Had they been no authorities to help the previous regime handling the vehicles ?
So called self proclaimed magi men to have gone wrong int hat management but to own ablities to eliminate terror as the intoxicated folks even today believe- is not comprehensible to me.
If a person is good at something – he should also good at the things that fall under to the former category. Right ?
But these magical men not tohave records or capablities to handle vehicles and the regulations related to vehicles prove us all – winning the war against could also be a co incidence of everything. That was marketed by the abusive men to blood suck the own folks.

why not? when mass murderers, rapists, looters, rioters and war criminals walk free by the thousands since the 1950s this isn’t too surprising. What are the former JVP Sinhala terrorists up to nowadays? They have their own political party! Too bad Tamil terrorists weren’t given the same privilege; instead they are rotting in unmarked mass graves or languishing in prisons as political prisoners. That’s Sinhala Lanka for you!

This is the nature of Politics in SriLanka. This is a good example of how Sinhalese politicians cheat Sinhalese. Karuna was responsible for most of the massacres happened to Sinhalese and Muslims. But when he moved to the side of Sinhalese, he was responsible for most of the killings of Tamils and Tamil leadership.Sinhalese political leadership gave monetary and armory support to LTTE to fight Indian Army. Mahinda gave billions to LTTE to fight Sinhalese army. The true beneficiaries are Sinhalese political leadership. The true loss are to the Sinhalese masses. The real loss to the Nation is peace.

What about the Muslims home guards Sinhalese thugs hooligans and the STF who killed raped looted and ethnically cleansed thousands of Tamils in the east? The Sri Lankan Armed forces who deliberately killed over 145000 innocent Tamil civilians in the north in 2009 and the Generals ministers and the Rajapakse government who ordered this? Your current president wants all them absolved of war crimes and treated as heroes for killing raping looting and ethnically cleansing innocent Tamil civilians and is writing letters to the incoming USA president Donald Frump and the UN with regards to this. This means killing Tamils is heroic and will not be punished but if a Tamil does anything he will be severely punished.
Karuna deserves what he gets and so do all the others not just him just because he is Tamil but the other perpetrators of larger crimes against humanity allowed to go scot free just because they are Sinhalese or Muslims.
So far not a single single Sinhalese or Muslim has ever been punished for all the crimes and violence against Tamils that has been perpetrated since the 1950s. This smacks of one rule for the Tamils and another for every one else

However, when looking at it from another angle it was Ranil W who showed Karuna that there was a much better life to lead by arranging the so called Peace talks in Bangkok. Apparently Karuna had been banging his way in Bangkok in between these talks. Also, Karuna leaving the LTTE helped the Army to clear the East much faster than expected which also saved many security forces lives.

Point to ponder: I am dead against Karuna, his friends and LTTE. Karuna was the first to leave LTTE and join the Government which gave the first breakthrough to the armed forces to move forward and weaken LTTE stronghold. In such a scenario, when the President is protecting armed force members from appearing before the courts for the illegal activities they committed, will the President also protect Karuna? Further, when every one who were brought before the courts has been given bail, why not Pillayan? I am totally confused? Is racism at play here?
Now those who want to attack me, I am not a supporter of Karuna, Pillayan or LTTE, for that matter not even the armed forces if they have committed crime.

800 Million SLR that is equal to over 5 million USD, what kind of vehicle is it?
/
BBS Rep / November 30, 2016
Good question. To armour a civilian vehicle costs only between US200,000 to US500,000 (http://www.texasarmoring.com/texas_armoring_faq.html). The South African built Marauder – slightly bigger than a Humvee is only GBP300,000 (http://www.topgear.com/car-news/list/six-more-bulletproof-cars-you-can-buy).
So either the arms dealer took our modayas for a ride with the pricing or someone pocketed the US$ millions as kickbacks. Knowing the level of greed of our politicians, the latter was the most probable scenario.

I would call Karuna a SPHINX in the Greek tradition, real but not mythical!
It is mysticised as treacherous and merciless.
Karuna is generally translated[In both Sanskrit and Pali] as Compassion in the Buddhist tradition. So,when the LTTE had given the nom de plume-Karuna to young Muralitharan they must have had the gut feeling this indeed is anything but the Karuna in the Buddhist tradition!
The Police lead him to his cell[Most probably his Temporary abode],though he was treacherous and merciless towards those 600 odd Policeman,in the 90s.

