I wish to bring to your attention that the Muslim Council of Sri Lanka has had no engagement or receive financial support from the Embassy of the United States or any agency affiliated to the United States of America or any other country as stated by you at the your press conference of April 22nd 2014. I wish to remind you that the Bodu Bala Sena remains charged for receiving financial support from Norway through Mr Arne Fjortoft and your Chief Executive Officer, Mr Dilanthe Withanage, which you have not denied.
The Muslim Council operates through voluntary contributions of its own members in Sri Lanka and its steering committee. I challenge you to prove that the Muslim Council has received any financial support from USA or any other. If you have any evidence, please place them before us or produce them to the relevant authorities. It is unethical to target individual members of the Muslim Council and their families to gain media attention for your nefarious causes, which is destroying the immense respect Sri Lanka has, as a Buddhist nation.
You continue to make accusations against individuals and organizations, hiding yourself behind the sacred robe, which is respected by all Sri Lankans.
The hate campaign spearheaded by you and other Buddhist priests against minority communities is contrary to the principles espoused by the noble Gautama Buddha and Buddhism.
Your continued accusations against Islam and Muslims are destroying the image of Buddhism and the peace and harmony that has existed between our communities for centuries.

You didn’t get my point: Koran tells Muslims that believers are a brotherhood and non-believers are not their equals. Koran compares non-believers to animals. Koran also urge Muslims to treat non-Muslims unjustly and even kill them. I asked you a simple question about the validity of it for today in a humble way. Instead of answering it, you talked about defects of the American democracy.
For one thing, democracy hadn’t come from the creator God. Indeed it is hard to reconcile principles of democracy and the words of the creator God. True, different people have different understanding of democracy. But everyone wants to improve democracy to the betterment of all living beings. The word of God however is fixed and cannot be changed. And that’s the problem.
I never condoned American crime of dropping the Atomic bombs on Japan or massacres in Mai Lai and other cities in Vietnam, or atrocities committed in Iraq and Afghanistan or drone attacks on civilians in Pakistan or underhand arming of the terrorists in Libya or British bombing of Germany’s Dresden after the surrender and etc.
You can talk about Mullah’s lengthy training and even commitment to Allah. The fact that Mullah is totally brainwashed is beside the point to me. I’d like to talk about the racist and bigoted words that came through Muhammad’s mouth as the word of God that Mullahs try to justify.

Why is the Muslim Council and the Shura council going on the defensive? If these organizations are serious about the welfare of the Muslims or any other minority they represent, this council should be going on the offensive against these BBS-TERRORISTS who are supported and funded by the Government of Sri Lanka. Matter of fact, the US State Department has very courageously come forward with military, law enforcement and logistic assistance in response to pressure from several Islamic and Middle Eastern civil liberties organizations that are now blaming the US government’s inaction against social injustice that is happening here. TRAC, an independent watch dog is one organization that very correctly black listed the BBS not only as a terrorist organization but also as “Buddhist terror group” that make Buddhists like myself ashamed of our heritage. All this as a result of a few misguided “THIRISANNU” that identify themselves as Buddhists.

Just imagine then how about the fate of innocent Tamils and Muslims who face the agony of language problem in the Police stations and the government offices.

Time someone stood up to these terrorists and confronted them about the lies and bigoted statements they keep making. If anyone is in the payroll of foreign entities it is the BBS. They were allowed to enter the US and Norway without difficulty, so really, the question should be asked of them. They have got away with all the BS, and ignorant remarks, and no one seems to confront them, therefore they keep going on, without fear or shame.

It is good to hear that desire of Muslim Council is to ‘discuss and solve any issues that confront by discussion amongst us. It is also a good thing that ‘Muslim council’ has written that Sri Lanka is a “Buddhist nation” and reminding us (Buddhists) the need to respect “the principles espoused by the noble Gautama Buddha and Buddhism.” If all the Muslims (Wahabis, Salafis and other Muslim extremists) accept that, half the problem between Sinhalas and Muslims is over.
Reading the comments by Muslims (with Sinhala names [permitted under taqiyya and kitman?] here), there appears one problem. Muslim ‘Koran’ tells its followers that unbelievers are not equal to Muslims. And Allah doesn’t allow non-Muslims to triumph over the Muslims. (Koran 45:21 & 4:141) And what does that means? Does it not mean, Muslims can never be loyal to the government of “Buddhist Nation”?

