We remind all Sri Lankans that this is the first time ever that a Supreme Court decision is deliberately violated by the Executive and Parliament, indicating the level to which democracy has deteriorated in our country.
We invite individuals, political parties, trade unions and civil society to join us for the People’s March on 10th January at 10 am commencing from the Superior Courts Complex. Your participation will make the national and international community realise that the public do not approve the government’s decision to ignore the Supreme Court judgement.

Why is that bloody moron Ranil Wickramasinghe still pleading with Chamal Rajapakse who is the instigator of this ‘chaotic situation’, (along with Mahinda Rajapassa), to have a meeting in parliament to resolve the mess that they jointly concocted? Ranil is only good for and still playing palace politics rather than going to the people and the streets, speaking to the people and educating them on the mess in the country?!!– As these good lawyers are doing.

Nothing said about any of it. This is just giving judiciary lock stock and barrel to MR. Worst is protests organized by few RW stooges who were given space in RW’s Platform for Freedom that closed down with the impeachment, will be allowing UNP to legitimize decision to throw out CJ on Friday 11th January, 2013 at 6.30 pm. Hope JVP and TNA not go to parliament to bear that cross. Even the govt ally CP took firm stand to dissociate with the impeachment motion debate, but not Ranil the stupid.

If the ruling politicians can act against the verdicts of the SUPREME COURTS, what can anyone expect from the ordinary citizens. They are going to create a precedent not to obey the courts! All these unwarranted and unwanted troubles and huge wastage of public funds and also the lost time is solely due to mad ideas of a few LOOTERS who were blocked by the Supreme Courts going ahead with the DIVI NEGUMA BILL which is very clear that their intentions are not to alleviate the poor masses but to spend the billions that lie to the credit of the poor Samurdhi recipients in their respective banks. I think this is going to be the beginning of the end of the looters as happened in Pakistan. Our congratulations to the very brave organisers. Continue, please continue to save the innocent Sri Lankans from the threshold of hell. Even though the CJ will not be present in person, her very brave actions and her charming and innocent smiles have paved the way for the benefit of the peace-loving Sri Lankans. She is the Jeanne d’Arc of Sri Lanka or re-incarnated Viharamahadevi of Sri Lanka or the Archangel of Sri Lanka. And so the eloquent MP Sumanthiran, who makes sure his public pronouncements are within the law and calculated to strengthen the Constitution. All of them went before the Supreme Court and got orders for the release of their properties. But the Army and the State simply ignored these. Dozens of Habeas Corpus petitions filed by Sumanthiran and other Tamil lawyers remain ignored by the SC. No surprise the calculated and imposed injustice on the Tamils is now visiting others. Reminds one of Pastor Martin Niemoller ???

It will be no surprise that the Dollar will fetch more than Rs.150 or even go up as Rs.175. There is going to be poverty and misery. At the same time there will be an erosion of religious teachings. New Year also saw an actress raped by a gang which is only a beginning. What will be the position if the Supreme Court finds the Parliamentarians guilty of contempt of court and can the parliamentarians continue in their office. The other vital issue is who has the authority to interpret the Statutes – Is it the President or the Judiciary. Will the sacredness of the constitution become a ridiculous affair. This is the crucial hour for every one to ask their conscience.

Recently RW had a trip to Italy and it is reported that the government accommodated him in a luxurious hotel at the cost of tax payers money. So he is paying his gratitude by way of fooling the masses.
He allowed JA and LK to participate in the PSC to give recognition and credibility and hoodwink us. He did not allow his men to open mouths because he was afraid that they would get the credit and popularity.
He did not allow JA and LK to go to the hearing at CA because he is hell bent on supporting the government.
He talks non-sense re a toppling the government which we don’t ask.
Now UNP at the behest of RW is going to take part in the impeachment debate only to give credibility or credence to an unholy and illegal impeachment process. UNP and all other political parties should boycott the debate.

Divineguma Bill has been passed by parliament – which means that the nothern military governer’s assent for same has been accepted on behalf of te elected members of the council – which means that any provincil council need not have elected members who are required to approve similar bills in future.
The councils have become redundant.
Is this not against the provisions of the constitution?
Does this not mean that ALL bills needing assent of provincial councils can be passed by approval of all governers who are appointed by the president whose wishes they have to carry out?
Has not the 13th amendment become a dead piece of the constitution?

How effective would the protest be if carried out only in Colombo? How effective will they be if they included only the legal fraternity and the anti-government politicians and their supporters?
To be effective, there should be a concerted effort to draw in the common people, especially in the hamlets, villagers, towns and cities. They would not come to the streets to demonstrate, however they strongly feel about this issue. Can they bang on their pots and pans at a designated time? Those in vehicles can toot their horns. If these can be made to happen and is videoed all over the island, the protest will be effective. if not, it will be a damp squib. A mass movement of people has to be mobilised, if there is to be success in changing how this country has been run and is being run. The CJ affair should be the issue that calls into question governance in this country, from independence to now.

