rewards.

I have written in another column on CT. the Srilankan Police are the curse of the country.
They have been involved in almost every crime for ‘DECADES , their crimes in our nation from the South to North, East to West had been Colossal.
All under the guidance or under their noses of the Politicians and the Superiors of the tri. Party services of the security services.
Bribes, Rapes and Murders, Robberies, Drug Dealings ect , ect, ect are norms in the services.

If we need a CLEAN COUNTRY WE NEED TO GET RID OF THIS MENACE .THAT IS INVESTING ON CLEAN POLICE ,ARMY AND NAVY.
THE PRESIDENT SHOULD TAKE NOTE NOW!! Sack all the corrupt men/ women in the services and Recruit clean men and women to look after us.

How did the war started in the North / East in the 50s?? Think about it ! Who started it??????!!?? We all know , WHO????

During MaRa regime majority of the SL citizens were not given access to political realities even through media So they believed MaRa & Co as Demigods.

However the majority of the SL citizens got enlightened when MaRa prematurely called for elections at the end of 2014. So the citizens brought the regime change. Sadly the citizens are hoodwinked by the new regime . The new regime is only providing political virtual realities to the gullible majority of the citizens.

What are JVP & civic organisations doing ? Can they be critical and more proactive and show political realities to the citizens without bringing MaRa regime back to power again.

Non PhD – You are dead right and you should have got your PhD by now.
JVP, who had been questioning everything what “Yahapalanaya’ govt and MR were doing wrongly, after the govt.is formed and now maintaining silence for some reason. We heard about some differences among the ranks and do not know how far this is true. JVP has a good chance of winning the next elections if they continued their pressure on the govt. and Jnt.Op.to get them working on eradication of corruption in the country and get the convicts sent to jail during this term of office of the parliament. The Govt.does not answer people’s legitimate questions and it is time JVP and Civic orgs. take over the responsi-
bility to get answers for them from the Govt.

If JVP, under their charismatic leader Anura, maintains a high standard without getting involved in cheap communal politics, they will have the
minority votes, who tried both leading parties i.e. SLFP (MS) and UNP(RW)and failed to achieve a reasonable solution and votes of many disgruntled people of the majority race, who do not see any difference between MS and MR factions in SLFP, now. JVP faired poorly in the last elections due to the fact that JVP’ers themselves voted for MS/RW to oust MR and the situation is different now.

The President better commence with sacking his crony Rajitha Senarathna.

What are JVP & civic organisations doing ?
Ohhh !!!! the JVP, they are Rathu Ali Pataw….. They are confused or intoxicated with $$$$$$…….. Travel in Business Class singing” Sadukin Pelenawun Dan ithin Nagiti yaw” while gobbling $$$$$
Its stuck in their throats and no words come out.
They have relinquished marx & lenin and now embraced the smiling Irish eyes.

How can the president take any meaningful action against any demon while this NARIA himself is part of the whole crime gang. Remember, he ate hoppers with the formerr fox and the next day put a nife to his back….such a cunning fox.

This was the DIG who insulted the former CJ.when she was leaving her official residence after the so called Impeachment.I wonder whether he cried about this as well when he met former AG. Palitha Fernando?

Interesting to know what he, DIG Anura has to say of eye witnesses evidence as regards his presence on the road in civilian clothes near the Shalika Hall in the early hours of the day following the “Accident”. Is he going to be charged for “Murder”? Will he agree to be the “Billy Boy” to protect his “GODS”? Has he visited the “GODS” to cut a “Deal”? Perhaps his late attendance on the day fixed to appear at CID, because of his need to attend to an “urgent personnel matter” and the related visit to Gampaha could give us some clue. As some one very correctly said, this is “Ditta Dhamma Vedaneeya Karma”. Also let this leave a lasting impressing on the minds of the personnel presently attached to the Law Enforcement and know how crimes committed have to be repaid in this life itself. Hopefully the AG and the CID would present and handle this case leaving no room for this man and others responsible to “Escape”. AG and CID please fulfill that desire and expectation of the people. Thank you in advance.

Douglas, the ex DIG’s accusations are administrative of nature. So, even ‘IF’ found guilty, then he will get away with a slap on the wrist. Shame aside, pensions in check and a good life to continue. If the man is really chastened, may be he will become a Ven Monk or join the Born Again Christians, just as Felix Dias did.

As you say, a lesson to the rank and file officers, you too will be called to account for, when the weather changes.

As children and even now, we are minded that we will have to pay for our bad deeds in the next birth. In this webbed age, payback times have advanced to the here and ‘now’. I am sure, along the way someone will have a God for the Net. ‘Net-Deviyo’ kind of.

All these guys held a position of trust and were handsomely compensated for their service and if they dint do the job honestly and concealed or tampered with evidence they should lose the pension and all benefits and thrown in jail.

Yes Nangiye, time has come Rulers to go that strict – long waited.. we cant see this continue anymore. Our torment have its limits. At least one of the high crimedoers should be sent to long years of Jail.