Karunai is a Tamil word and not Sanskrit or Pali.
Sanskrit has a peculiar habit of claiming every Tamil word as its own and offering a fancy etymology for it. With the media under its service, word is spread throughout the world claiming ownership of any word.At
word.at
one point of time ,it claimed that even the word ‘Tamil’ is derived from Sanskrit ! It also claimed that Tamil word ‘Mukham’ is from Sanskrit as if Tamil did not have word for such a basic organ like face ! As Tamil scholars could not refute any claim for want of media space, the false propaganda went on.
People were made to believe that inter-alia, the following words are Sanskrit.
•Veda
•Puja
•Homkund
•Guru
•Sundar
•Diwali
•Sanskrit
•Many more
In this line, is the word Karuna ‘Karunanithi’, which is never found among north Indians. You don’t come across a Karunanithi Chopra,Mehra or like !Why?Because it is not a Sanskrit name !Sundar is a similar name believed to be Sanskrit but proved to be Tamil vide What is the real etymology of the word ‘Sundar’?
Here is an explanation:
Karunai means ‘Kirubai’ in Tamil
. Compassion, grace, be nignity, kindness, tenderness,
clemency, கிருபை,
Wils. p. 194. KARUN’A. 2. A plant having an esculent root, or white yam, , Dracontium polyphyllum.
Karuna Kadathcham,
s. A propitious glance, a gracious look,
Karunakaran,
s. The seat of clemen cy, one who is very gracious,Karaunai pirakumidam.
Karunakaran,
s. The Deity, lit. he who is the seat of grace, God.
Karunanidhi,
s. A jewel of grace, or one who is rich in grace,
Karunamoorthi,
s. The gracious one –as the Deity,God.
Karunalayam,
s. The abode of benev olence,
Kaurnalayn,
s. Deity who is the seat of benevolence, gad
Karunai Kilangus. The bulb or root of theplant.
As against such clear Tamil etymology,Sanskrit does not have any proof to offer but only just claim ownership.
Natkarunai( sacrament of lord’s supper Christian usange)
So the word is clearly Tamil only. Please also read Tamil and Sanskrit for more such revelations.

Mallaiyuran / November 30, 2016
It is interesting to note that Kurunai in Tamil is Grace where Karma, in Buddhism like areas, meaning sin. One base words are generating both opposite meaning.
Tamil Karumam is both – good and bad works. In fact the word karumam does do not indicate which way it is points. It is pretty neutral. Simply, it is work or deed. It is the same with Vinai. Vinai too, latter interpreted, when the contemporary Hinduism religious idea started to emerge, as the wage of the bad act. But Vinai is simply “doing” or “Deed”. It is also pretty neutral.
The problem is created by Sanskrit. It has a biased sense of a religious notation for all words. So when the Sanskrit influence started to appear the Karumam and Vinai turned out to be negative words.
It appears the Karunai might have started even before the Sanskrit was born. It is in the positive side but the Sanskrit influenced Karumam became negative. In any case Karunai and Karumam both are deeds, one is good, that is Grace and other one is bad, that is sin.
Even on the religious part, Saiva siddantham is not identifying that Karma is as only sin. It is saying any deed and it is all deed is detrimental to the soul’s maturity. Deed, again, defined all; the hand and mind actions, but the priority or importance is given to mind. That is highly correlated with Karunai- which is mainly the grace of the mind, though it can be material action too.
It is pretty difficult to accept for other religions that Karunai, the grace, is equally as bad as sin. So the contemporary Hinduism which has drawn idea from the eventual Buddhism too, started to treat Karumam is only sin, no grace is part of it. But Buddha, as Nirvani, completely cut off all good and bad deeds to achieve his Nirvana. But the eventual Southern Bakthi Markam is tilting toward good deeds to achieve Nirvana. The founder of Bakthi markam, Thirunavukkarasar stayed dedicated to good deeds-“thondu”.
Sanskrit which brought its other half from West was not completely ready to accept the Dravidian Rig Veda philosophies. It had brought with it the worshiping of planet gods, Indra, fire, air, sky..etc. Rig Veda was a pure Dravidian Brahminical Philosophy. Like the Dravidian epics of Mahabharata and Ramayana were flexed to represent Aryan values, Rig Veda too was flexed a lot to carry Aryan values. Many of these Brahmins were called Siva in Indus Valley (Pasupathi).
Periyavan ends with “N”. Masculin. Brahma doesn’t. It ends with “ma”. Feminine. It is likely when Sanskrit picked up Periyan from Tamil, it took the feminine word without feeling the gender presence. But Rig Veda is still holding to the masculine gender Brahman, too. This is telling why there is no temple for Brahma, who eventual Aryan Literatures telling as Father of Brahmins, But Siva(s) who were the actual Indus Valley Brahmins, have been depicted even as early as in Indus Valley clay seals. This is very interesting to see here again Sanskrit is confusing the opposite genders of the Tamil word like the way it is confusing on the word Karumam. This is the teething problem of birth a language (Sanskrit). We see this in Sinhala too. If you look at the word Govigama- it is talking about two divisions of Vella castes, but the Tamil equivalent Kamakaran – farmer is clearly mentioning the second half.

