Sirisena, Wickremasinghe & Rakapaksa Dilemmas

By Sarath Wijesinghe

Political maize in Sri Lanka has further complicated after the dissolution of the Parliament without passing 20A which is a demand and a promise by Sirisena to the people agitated for a change. Whose decision was the snap elections and who runs the country is a mystery and known to few. Some say people now need a change for the changes made due to dissatisfaction and disappointment of the state of affairs today. Sirisena is in a dilemma sandwiched between UNP SLFP (m) SLFP(R) and other minority parties and may have realized that trying to satisfy all stake holders is impossible. Sirisena’s amazing and unexpected victory on 8th January 2015 and the sudden decision to call for snap elections on 17th of August 2015 has given no opportunity for any politician or a political party to amply plan for the future which is more advantageous to the UNP.

UNP wanted to avoid five no- confident motions against the PM FM and others and more importantly the COPE report in which central Bank Governor is accused of. Central Bank Governor Arjun Mahindran is accused of allowing his son in law to transect 10 billion bonds for 30 years with unusually high interest rates in unusual circumstances losing billions of the ordinary tax payer’s money. He may have accepted the bids as the Governor and may not be able to absolve from responsibilities of the transections of his own son in law, though Wickramsinghe vehemently defended him and even volunteered to make representation to COPE as the line minister leaving a serious and series of doubts as when the COPE committee appointed by the Parliament made adverse findings on this mega scam. Sudden dissolution of the Parliament and calling for early elections has placed the electorate Politicos and political parties in a dilemma.

Mahinda RSirisena has created the impression of a simple unassuming personality but tough and hard on Rajapaksa who is gaining grounds in the political arena with popularity in the village and Nationalist populous. To his credit he has voluntarily tried to give up excessive power vested though constitutional blockage has not allowed him to be a modern William Goppalawa. He has restricted the period to one term and chose to lead the simpler life which is taken well with the electorate. But people will not take him serious with less power and period of tenure limited. UNP in power has not taken him and SLFP (m) group serious. Many SLFP ers are unhappy that they are side-lined and fear a future national government led by UNP. Lack of personality and inability for decision making and the inefficiency of him and the people around have given the electorate a bleak outlook and weak signals. He has not performed as a good health minister and the performances as a minister and a leader of the Nation and the party is average. The most wanted peace of legislation mooted by him as the Health Minister was lost in the hand of a leading government servant indicating that he has not been a good administrator. His excuse was no extra copy of the legislation was found which a lame excuse . His hidden talents and convincing oratory has helped him to win the short presidential campaign ended victoriously. “Lambogani” cars and the white horses imported from non-existing “Bakingham Palace of USA” may not be believed by the electorate any longer. Can he repeat the performances at the forthcoming election and whether it is believed by the electorate are matters to be decided by the electorate are to be seen? Can he morally support and lead the SLFP as the person who defeated the party and won by the majority UNP votes is the other dilemma of the SLFPers. Dissolution of the Parliament without the 20A passed has been a difficult decision for Sirisena who promised passage to pass 20A. To Sirisena’s credit he tried hard to get it passed but failed by exposing his week character and the inability to govern. The cry of” Hora Hora-thief thief” with no proof and bases has tarnished the image and undermined the credibility of those mooted a change who are now claiming a change for the changes which has not brought changes to the life of the electorate.

Rajapaksa Madamulana Declaration on 1st July and Kumaratunga’s declaration to contest if…. Which she is now denying and the confusions followed on Kumaratunga’s intention to contest general elections and Sirisen’s responses on Rajapaksa’s nominations

Rajapaksa to clarify doubts of the Polite declared that he would definitely contest as a Prime Ministerial candidate and take all endeavour with steps and precautions not to divide the party he led to victory until he lost to Sirisena by over four hundred thousand votes. Both 63 lacks of votes taken by Sirisena and 58 lacks votes of Rajapaksa are credits to both. Sirisen’s 63 mainly consist of UNP and the NE votes. Can Sirisena’s group sustain the same vote base at next polls is doubtful although Rajapaksa may hold on to his 58 and there are possibilities to increase on his performances after the defeated. He is extremely popular in the village, his vote base as the person liberated the Nation from terror of three decades infra- structure developments and the investments in many areas due to the stability and Peace coupled with his diplomacy skills with excellent oratory. News reported Sirisena is planning to handover the presidency of the SLFP to Kumaratunga the behind Rajapaksa’s fall end an arch enemy of Rajapaksa who is vehemently against giving Rajapaksa the Prime Ministerial candidature and threatening to come forward as a candidate at the general election. Rajapaksa left power graciously leaving Temple Trees early mooning and handing over the Chairmanship of the SLFP to Sirisena which is exemplary. Dudly Senanayaka,W Dhanayaka and Ranil Wickremesinghe were other leaders who left office graciously at the defeat. Rajapaksa’s declaration is a bomb shell and rejuvenated the Sri Lankans waiting for a change to the change they were dragged into putting all parties in action in dilemmas.

