    Sajith should join Mahinda Rajapassa!
Karu should take over as UNP leader with Rosy Senanayake as deputy

Sajith has lied about his degree from LSE and is not fit to hold party leadership since a person with at least a Bachlors degree is ncessary to lead parties and countries these days…

Indeed, Karu is the most fitting leader for the UNP at this time – since he would be able to groom a future and ABLE leader from the younger generation – withoug getting jealous and getting rid of the best and brightest men and women of the party!

Ranil Wickramasinghe as a leader has failed in the first task of grooming a successor, has has rather got rid of all the bright and independent leaders of the younger generation, except Sajith, who is just hanging around because his father was Premadasa. Sajith poor soul really is terribly INcapable of leadership in thought and action, as wll as, being small minded and parochail and hence unfit to lead a party of the stature and liberal pluralist nature – of the UNP.

Definitely Sajith is ideal for MR, and he should leave UNP. Make Karu as the leader. Also Ranil should be sacked, he is fully responsible for the downfall of the party.

The UNP leadership council should have some women leaders on it! Rosy would be a start.

Where are the women and by the way the biggest minority community – Tamil representation in the UNP?

Lets hope the UNP will be able to unite under Karu and pose a formidable challenge to the UPFA. There are so many talented persons who should be brought to the forefront to lead the party in the forthcoming elections. No doubt Karu will be able bring out the best in them.

sajith needs to have internship in the unp then he should be able to learn how to behave and importance of leadership colitis.

if he does not needs to fallow unp policies sajith should be sack from the party immediately

SAJITH PREMADASA IS THE PROBLEM TO THE UNP.

Sajith Premadasa is trying to capture the UNP leadership by mobilizing a Saffron Wave and with the assistance of the Maharaja TV channel which is terribly biased and has been boasting the Sri Lanka has arrived with CHOGM and supporting Rajapassa..

Neither Sajith NOR Ranil is acceptable to the people of Lanka who support the UNP – they must both go!

A real farce.Karu as usual played the role of Judas. This time back stabbed Sajith.Sajith is well advised to stay out of this misfit council.People will teach Karu the judas an unforgettable lesson in the next election.

Instead of Mangala S. President councilor Srinath perera would be a good candidate. UNP should send sajith home. he thinks that he has the privilege to be the party head because of his president farther. UNP leader should be a proper skilled educated one. A leader with a credentials to give a fight to Rajapaksha. Sajith can attract few number of votes in short term but not in the long run. He can not led UNP to win. Sajith is a easy target to the opposition. When opposition with all medias in hand will raise sajith qualification/ money of sasunata aruna/ premadasa period….etc…so it will be a disaster for the unp…

Leadership council is another waste of time and what’s
needed is not power sharing but HEAD ROLLING.
Accountability is not only for the govt,it’s equally
applied to the opposition and the main opposition the
UNP,has so far done everything to escape that duty
by not accepting any responsibility for its failures.
One who refuses to take responsibility for his actions
should not be a leader and there is no different set of
    laws to the AMEN BOYS.

I agree, Sajith should leave the UNP but he should not join MR on the votes of the UNP. He should contest as an independent. Then we will see if the people want him or not. He uses the UNP and his father’s name to try to boost himself and would be a bigger disaster than any previous leader the UNP had. He is jus ya spoilt brat

There are two politicians responsible for UNP’s predicament.Premadsa snr and Premadasa jnr.The father undermined JR by forming citizens front, expelled intellectuals like Lalith and Gamini, armed the Tigers. The son with the Maharajas support has undermined Ranil at every turn. The so called “reformists” who a set of young, misled politicians with limited experience and no national following have been take for a ride by Sagith. The UNP will be best served if Sagith is expelled even at this late stage.

Yes, expel sajith, karu, sujeewa, buddika, kabir hasheem and make sure no young leader is emerged (have an eye for Hareen, he seems to be becoming popular) then have an alliance with muslim congress, TNA and wickramabahu and then watch Namal becoming president after Mahinda.

New UNP Leadership Council implemented and appointed 9 members to the committee. I can’t see any changes here. To be honest, they did the same old mechanism by using a new face. Majority of working committee members are loyalist to current leader of UNP Ranil Wickramasinge and here only different is Jumbo working committee shrinks into a small chunk of leadership council. One benefit here for Ranil is, no need for him to spend too much time on counting the raising hands for his decision.

The UNP and its leaderships died long time Back. What is left Now it is the Embalmed mummified Body that is left.Lets bury it and get on with our daily work.

More urgent thing now is to see we get our next meal. I presume that ensuring Food Shelter’ cloths and education too are Human right. This needs to be addressed very urgently.

The Sinhala Buddhist Monks Can Afford to attend to Politics. As they Live on Others and their needs are guaranteed, Like the needs of the Political Leaders. So let them do it.

senile and impotent cannot sire a child. But They are arrognent to cover their inability.

May God intervene to Save Sri Lanka from its present Madness. Let sanity prevail.

      Levi

It was not God who intervened in Sri Lanka to finish the 30 year war against terrorism .It is the men and women of this country who will have to solve their problems , not an unseen God .