This is again in relation to a vehicle valued at Rs 800 million. Now how about expediting investigations on the loss of Rs. 4012 millions paid out for a project named “Nilwala Development”. As in the case of RDA withdrew funds amounting to Rs. 282 millions to build houses for Tsunami affected families and not a single dwelling was built but no one knows where the money has gone; in this “Nilwala Development” too Rs. 4012 millions have gone out of the Treasury without a trace and no work has yet started even. In this case the court has given permission to examine the Bank Account at Bank of Ceylon where the depositing and withdrawals have been made. A Chinese Company and the relevant Ministry viz. the Irrigation and Water Resources are the parties involved in this transaction. Now even the ex President and the then Finance Minister, MR from China has requested an immediate inquiry into the matter. Why such an INTEREST and HURRY? The, then Minister responsible and accountable for this loss of huge sum of Public Funds (Rs 4102 millions) was none other than the present Minister of Transport, Mr. Siripala de Silva. So, in the same way this ex Minister and DIG have been taken into custody, let us see how the present Minister of Transport would be dealt with in this case of a loss of Rs. 4012 millions? Mr. President just as much as you want to know and “feel concerned” of pursuing these “vehicle thefts”; we believe you would PUSH the FCID to take up this case of a loss of Rs 4012 millions without any delay. We are informed by YOU about this THEFT in Galle and hope you would take a lead in making an immediate attempt to find and punish those responsible and accountable.

“During the reign of Kavantissa (2nd century B.C.) the Kingdom of Ruhuna was threatened by invaders. The king had to evolve a strategy to prevent a disaster. He was very well aware that there was a buffer state of Seru on the north eastern seaboard of Sri Lanka which was ruled by a prince by the name of Siva. The King finally had been able to solve the problem avoiding military confrontation and as a result he had to build a Stupa at Seruwila.” UNESCO
Has Malwattu Thero ever visited Nagadeepa and Seruvila?
Sumane, Kavanthu – is guardianship. Kavanthesan or காவாந்தேசன். (The guardian of the land) made a deal with another Tamil Siva, Probability a Chieftain, and built the stupa on Tamils land, as per UNESCO. Further it it was built by Tamil labour only. Where did UNESCO got this? May be in some Pali literatures. After all UNESCO has not given any eidneces for the official was built by King Kanavathesan. In the 2nd century some south Indian Kings were Jains and some could be Buddhist too. Apparently the North of Ceylon was in Buddhism. Buddha lived 800 years before that. UNESCO has not offered any evidence of Buddha had visited to that place. It is not said why Kavanthesan built it there. The UNESCO statement is saying to build a great wall to stop invasion this king Built a Stupa. When the men were in need of stop invasion, this king brought them here built a temple. That part is telling the UNESCO does not know the truth here but just repeating something that was said somewhere else by a Sinhala Buddhist. 1912 this was accidently discovered by a monk and the Sinhala Buddhist rebuilt it. In reality about 100 years ago temple was built on place where from 1700 years to up to a 25 years ago Tamils lived.
Lets come to the reality now. Two Tamil Kings built a temple on that area. They Both could have been Buddhists. It is a Tamils only story.
Then let’s come to your part. Why do you think that each and every Sinhala Buddhist should have visited? Is that the Mecca of Buddhist. When did go there? Where did you the Buddha’s footprint in Thaara-valavu(Duck land -Seruvil). Or are you giving an explanation that Buddha walking only up to Sigiriya only and he was flying to Thaara Valavu so you did not see any footprint there. What kind of claim you have on Thaara Valavu?

They raise their hand cuffed hands, recent one being by Karuna Amman, and offer a broad smile in jubilation, when they are taken in Prison vans.
There is a reason for it as once they are bailed out, there are on their own, carry on with what ever ‘jobs’ they were doing before, even
anti govt. activities,as their cases fizzle out without proper evi-
dence. We learnt that Karuna Amman is now upgraded to a VIP suite in the prison for the services rendered to the general public.
Once they are out on bail, their files collect dust at FCID/CID. and
slowly vanish in thin air. That is the state of our judiciary today,
which is supposed to perform independently & fearlessly.