If a person who knows the value the human being the democratic values and the importance of religion will know that the BBS is gropping in the dark in a very irresponsible manner to created hatred against Muslims in a calculated way with ulterior motive
I take this opportunity to reproduce a news report from the Island of 29.04.2014 I presume which will help the law abiding people to know the official version about Wilpattu.
As of now Sri Lanka is heading towards a country where all its affairs are decided on a communal basis. The interim and immediate culmination of these impunity has proved that:
Sri Lanka has two types of citizenry. First class for majority people which is not to be seen under any other democracy
A section of the Buddhist Monks with the tacit supports of the rulers are above the Law.

Mannar Divisional Secretary S. Keetheswaran, refuting allegations by the Bodu Bala Sena (BBS) that Muslim families driven out of the Musali Pradeshiya Sabha Division by the LTTE in 1990, had recently encroached on the Wilpattu National Park, said that it was a Presidential Task Force (PTF) Committee established in terms of the Lessons Learnt and Reconciliation Commission (LLRC) that had identified the location for their resettlement.
Unnecessary tension and conflict could have been avoided, if an attempt had been made to examine the Survey Department Plans and the decisions taken by the PTF Committee headed by the Secretary to the Ministry of Resettlement, to identify land for Internally Displaced Persons, in terms of the LLRC’s recommendations, Keetheswaran said, pointing out that the Committee’s deliberations had been endorsed by representatives of the Land Commission, the Forest Department, the Wildlife Department, Survey Department, the Army, the Navy, the Central Environmental Authority, the Agriculture and Land Ministry, the Government Agent and the respective Divisional Secretaries. “We had several rounds of discussions and undertook two field visits prior to recommending on January 2, 2013 that the Muslims who were evicted from the Musali Pradeshiya Division in Mannar by the LTTE be allocated land on the following basis – Marichchikkatti (100 acres), Palaikuli (100 acres) and Karadikkuli (80 acres).”
The Divisional Secretary said that the population in Musali Division in 1990 comprised Muslims (84 percent) Tamils (13.4 percent) and Sinhalese (2.6 percent). When state lands were alienated in 1995 the original Muslim inhabitants evicted in 1990 were living temporarily in various parts of the country including in camps in Puttalam.
In Mullikulam around 700 acres of land were taken over by the Navy for security purposes. Those who lived in Mullikulam were relocated in Kayakkuli village. In order to resettle the Sinhalese comprising 2.6 percent of the total number evicted in 1984 and their natural increase, 378 acres had been allocated after clearing the scrub forest that had grown, he observed.
However, 73 families from Marikkarthevu Marichchikkatti who were not accommodated had put up temporary huts about one kilometre away from the Wilpattu National Park border, Keetheswaran pointed out. “We, visited them on April 4, 2014 and assured alternative land. I can certify that no part of the Wilpattu National Park has been used for any resettlement scheme including the Jasmine City Housing Project which is in fact situated in the Marichchikatti Grama Niladari Division.”

I wonder why the university profs stayed mum at the time that was allowed.
Shame to be srilanken – what happpened to the Uni senior professionals in today ´s context ? Have Hambantota mayors of colombo kind threatened on them ?
Or just lethargy, indifference and the like as seen in Dew Gunasekara, Vasudewa and the elderly men ?

Can any Muslim deny that they have not received any kind financial aid from Gadaffi of Libya and Hussain of Iraq. Didn’t they buy the coastal areas with such finance down South Sri Lanka before the Tsunami. How are they going to account for almost half the total of deaths due to Tsunami. Moreover, what is the link the Pakistanis and Bangladeshis have through Sri Lanka Muslims. How many of them are in possession of Sri Lanka National Identity Cards. How is that a Pakistani who has travelled from Sri Lanka, was arrested in connection with the Chennai Railway Station bombing? Who is funding the Islamic Organization at Kathankudy – Wahabbism from Egypt. There are many more instances.