General Elections – Dog Fights for preferential votes

General Elections will be held in August under the old proportional and political party system allowing rich and powerful to play around with “Dog Fights” with the electorate and fight tooth and nail for preferential votes. As there is not internal democracy in any party dictatorship will complicate the nominations and leaderships of political parties in the political arena. UNP the party once scattered with internal conflicts and rifts have resolved their differences and look forward to capturing power at the polls. Whether people will be given an opportunity to unelectable Wickramasing on the recent performances are yet to be seen. It seems UNP is rejuvenated and look forward to be in power after two decades of isolation and wilderness. It is difficult to gauge the polarization of the electorate after the unfortunate division of ethnic groups in the North and East on rational basis. Tamils in the North and Muslims in the East will vote with the raciest parties on racial basis, and JHU and newly formed BJP too will canvass on racial basis leaving the rest of the electorate to Sirisena, Wickremesinghe and Rajapaksa who will be voted on political basis. Rajapaksa-Sirisena issue will divide SLFP unless it is settled amicable which is most unlikely. This will invariable result in UNP having the edge. Who wants to avoid this is difficult to gauge. Average SLFPer wants the party unity and victory for the Party that ruled over two decades to stability and led to development attracting investors. Wickramasing with the reputation of pro west has claimed to have acquired the knowledge from USA during the study tour which he claims to have put into practice for the fall of Rajapaksa.

Dilemmas of Raciest Parties and other Stake Holders

JHU is in a dilemma on which party they will alienate with at the coming general election. Though borne as an ultra-Sinhala Raciest Party they will not able to maintain the Sinhala Buddhist vote base after having cooperated with other Tamil Raciest Parties to oust the common enemy Rajapaksa now emerging as a common candidate of the average polite now repenting for voting out for a change. Emergence of the powerful BJP – another Sinhala Buddhist Raciest party will be an imminent threat to JHU. Apparently now they want an immediate change for the sudden and unexpected changes made. Credibility of Rev Ratana and Rev Sobitha as Sinhala Buddhist community leaders have completely washed away after their common activism to oust the common enemy Rakapaksa (the hero who gave life to the Nation and the peoples by ending 30 year war on terror) with Raciest and minority parties including JVP, TNA, SLMC and minority parties acting with common intention and an agenda mainly oust Rajapaksa. TNA and SLMC is stable and static with their policies and the vote are base getting ready for their demands whereas Rishad Bathurdeeen, Fizer Musthapa, and Digambaran likes are with Sirisena whose strategy has still not exposed. Sirisena’s move to appoint Kumaranatunga as president of the SLFP–the arch enemy of Rajapaksa will make drastic changes in the politics of vengeance with the hard lining attitude of Kumaranatunga against the common enemy Rajapaksa. Sirisena is genuinely grateful for UNP for his victory and the analysts say around 40 lacks of votes out of 63 may be from the UNP whereas around 5 lacks of SLFPers and the rest are voters voted for a change. Ironically Sirisena is the President of the SLFP with majority power and members on ground and parliament is commanded by Rajapaksa. Secretaries Yapa and Premajayanth are under threat by SB Dissanayaka, Rajitha, and Champika waiting to capture SLFP which are dilemmas of all parties and individua

Rajapaksa’s announcement led to dilemmas to all parties concerned. Wickramasinghe has regained with confidence after two decades of suffering and isolation by repeated defeats claiming to have learnt and mastered the operation ousting strategy Rajapaksa during recent studies and discussions in the USA. Rajapaksa. Countries such as Iraqi, Syria, Libya, and some Eastern European countries once most developed economically are now in ruins after following strategies and interventions of USA. Many Middle Eastern countries are now under “ISIS” – the most powerful and richest terrorist organisation ruling major parts of territories killing civilians at random and mass scale where USA have no control and threatening the west as a whole – thanks to the interventions and strategies of USA on “Regime Changes”. Are we victims of the same game is a matter that will emerge in the near future. Wickramasingha’s statement has put the cat out of the bag which speaks thousands of words and hidden meanings on the current intentional political maize.

