He was never the
first to shoot
first to kill
first to flee
first to return
first to con
first to perform miracles
first to molest democracy
first to squeeze the breast
of rule of law
and smile innocuously.
He will not be the last too.
He was always
somewhere in the middle,
in the middle of a shady deal
called ‘Politics’,
in the middle of a 21 million tombstones
called ‘citizenry’,
in the middle of the last breath
of justice,
in the middle of a forgetful history
that always repeats itself
as a farce.
Sri Lankan Parliamentarian, R. Duminda Silva (C) smiles as his father Premalal (L) and brother (R) looks on at his private residence in Pelawatta, suburb Colombo, Sri Lanka, 27 April 2013. Member of Parliament of the ruling United Peoples Freedom Alliance from the Colombo district, Silva is an alleged suspect in the death of former Parliamentarian and trade union stalwart Bharatha Lakshman Premachandra on 08 October 2011 during an election campaign. Silva sustained gunshot injuries in the incident.

You Idiot
This happens everywhere in the world. DS is just a suspect of an on going case and you can not deny his FRs till he is convicted in a court. Further there are many eye witnesses to prove that he was the first to shot at and when it is proved he will be acquitted soon. Just wait and see without fooling around.

Lovely sunglasses for a despicable monkey. Brings me memories of Colombian drug lord, Pablo Escobar.
Only possible in Wonder of Asia. Killed 4 people in broad daylight. Was secretly smuggled out of the country on a private jet. Kept in a luxury hospital suite. Given bail on utter lies making a mockery of the judiciary.
He has already mingled with the President. On the way home been to a temple as well. And will eventually be aquitted.
People who contributed to this multiple killer’s release will live to repent.

In deed. This is an insult to all Sri Lankans.
Duminda Silva, his lawyers and Rajapassa who backed him fooled the whole country. All of us. Treated us like idiots.
There is no doubt they take citizens of this country to be helpless jokers.

There you go, again!
“Duminda Silva, his lawyers and Rajapassa who backed him fooled the whole country. All of us. Treated us like idiots.” They didn’t fool “the whole country,” however their treating you like an idiot was completely justified given what you keep saying!

He looks like a well fed pig. What an imbecile , not worth a pinch of salt to be in the Journals. A bane to SL and its citizenry. Those who were instrumental in defending him, even the Lawyers( to me who are professional liars)will savor the sweet arm of repurcussion.
Nature will take its own course… He wont have a place to run. Sadly we have a President who gives blessings to this kind of lunatics… Where is the Justice for a ” Presidential’Advisor” PPL who are advisor’s of any sort need to sit back and think of their plight IF they come under the bullet…

We have not hit the bottom yet. The tomb stones are begining to wake up, albeit slowly. Put your ear to the ground to hear the faint sounds. It will not be the assumed eternal slumber for long. It is not only the belt tightening that is hurting but also the pains of an awakening national conscience.

He may be laughing at us, because, he has fooled all Sri Lankans! Now he is free again to rape girls! Kill voters! and smuggle drugs! He will never be caught – he has his MR and GR behind him! Wait and see he will show his COLOURS again!
/

DODU, why not we find a way to stop these things from happenning? Is there a way forward? There is. Let us put pressure on all political leaders who don’t agree with what is happenning to unite at least to change thsi regime and the system. Then let them even fight each other. That is better than what we have now.