1)President will never listen to anybody’s advise and will do whatever he wants to do……either good for the country or not..
2)Ex.CJ Sarath N Silva say as result of President going ahead with the Hedging deal eventhough he was warned by many about the repucassions, president still went ahead, and as a result CPC now have to pay over US $400 million to the banks.
3)Sarath N.Silva also said he let out President been impeached from Tsunami fraud case as he tied it up with aid giving direct to Prabhakaran……which was not the truth, but a made up case.
4)Sarath Silva also say President is a Shrude and a cunning person.
Also in subsequent video he say President always looking for high status……meaning having some type of inferior complex…..and always looking for attention from others to show his knowledge and power…….like those cutouts around Sri Lanka etc……….and ever lying to international community and India on implementing LLRC and promissing India on 13+ etc.
5)Also by sending Gen.Sarath Fonseka to Jail…..and bribing opposition MP’s to his side Sarath Silva say how President use who ever he wants at any cost to get his work done and once it’s done he would dump them (like sending gen. Fonseka to Prison after winning the war) which is part of President’s personality for only him to be popular and nobody else………..and the game plan he use to achieve this.
Also Sarath Silva say he played by limits with President, as if he had gone to advise president or not listen to him, Sarath Silva could have lost his job. So he just agreed to what President say and did what President want him to do.
There are many other issues Sarath Silve talk about President which will help you if you watch the other videos to learn about President’s behaviour.
I lay out some suggestions that you may consider implementing and may consider

1) CJ, the Judiciary and the SC should occoupy Supreme court Building, and never allow MARA goons to occoupy it………even if they use strong arm methods.
2)CJ and the Judiciary with the help of JVP and other SL patriots should defend the Supreme Court Building and even be prepared to fight if MARA is resorted to VIOLENCE.
3) Should call for both local and international TV crews to video the MARA violance and send them to International and Sri Lankan Diaspora Community.
4)Similar to Malaysian Tamil Sangam who restricted president Rajapakse from participating for the Muslim Business conference and subsequent harassing of the Sri Lankan Embassy staff in Malaysia……..similarly all Sri Lankan Expatriate community should work on to close down and harass all the MARA goon foreign Sri Lankan Diplomatic Missions…….and never allow MARA or the Govt. Parliament members to come into those countries…..similar to MARA England tours.
5)Encourage and write to CW to send a group of Judges from Commonwealth countries to hear CJ trial…..or CJ and her lawyers to go to CW and UN (I know it’s expensive, but still worth the trouble to get justice to CJ) Also if you could find funders for the expenses of CW Judges or CJ tour will be helpful.
6)With personal influence our expatriate community should influence UN to pressure President to stop kicking CJ out until commonwealth Judges hear the case.
7)If CJ is kicked out and since there is no law in the country……CJ and SC should work on to stop Sri Lanka from participating UN, CW , Non Align and Asian Conferences, and stop CHOGM holding in Sri Lanka and stop giving Business concessions, Tourism and GSP status to Sri Lanka as a punishment.
8)If GOSL instigate violance against citizen, CJ,SC and the Bar association and the opposition Parties should call for international forces to intervene Sri Lanka to rescue Citizens before making them refugees and from fleeing the country.
9) Organise country wide strike, work stopage, transport and train sabotage, Power and utility disruptions, hotels, airline and tourism work stoppage,Hospital and school closures, International cargo and tourism travel ban etc…etc…
11)Also meeting local Diplomatic Community and to educate them on country’s situation……and to treat Sri lankan Govt. as a Pariah State.
12) Educate UN,CW and international Community with organising seminars and talk at UN, EU and Asian Forums to intervane on behalf of CJ and Judiciary and BAN SRI LANKA GOVERNMENT AS A PARIAH STATE.
Hope CJ, Judiciary, SC, Bar association and the opposition Parties will consider these suggestions.

Let us hope that the legal community without exception supports this demonstration. because it is as much in their professional interest as it is in the public. Let us hope no lawyer accepts the position of CJ in case the regime forces the present CJ out and tries to install a puppet. Let this be the beginning of a Sri Lankan spring. It is the duty of every citizen to defend the judiciary, which in effect would be defend himself or herself against arbitrary rule by a bunch of uncouth thugs. May there be sons and daughters of Sri Lanka brave enough to join this demonstration in their thousands, and to return in their thousands to the streets again and again until until tyranny is forced out, as in Egypt and Libya.