Dilemmas for Intelligencer and the Intelligence of the common man

Common man is far more intelligent and politically matured than so called intelligent and educated polite lacking is common sense and common knowledge. Sri Lankan voter have always taken correct decisions including 8th January by ousting Rajapaksa and the clan for drifting away from the common man and common political sense. Now Rajapaksa is suffering alone for the sins committed by the clan and those close to him by putting him in a shell. People are still grateful to him for giving the Nation and the subjects’ life to rid the war of thirty years that has shattered and ruined the Nation and human lives. He brought stability, peace and rapid development on infra structure and investments with his diplomatic skills personality and friendly nature. He has suffered the maximum during the last 150 days which is ample punishment to make him correct and come back to the tract again with changes, new thinking and strategies. If Wickramasinge who betrayed the Nation by signing the agreement with Prabakran to divide the country and If Rev Sobith – the ultra-Sinhala Raciest leader of “Mawbims Surakema Wiyapaarya” took a 360 turn with the Tamil Raciest parties against the common enemy Rakapaksa, why cannot Rajapaksa revert back to the same Rajapaksa – the common man’s idol- with a short lapse of mistakes due to the association of few unwanted characters who have now left him for personal benefits.

MR might have contributed significantly for the defeat of the LTTE but it cannot be denied that several other factors, both national and international, too contributed to the effort. But MR failed to bring about peace and stability in their true sense, and there was more chaos in the country than ever before which would have led to worse tragic circumstances. MR was blind to these shielded by the pride of his power and the unlimited benefits he enjoyed for himself, his family and relatives. Can MR who did not realize what responsible or good governance is during the ten years of his rule be a refined person to be trusted to be entrusted with power again. The worst is that MR is attempting to come back with the support of a number of crooks who will be again part of his rule. Oh God let it not happen.

      Sarath Wijesinghe,

Thanks for the succinct summary. The Core problem is Sirisena guts. CBK is helping him make and take decisions, amid distractions by Chatu MaRa.

      1. “Whose decision was the snap elections and who runs the country is a mystery and known to few.”

      2. “Sirisena is in a dilemma sandwiched between UNP SLFP (m) SLFP(R) and other minority parties and may have realized that trying to satisfy all stake holders is impossible. “

      3. “UNP wanted to avoid five no- confident motions against the PM FM and others and more importantly the COPE report in which central Bank Governor is accused of. “

      4. “Lack of personality and inability for decision making and the inefficiency of him and the people around have given the electorate a bleak outlook and weak signals. He has not performed as a good health minister and the performances as a minister and a leader of the Nation and the party is average” “To Sirisena’s credit he tried hard to get it passed but failed by exposing his week character and the inability to govern.”

      5. “Rajapaksa’s declaration is a bomb shell and rejuvenated the Sri Lankans waiting for a change to the change they were dragged into putting all parties in action in dilemmas.:

Item no.5 above is the core problem, Why, all those thieves and criminals and those who lose perks want Rajapaksa back to save them.

Yes, Rajapaksa has solved his dilemma by announcing his candidacy, whatever the outcome. Sirisena, still in a dilemma, dilly dallying, need to be decisive, and NOT give the nomination to Rajapaksa and his cronies. Giving to CBK is a solution. People vote for parties, not personalities. Remember, Dahanayakas Prajathantravadiya (Democratic) Party. The Same thing will happen to Rajapaksa and his cronies without the SLFP Nomination, and the Medamulana- Crooks, Robbers Amana Party ( M-CRAP) should be encouraged to vote independently, and field Mahinda Rajapaksa as the Prime Minister Candidate, just bluke JVP is doing with Anura Kumara Dissanayaka.

Sirisena, needs to learn to shoot when he has a loaded gun and the enemy is making gestures.

Does Sirisena want to be a Statesman, a Leader or be a Spineless Wimp?

Consult with Filed Marshal sarath Fonseka. He his available for consultation., After all he is the real Hero who won the war, and pur LTTe’s VP to rest, the supporter and buddy of Mahinda Rajapaksa . ( Basil Rajapaksa gave money to VP, ans VP paid in kind by helping elect Mahinda Rajapaksa).

