An alleged suspect in the killing of former Parliamentarian Bharatha Lakshman Premachandra on 08 October 2011 during an election campaign Duminda Silva’s website posted an inserting video clip with the text below;
” MP R. Dumindha Silva who sustained grievous gunshot injuries to his head left the Nawaloka hospital in Colombo at around 11.30 this morning. A large crowd of well wishers kept thronging to the hospital since early this morning in order to witness the departure of MP R. Dumindha Silva.MP R. Dumindha Silva who was admitted to a hospital in Singapore arrived in the island on the 5th of March & was subsequently admitted to the Nawaloka hospital in Colombo.The security detail in charge of MP R. Dumindha Silva’s safety are said to have put in a large effort to contain the overwhelming number of well wishers & escort MP. R. Dumindha Silva out of hospital.Expressing his views to the Media prior to his departure MP R. Dumindha Silva added that he was heading towards the Presidential Palace in order to receive the blessings of President Mahinda Rajapaksa.”

Soon after the killing of Bahratha Lakskman, Duminda was rushed to Sri Jayawardenepura Hospital by none other than Gotabaya Rajapaksa, who remained in the Hospital for over four hours making arrangement of cordoning with STF not to allow any to visit DS other than the family. Even the Board of Management at the SJH was changed to guard the secret that DS had no gunshot injuries, while news of him being operated for a head injury was advertised for public consumption. It took a few weeks till one day no less a person than MR himself visiting SJH and the following day DS was flown to Singapore for supposed further treatment. The truth as all can see now is that this bugger DS has had no gun shot injuries whatsoever. It is for this reason that the Magistrate did not visit under orders from Gota to examine DS when he was at the SJH, but issued a warrent long afterwards when he was in Singapore. Now this DS who is half paralised and mentally demented, no sooner he is given bail, claims that he is fit enough once again to continue from where he stopped. Does he look that he has ever been shot in the head to sustain injury to act in the manner he did with his interview of stating that he was on his way to see his God Father MR before going home. Thank God the UNP is rid of this type of character and now they are, where they belong in their rightful place.

I have very strong feeling that Duminda was not injured at all and to get sympathy and also escape from judiciary a DUMMY was taken on a private aircraft and Duminda was having all the fun at his home in Colombo. The whole episode was organized by the Defense authorities and the whole country was fooled. The judge of the quadruple murder case should examine his skull to see whether there is a scar of a major operation and if there isn’t any scars, all those involved in giving false evidences, photos, X-rays, reports, etc. should be remanded until a full and proper investigation is carried out. Why is the Opposition silent even at this moment. Hirunika should ask her lawyers to prove that Duminda really had to undergo a major surgery. The officers who declared that Duminda has stated that he couldn’t remember anything shold also be questioned.