Remorseless and unremittingly cocky Duminda Silva and the prevailing Mafia ethos in the country in which he is thriving only brings to my mind the character Tony Montana and the violent, criminal milieu depicted in the film Scarface (1983). Here’s a sampling from the great script written by Oliver Stone. The lines are spoken by the main protagonist Tony Montana and resonates eerily with the ruthless, devil-may-care attitude of Duminda:
“This is paradise. This is paradise, I’m tellin’ you. This town’s like a great big pussy just waitin’ to get fucked. I’m tellin’ you.
What you lookin’ at? You all a bunch of fuckin’ assholes. You know why? You don’t have the guts to be what you wanna be? You need people like me. You need people like me so you can point your fuckin’ fingers and say, “That’s the bad guy.” So… what that make you? Good? You’re not good. You just know how to hide, how to lie. Me, I don’t have that problem. Me, I always tell the truth. Even when I lie. Come on. The last time you gonna see a bad guy like this again, let me tell you. Come on. Make way for the bad guy. There’s a bad guy comin’ through! Better get outta his way!
I never fucked anybody over in my life who didn’t have it coming to them. You got that? All I have in this world is my balls and my word and I don’t break them for no one. Do you understand? That piece of shit up there, I never liked him, I never trusted him. But that’s history. I’m here, he’s not. Do you wanna go on with me, you say it. You don’t, then you make a move.
Hey! You think you can take me? You need a fuckin’ army if you’re gonna take me! You hear? C’mon! I’ll take you all to fuckin’ Hell! Come on! Come on! Come to me! Okay! Who you think you fuckin’ with? I’m [Duminda]… You fuck with me, you fuckin’ with the best! Come on! I’m still standin’, Go ahead! I take your fuckin’ bullet! You think you kill me with bullets? I take your fuckin’ bullets! Go ahead!”

This proves beyond doubt that there is no rule of law in Sri Lanka and its the rule of Rajapakse. Further on the day when the Sec. Gen of Commonwealth informed the world that the rule of law in Sri Lanka is on the mend this criminal has been released on bail and above all visited the President showing the whole world that he is above law and that the President of the country is on his side. The Sec Gen if he has an iota of respect should resign based on this alone. By accepting the visit Rajapakse has sent a message to the Judiciary, which is in the hip pocket of Rajapakse, that no one can touch this criminal. This is what happens when the Judiciary is headed by a Cheap Justice and not a Chief Justice. Further only at the beginning of this month the court was informed that this criminal cannot attend courts as he is not in a proper state of mind. However, may be the miracle of the prayers of Bodu Bala Sena, he got cured overnight after the bail was granted. Only in Sri Lanka, sorry its no more Sri Lanka, its Lanka as freedom or rule of law is not there, this can happen. Are we all LANKANS SO STUPID?
/
Siri / April 28, 2013
Rajapakshe is playing with lanken crime investigations.
This people were well aware, but now it is further clear that he is behind all these.
This murder case, britsh tourist murder case and the waragoda PC MP killing were all biased investigations with the approval of noneother than president of SRILANKA.
This is why I am telling that MR is playing with lanken people.
If the people cant grasph is today- when will then be ? Enough is enough

punchinilame / April 28, 2013
Worldclasstamils.com has this piece:-
“Here is one for Rajapaksa to think over and about. A murder suspect wanted to hire a world famous criminal lawyer.
Lawyer: What are you here for?
Defendant: I hear you are the best, will you represent me?
Lawyer: What are the charges?
Defendant: 1st Degree murder Sir.
Lawyer; I am too expensive, can you afford.
Defendant: any amount you demand sir.
Lawyer: let’s start, did you kill that person?
Defendant. NO SIR.
Lawyer: You don’t need me.
Mahinda Aiya, you are lawyer, did you get the message? You don’t need the GREAT LIAR Peiris to defend you.
Mahinda Rajapaksa is the biggest and greatest obstruction to investigations, adjudication and Justice in Sri Lanka. He is turning a blind eye to almost all crimes why? Because he is the man behind all these crimes. If he allows United Nations to investigate he will definitely be found as the root and primary cause of all murders.
He wants his son to succeed him so that he will never be hauled before a criminal justice commission. He has all possible avenues worked out within Sri Lanka, like Robert Mugabe, he is safe as long he stays within Sri Lanka and stay in power.
But the problem is Mahinda never considered the outside world; he thought China will protect him.
It appears that China is slowly distancing away from him. All evidences point toward Mahinda Rajapaksa as the prime suspect in almost all murders that happened in Sri Lanka.”

