My Sisters Are Forcing Me To Retire From Politics, I Will Resign In Three Months: MR Tells MS

Former President Mahinda Rajapaksa who met President Maithripala Sirisena at the President’s house three days ago, informed him that he will be quitting politics for good in the next three months, as his two sisters have advised him to do so, Colombo Telegraph reliably learns.

However on the pretext of naming his sisters Preethi and Gandhini’s demands, the former President Mahinda Rajapaksa’s modus operandi is to seek protection from current President Maithripala Sirisena for himself and that of his sons and siblings a source close to Champika Ranawaka told Colombo Telegraph.

The FCID and the Bribery Commission resumed their hunt on members of the former Rajapaksa regime the day following the general elections for the acts of abuse of power, forgery, murder, fraud, corruption and malpractices during their rule of self reigned power.

The Presidential Commission of Inquiry also grilled the former Defense Secretary Gotabaya Rajapaksa for over five hours last Monday, over allegations of misusing state funds and using personnel of the state-owned security firm, Rakna Arakshaka Lanka Limited (RALL) for the presidential election campaign.

Gotabaya Rajapaksa had blurted that his older brother’s actions and continued attempts at clinging onto power is endangering himself and that of his sons Namal and Yoshitha.

“The Rajapksa’s openly swindled and ran the country in a true mafia style family operation and there is no way that they are going to get away from this” a source close to Chandrika Kumaratunga went on to tell Colombo Telegraph.

The modern Dutu Gemunu, vanquisher of all evil forces, the great builder Sri Lanka of the modern era stands exposed as a coward, trying to hide behind the sarees of his sisters.

He is not going to succeed. We now know why all that effort for a come back was made. It was not for money (he is supposed to have more than what he can spend in this life) nor for power. It is just to escape justice.

Only those who have skeletons in their own cupboards would agree to such maneuvers.

      Mahinda

It is not only your sisters, I too order you to give up politics.

You are surrounded by evil spirits. You cannot be winner anymore. You can only bring more troubles for the country.

Until the general election, I overwhelmingly supported you. I sacrificed a lot for you. You have proved that you are a real waste and must be dumped.

I have now dumped you outright.

God bless you to come out of your masona spirits soon.

How dare you “order” this satan (Mahinda Rajapakse) you held upon your shoulders for so long, to give up politics. You once celebrated his thuggery, murders, tortures, disappearances etc. on innocent fellow Sri Lankans whose only crimes were to criticise him. If you are expecting credit, forget it.

How dare you make such arrogant comment against my dear NIRMALA n.

She has the democratic right to go this way or that way. She is doing her best. It is time for her to take stock of her role and move forward to maximise her potentials.

Yes, We know soon after the defeat he would quit politics!! This Bugger betrayed the Nation and kicked out by the people in Jan. 08 and tried his level best to topple the Government (People Mandate) by all means. Later, tried to enter through back door to power also kicked in the back second time by the people.

I feel pity for Kurunagala Modayas who elected him as their MP have to look up for miracles and their plight remain so.

He might even got an assurance from Sirisena only to quit politics if his family remain safe for all the crimes they committed in hay days including the Thajudeen’s murder.

That last paragraph will mean a lot to a lot of Sri Lankans.

Ranil W and all other legislators will do well to allow investigations and the law to take their own course without interference. They were voted into power ALSO for that. Too many died, too many cried and too much was robbed to allow absolution.

Any tinkering with the normal investigative and legal processes will only underline the fact that – despite the power change, nothing has changed. We are not a modern, progressive society; only a Banana Republic.

What follows now will make or mar RANIL’s image as a respecter and protector of the Law, and as a legal man himself.

If he is to be a modern leader (which we hope he will be), then he must respect the Law and the Police.

Jarapassa will soon want all his Presidential perks back, now that he lost the elections.

I am sure that Sirisena will be happy to grant Jarapassa and his criminal family immunity for all his criminal activities, and so too will Ranil, in the name of “reconciliation” and national unity government. In the end once again the minorities and the voters will be taken for a huge ride by these morally corrupt and intellectually bankrupt “leaders” of the Sinhala Modayas.

We the people and voting public have to pay for their crimes and fun and game and wining and dinning in the Diyawenna parliament of corrupt criminals. All three – Ranil, Sirisena and Jarapassa are highly MORALLY CORRUPT and greedy for power.