Btw, can anybody tell me please what MR had been doing in Uganda and why the national and international journalists stay away from reporting about that ?

That was 4.5 LACKS of tax payers funds… (0.45 mio rupees).

Next days, should we the tax payers bear browel visits or condoms…. the question we raise today.

Mr.Hinniappu FYI I inform you MR went there to meet his cousin former Ambassador now fugitive Mr.Udayanga now resident in Ukraine.Mr.Udayanga originally went there to help a thriving business of Human smuggling the mastermind was from down south.Later when MR became President he was involved arms smuggling & selling his name was mentioned in buying Mig -27 SLAF at exorbitant price according to INTERPOL mentioned in papers. But this time I am sure he went there to getting done Blackmagic (Hooniyam) to topple yahapalana government.Belive me not no sooner MR returned to the country there was flash floods in the country.

But sad truth is not even a single brave journalist reported anything about his trip to Uganda yet.

            Why why ?????????????????????????????????????????????

Most of all, Journalists are still that scared of Rajaakshe under world thugs if they would reveal the truth to the nation ? Calling spade a spade or any other deals as JVP is used to add whenever the situation is being asked to explain ?

I wonder if this man got a certificate from an equally corrupt doctor and being treated with utmost comfort and care in the remand hospital. Then he will be bailed out and then go and live happily ever after. So many others with clout have so far done just that.

Is waiting for justice in this Thajudeen Murder case after arrest of Anura Senanayake a sure thing? No way people. This Man was a powerful thug and the cats paw of the Rajapaksa regime and family. This fellow was Gotas right hand enforcer, the Commander of the white Van Abduction and Murder brigade. His many cover ups and poltical murders under the guise of law enforcement, when many accused just were murdered while been taken to the scene of their crimes. They either were shot trying to escape , commited suicide and drowned or simply vanished . Please ask any right thinking citizen how this man became a multimillionare with Ownership of “Bake House” a million Rupeee Bussiness , Coconut properties, Houses and wealth beyond what an ordinary cop could dream of. He says he made money by selling a cassette of some stupid Kiriili song he sings that no one seems to care about, so gives he the proceeds of this sale to a Police fund to cover up his vile deeds Our only hope and prayers is to the upright Judges, the A.G. department and the CID Police officers to show how real justice can still prevail in this land of ours by bringing these Criminals to face the real judges who are the citizens of our country. My Poor Thajudeens soul rest in Peace.

Whatever said and done, such a high ranker being taken into custody for a charge such as that; it is a real disgrace to the entire Police Force.

When will all such national disgraces end?

Has the UNP CID locked up the ex DIG in the same cell with Potta Naufer?..

These are the brave Police Personnel who protected the civilians from the Pathalaya, who had taken charge of the South, when Mr Pirahaparan was taking care of the North and the East.

And this is the treatment they get from Yahapalanaya.

A Senior Navy Officer, who was on the podium next to the Governor of the East was physically threatened by the Wahabi CM, in front of the distinguished guests.

THe CM pushed his rude finger in to this Officer’s chest, and told him to get off the podium in the most threatening manner.

What a sad state these brave Officers have been brought down to, by Batalanda’s Yahapalanya .

Bodhi Sira who is the Commander in Chief has become a ponnaya .

I can understand if a Vellala CM gave this treatment to a Navy Officer.

But these Wahabi monkeys who were hiding behind these Army Officers when they were getting thrashed by the Tigers, have now become King Dicks,

And Yahapalana suckers seem to be delighted.

The name Anura Senanayake rings a bell. When Mohammed Siyam was murdered, it appeared a mystery. But then it was reported that Jarapassa had tersely barked at Anura Senanayake, who was the DIG of the area to unravel the mystery. Out came the bravado of yet another DIG Vass Gunawardena and his son who is supposed await their doomsday.

It is certain now that the young sportsman,Thajudeen, a father of a kid, was done away with and he met with no accident as it was widely reported. The bogey of an accident, it is reported, is a concoction of Anura Senanayake. Clearly Anura knew all the dirty tricks of everybody involved in high profile crime. As seen he can either cover up or expose. Even doctors apparently were either fooled or followed the dictates of the likes of Anura Senanayake. His presence in his personal capacity near the site of accident baffles every one of us. If higher ups were involved and Anura only aided them then there is no necessity for him to be anywhere near the site, he has to give directions to his subordinates like he did before. Obviously he was watching on the sly. For what? Let the mystery slowly but surely unravel it self.

This is not new. The police force had been stinking from day one.
There was DIG Lawrence and SSP Joseph who were Premadasa’s murders.
I am sure their families know very well what their fathers did in the 1990’s

SSP Joseph’s children and wife live overseas so they don’t have to face the brunt of the horrible stuff done. Their arrogance is still sky high. Bloody disgrace.

He needs to be kept long enough in jail so as to get him to reveal who gave him the orders. This arrest puts the investigators one step away from the true culprits behind all the ghastly murders. The Rajapakshes are now one step from getting caught.