Good to see that there are still some analytically thinking people are lef in our country. If I could add a little more…..
Sri Lanka’s Kasippu business is a 10,000 Billion Tax Free illicit business now run by the elete Mafia Cartel.
Once you increase the price of a bottle of chiep Gal arrack which is made out of Eau De Toilette….people automatically shift to Tax free cheap Kasippu which now has monopolise Sri Lanka’s illicit Liquor business.
Sri Lanka’s Drug business is 5,000 Billion Rupee business also now monopolised by the elete Drug Mafioso.
Sri Lanka’s Ganja business and the Heroin business also monopolised by the same cartel.
Sri Lanka’s Casino, Massage parlors, strip and night clubs, and casino clubs are all under the patronage of the same Cartel.
Once Drug business helped Mexico to cover it’s Budget deficit may be now copying now by our elete.
So put the dots together and see how everything fits in. Each serves the other.
Also never ever forget to visit “Pansala” Temple and give dana and santhosam, as that’s the rubber stamp to survive in Sri Lanka Politics.
Yes I totally agree and see in the above clip that we still have some selected 20 odd Million Lions running after left over Free Dana “Banis” Buns and bones given by the above cartel. That’s the key to success in Sri Lanka. Give bones to suceed.

Can’t understand why you guys get your Pressure up.
This idiot is an ex UNP scumbag with money and a MP.
His enemy was a lesser scumbag who took the fight up to him and got killed.
They didn’t kill any innocent women, children or grandpas.
They didn’t plant suicide bombs.
So what is the problem?

How can you ? while you and your ilk rather support them to continue all these abuses ? So long you and your ilk are the majority, nothing can change in the home land. Rulers can twist the mind of you and your ilk are very easy so long there is no powerful opposition there. Why you guys not seem to make efforts to understand the reality is my question.

Hello Sumane
Agree. Duminda is an idiot. And you are not far behind my friend.
Let us analyse your “Rajapassa Shoe Polish Theory” a bit more.
Scumbags, their cronies, henchmen, bodyguards & Police Buddies can roam around. In 4 wheel driven, fuel drinking vehicels provided by tax payers of a povery stricken Sri Lanka. Just recovering from a 30 year long civil war.
If these Scumbags massacre each other with automatic weapons, in broad daylight, in public spaces, it should not be a law and order issue. As long as they don’t kill any “innocent women, children or grandpas”. Or “plant suicide bombs”.
In such a situation just fool the country with false propaganda about injuries. Intimidate witnesses. Get bail on utter lies via corrupt lawyers. Make a mockery of the judiciary. Mingle with the President & his powerful Bro. Get aquitted.
Not a bad Bootlicker theory for die hard Rajpassa henchman.
Suba Anagathayak! In Wonder of Asia.

It is those scumbugs like you who eat those left over “Banis” buns that cannot see the real picture.
Did you see the first pictures they published few days ago in the media like 2/3 of the head been patched and balled. What happened that head.
Who is the doctor who wrote Duminda’s Bed ticket.
Who is the Lawyer who duped the Judge on Duminda’s condition.
What the hell he was doing in a Singapore Hospital for over One and a half years. Who he trying to smoke.

I am compelled to feel today – president of the current regime is the key catalyst to all kind of crimes that have been on a rise in SL today.
If he could manage to proivde the environment all heavy crimes to investigate properly not supporting the crime doers further. Our people and IC would respect him as a leader. If not he would realize this, sooner things will see its way very bad for his future. Now those who never suspect him as a war criminal, have now been changing their minds. I also believe, Rajapkshes are the curse for the ISLAND nation. R2P will be the soltuion, I believe. Sooner or later, that will be the case, since prima facie evidence have been neglected by MR and his authorities, whatever crimes have been investigated in his terms

Ben Hurling & Mahela,
Why are you stressing out about things beyond your control?.
Bad thoughts are bad for you health.
Instead why don’t you focus on things that bring up good thoughts and good health.
Right now your ex boss liberator is looking for sponsors to give 5000 Kids in Killinochchi and Mullativ a decent education.
All he wants is 10 bucks a child per month.
These kids mind you ,are the children of the Liberation fighters who paved the way to your comfy lives,
Why don’t you help them too while trying to help the UNP and TNA to roll Rajapaksas.
Ten bucks is just three Lattes in Toronto and perhaps Two in Melbourne and in London.
It will also help to cut down your Calories as well as Cholesterol.