These three so-called leaders are responsible for the rotten political culture of impunity for politicians in the Miracle of Modayas. Today politicians are ELITE CASTE in Sri Lanka with absolute impunity and immunity from prosecution for their crimes

MR challenged against ALL ODD’s taking the BIGGEST risk, thinking he will be victorious and even had the nerve to tell MS that He should be appointed IF the Peoples mandate was given…KNOWING VERY WELL that MS had ALREADY told him in uncertain terms..that the PM post would NEVER be given to him.

NOW that he lost, he wants to play safe and hold on to his perks as an ex President.. IF MS and RANIL interferes with the LAW and provides MR with all perks in the name of GOOD Governence.. THEY are BETRAYING A BLOCK OF 6.2 MILLION People who sent MR home and again of that total another 5.5 approx sent him to his final fall..

GREED got the worst of him..now he should savor the sweetness rather the bitterness of defeat and double defeat… and if need be he should be handed to the Hague, for crimes against HUMANITY along with his bro GOTA… EVEN though in 2009 we thought he hadn’t done wrong, now we have doubts of extra judicial killings not only of Terrorists but also of innocent civilians..too many to name…

HE MUST TASTE HIS OWN MEDICINE ! PERIOD!

If President Sirisena and Ranil do that, that will the end of the road for Sri Lanka and end of the road for them.

This is the last throw of the dice. These two persons have a great opportunity, to make or mar this land for all time. Anyone
‘reconcilliating’ with criminals and striking horse deals with them, are guilty of an even more worse a crime.

      No way!

Mahinda Rajapaksa and his family members will definitely get protection from current President Maithripala Sirisena as he himself is in a dilemma about his own protection from people like Dilan Perera who is black mailing President Sirisena. This is why Dilan and SB are going to get cabinet posts to stop them divulging what they know about President Sirisena’s past.

It is good to hear that Mahinda’s sisters have given sound advice to him.

I am sure, the Majoritiy of the SriLankans would be eager to know what
Advise or message Tony Blair has given to Mahinda, in his Lakh man Kirkharle Memorial Speech at the institute yesterday.

Then we will know how Tony Blair is going to defend Mahinda and his regime or rather Sri Lanka at the international arena.

Who knows Tony may make Mahinda as one of his international business partner!!!. It won’t be a surprise if that happens.

“No citizen, who ever it may be, shall not be immune to legal proceedings for justice” that should be the motto of Good Governance, and the actions followed by the Government shall stand up to that.
Terrorism was eradicated on that basis, since it was a threat to the Nation, but claimant eradication of terrorism, not only threw the Good Governance into the dustbin, but plundered and terrorized the Nation to sustain the plundering of National wealth – therefore such anti- national crime cannot be just overlooked whatsoever.

Where is the Bravado of MR now? Gota the other day walking into being investigated, dismissed journo’s questions, as simple issues. Yes when Gota was questioned about Lasantha, by a foreign Journalist laughed off asking who is Lasantha? The simple issues for the Rajapaksa family are murder, looting public funds, living it up at public expense etc. etc. I wonder why the Police do not bring up Dilan Perera’s forging of D.M. Jayaratne’s signature to go to the US. RW should allow the Police to investigate all these corrupt buggers who rode the high horse under MR.

MR need not quit politics but will be compelled to when he is probed. Either he will end up behind bars or will be convicted to be hung for murder.

I am worried about Dayan the war monger. Where is he planning to hide himself?

Being Dayan he will find a way out, will become the staunchest supporter of Maithiri and Ranil (to lesser extent).

MR quitting politics for good in the next three months is an insult to the 423,529 voters who voted for this war criminal. However the voters deserve it for the sole reason that they voted for him in the first place.

Good riddance if he leaves politics. But he and his family should be responsible for what they have done. Proper investigations should be conducted and punished according to the law. It should not be a political revenge. The same goes for others who would try to escape behind a ‘coalition.’

It is majority Singhalese government. So they have the right and power to protect criminals but leave us Tamils and Muslims in North and east alone. Singhalese are free to do any thing in the south, can create singhapoor or like west or even Africa or another Mexico – choice is yours and the ball is in your court. If srilanka doesn’t want us, the next option is to collaborate with India.

So he stood for election and now quitting
after getting elected? Is that right by the
voters? Of course it doesn’t matter one bit in
reality. MR was only in it to further a personal
agenda, and the stupid voting public are not
able to see beyond their noses.A happy fit as it
always has been. Another crook can easily take up
MR’s seat. After all, pretty much everyone in
Sri Lankan politics is a crook.