Mr. Sirisena, who are you in a dilemma when there is no need to, Just Shoot. The Talking time is over.

Amarasiri – You have written a lengthy analysis on the dilemma
faced by MS and to give you a short answer, MS will never, even
at the cost of losing his close SLFP stalwarts, give nomination
to MR to be the prime ministerial candidate nor have him anywhere near the administration, knowing his character, due to personal reasons as his life will be in danger and he does not want to a puppet President. We little know what kind of threats he received from MR before the election. He will withstand any pressure to accommodate MR into his camp.He did very well until passing of 19A but gave up his guard and did a “U” turn to outdo UNP in the race for forming the next Govt.as his loyalty is always towards SLFP and hurt the minorities on the electoral issues and his sincerity is in doubt now. There is bound to be some cross overs from MR party as the nomination date closes in as odds are against
MR, and there is a possibility that SLFP(S) could form a unity govt. with UNP or V.V.and the minority parties and probably with JVP,a party gaining grounds now with a charismatic leader Anura Dissanayake. The political situation will become clear after the
        nominations are announced.

          Thanks. Let’s hope so.

Chatu MaRa and their cronies are trying to get back to SLFP by hook or crook, and we all hope MaRa will be sidelined, and he will form his own Party, M-CRAP, to contest the election.

Every opportunity one gets, Chatu MaRa needs to be exposed, notwithstanding the claims by the Shills, Cronies, Crooks, Robbers and Criminals of MaRa.

Mahinda Rajapakse contributed significantly on the following:
      1. Coverted rule of law into jungle law.
      2. Converted parliament as the meeting place for criminals, drug dealers, murders.
      3. Sponsored BBS to attack mosques, churches, Christians and Muslims.
      4. Gave freedom to Thugs and underworld criminals.
      5. Those who raised voice against corruption were abducted, torured and murdered.
      6. Converted SLFP as a party for Mahinda family only.
      7. Joined with international criminals to export illegal weapons to terrorists.
      8. He spent billions on posters advertising himself.
      9. Even after people rejected him, he still wants to come back to power to take revenge the people who voted against him as he assasinated those who raised about corruption.
      10. He is a danger to democracy, peace and true Buddhism.

Responding for your statement “MR might have contributed significantly for the defeat of the LTTE”.

MR was able to destroy the LTTE because of his heartless strategy of killing everyone in the location LTTE operated, so he killed all the people with the LTTE. You don’t need much brains for it and only need a brutal mind. This is the reason for the many war crimes charges against him and his soldiers. You are a Muslim and you know how cruel he was towards your people.

Its dilemma time alright for the the big three who are ‘Maithree,Mahinda and Ranil’

But its also extra work time for the comics like K A Sumanasekera better known as Athal Sumane to burn mighight oil and type furiously defending and promoting MR and his goondas,so much so that he might even develop arthritis in hid hand

Its also extra dosh time for the likes of mercenaries like Dayan and Malinda who write for a living or write in order to get noticed and get a living

Its also excitable times eccentric old codgers like Peter Casie Chitty who live abroad and defend MR!

        “Gajendra who? “

In Pali, Sanskrit Gaja= Elephant, and Gajendra =Elephant = Symbol of UNP.

        https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gaja

Gaja (a -Sanskrit word for elephant) is one of the significant animals finding references in Hindu scriptures and Buddhist and Jain texts. In general, a gaja personifies a number of positive attributes, including abundance, fertility and richness; boldness and strength; and wisdom and royalty. In European Portuguese, it means “physically attractive female”; its origin in the Portuguese language can be related to a personification of fertility, as mentioned

        Gajendra Moksha
        https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gajendra_Moksha

Gajendra Moksha (Sanskrit: गजेन्द्रमोक्षः) or The Liberation of Gajendra is Puranic legend from the 8th Skandha of the Bhagavata Purana, one of the most sacred books in Hinduism. It is one of the famous exploits of the god Vishnu. In this episode, Vishnu came down to earth to protect Gajendra, the elephant from the clutches of Makara, the Crocodile and awards him moksha or salvation. Gajendra is then said to have attained the similar four-armed form (Sarupya Mukti) of God and goes to Vaikuntha with Vishnu.

Gajendra Ponnambalam, son of late controversial Kumar Ponnambalam who ran for President in 1988. Gajendra from Queen’s Terrace Colombo went to Royal but hates Sinalese. Lives mostly in Madras and is an open LTTE supporter MP. Seems like he has fallen out of favor with moderates like Sumanthiran.

Pacs – what made you to think of TNA. This party has come to stay and will sweep all N/E seats, where Tamils live and they also have a chance of winning a seat in Colombo, if they contest. Leave TNA alone as its a grand old party, with whom the Tamils shared the bad and difficult times, over the years.
There is infighting no doubt but they sort it out by dialogue. It is
expected that TNA will field some new educated men and women to contest
the N/E seats and we could see some products like Mr. Sumanthiran, a leading constitutional lawyer, in the new parliament representing TNA.
Tamil voters are not fools to break up the unity. It will be a one party rule of N/E for years to come.

I would be wrong to assume that the Village People (not the pop group) are dundaheads and will support Rajapakse no matter what. The country as a whole has a 98.4 % literacy rate and most would have learnt by now the treachery that the Rajapakse clan inflicted on our country despite the spin by their PR team.

      He didn’t commit war crimes.

He said he fought the war for Hindia. Therefore all benefits and war crimes should be attributed to Hindia.

He strongly believes Hindia would save him from hell.

He also knows USA wouldn’t do anything against him without the consent of Hindia.

He would not have committed war crimes without the explicit approval of Hindia and west.

It appears the author Sarath Wijesinghe had turn around 180 decrees, but he has come back to the same point with another turn of 180 decrees by conceiving that MR is contesting on SLFP ticket which has not been decided yet and MR’s appearance have appeal to him than that of President Maithiripala Srisena’s! Yet 624500 odd voters was not fooled by this theory despite a life “efficacy” of Srisena was walking along with MR to the polling booth on the 8th January 2015, though that efficacy Srisena not attached to that polling Booth!

Former CJ Sarath Silva was seen at Medamulana on 1st of July along with other henchmen.
It was this Sarath Silva who gave a very strong judgement on Sarath Wijesinghe that Wijesinghe should not be permitted to hold public office in Sri Lanka. But MR appointed him as an Ambassador to UAE and Israel. That is Medamulana doctrine.

The silent majority will speak. Floating youth voters will go to the UNP. MR and MS will be routed. Let MR contest. People aren’t fools. A vociferous minority of corrupt politicians and their entourages going to temples and Hindu type ddevalas to pray and ask for favors is NOT Buddhism. Buddha isn’t a God and he cannot front favors or win elections for people expressing piety. Same is true for all other gods:be their Islamic or christian. That isn’t how democracy works and that isn’t how rational thought works. MR will become a laughing stock and Chichi can go back to Louis Vuitton shoes and belts into Space in his Made in Medamulane Spaceship funded by China. MR is the last hope for all the Rogue Politicians, Drug Mafia, Stock Market Mafia, Killer Squads, Ethanol Mudalalis, Land Robbers and Commiss Kakas. 100 day Govt was not strong enough to arrest and do Justice to these criminals.

Govt has achieved significant victories. Restoration of Justice and Independent Judiciary. Cleanup of Police. Reduction in Fuel and Energy prices. Relief for Pensioners and Senior Citizens. Free Media etc.

Much remains to be done which requires a strong Govt. Hence the voters will have to decide if the country is to progress or go back to Rajapakse Yugaya.

RW is aware that the “political animal” in MR will come up – Mahinda is “never say die”
and takes his last stand with a new Party, to satisfy his ego. Thus the results will
however go to confirm that RW will be able to work out the 2 year National Govt. as the SLFP votes will be split, with Sarath Fonseka siding the UNP. MS-CB-RW are the pioneers
of a National Govt. which during its two year will settle the Tamil problem once and
    for all, with IC support.
Corruption and Charges are secondary to local Politicians in their battle to make a win. USA will now expidite its findings on Money-laundering to curb MRs Voice is my guess.

    Mr. Sarath Wijeyasinghe!

This article of yours exemplifies the Members of Parliament who are supporting Mahinda Rajapakse to make a comeback – Reasons being that if MR does not come back they will be isolated, and called to task for their crimes against humanity.

Your article of half truths and full lies, speaks in favour of MR being voted back into the corridors-of-power, as you seem to state that he is the best of the bad lot. The media-at-large have been compromised by MR with money, perks and blackmail to lend a helping hand the the rogues!

You, too, seem to have been activated to re-emerging as a pro MR activist, after the knowledge that he is indeed seeking nominations to get back into the corridors-of power. Your insinuations about Ranil and the UNP prove that you have – like the rest of the media scum who are tainted with corruption – actively using subliminal messaging as is noted in your closing line :
    QUOTE:
why cannot Rajapaksa revert back to the same Rajapaksa – the common man’s idol- with a short lapse of mistakes due to the association of few unwanted characters who have now left him for personal benefits.
    UNQUOTE:-

A simple reply to the questioned posed by you as your closing statement is this :

Mahinda Rajapakse can fool all the people some of the time,
and some of the people all the time,
but Mahinda Rajapakse cannot fool all the people all the time.

and that goes for you and the acolytes of Mahinda Rajapake.

What is happening in Srilanka, instability, national pride, devolopment, was brought down by Mitripala Serena the present president, how you can trust a person, who eate and drinks early morning breakfast, with friends, and betrayed the same friends, and colleagues after couple of hours. He is a ” JUDAS” never to be trusted this man He will one day he betray our county too, Now he acted like a nice guy to Srilankan, He done same, as “JUDAS” did to our Beloved saviour “JESUS” Honorable good Srilankan who loves the country will not forgive this man.

There is reliable information that if MR is denied nomination from the SLFP or the UPFA by MS, the SLFP Secretary Anura Priyadharshana Yapa in whose hands the SLFP nomination papers are, is to sabotage so that MS’s candidates will be disqualified, thereby help MR a better footing. So MS and the SLFP better lookout before it is too late.

Besides MR’s power as the President then, plenty of ill-got money of his own and that of his cronies, the state and other media, state transport, and all other facilities earned him the 58% of the votes. Of them what now remains for him is only the facility of ill-got money. Other minus factors are the ill-reputation of those who are promoting him and also the diminished pro-Buddhist feeling now prevalent as compared to when it was during the Presidential election in the height of the activities of the BBS. Considering all these MR’s popularity would be around 20-25% which might give him and his promoters around 10 seats. That will not be any challenge to the UNP or the MR-led SLFP.

This country needs a “complete change”. There is no doubt about it. We saw during the “100 Day” programme how our Legislators behaved and acted on urgent and important changes that were to be achieved. The so called 19A was also “cut & chopped” and the setting up of the most wanted “Independent Commissions” did not and in actual fact was not “allowed” to be set up. The “Investigations” that were undertaken got derailed due to various interventions. So what was the use of going on with a Legislature of that sort? That “100 Days” proved to the people the need to completely change the composition of this House and possibly to kick out all those time tested Legislators who have been holding on to their positions for over decades. No doubt, the people had so much expectations from this “War Hero”; but what happened? Over a period of four years, he “MESSED” up the entire governing machinery and dwelt in “Building a Family Business” supported by his cronies. He even derailed the most “Sacred Judiciary” in the country and almost established himself a “Dictator”. In good time the country was saved and a change took place on January 8, 2015. That change was a “welcome gift”; but still things are not falling into place. As such the people have got a grand opportunity to get rid of a large number of these unscrupulous political criminals out of that esteemed House and move forward to build a country that is worth living.

Mr. Sarath Wijesinghe: Your are welcome here and I thank CT for giving this opportunity to meet you.

I am not going to make political comments.
I want to say that people who write in Englsih should at least follow basic rules. The verb must be plural if the subject is plural etc. It is a shame. Sometimes the verb is dropped. Articles are dropped

“Political maize in Sri Lanka has further complicated after the dissolution of the Parliament without passing 20A which is a demand and a promise by Sirisena to the people agitated for a change. What kind of a construction is this part that I have put in italics?

“Whose decision was the snap elections and who runs the country is a mystery and known to few”.

Does the verb clearly agree with the subject? Or does it agree with the object?

The sentence given below, and most sentences written by this writer need commas and suitable punctuation as well as review for grammatical oddities.

Sirisena’s amazing and unexpected victory on 8th January 2015 and the sudden decision to call for snap elections on 17th of August 2015 has given no opportunity for any politician or a political party to amply plan for the future which is more advantageous to the UNP.

I will not analyze the rest of the article. It is left as an easy exercise to the reader to see what passes for Englsih in Sri Lanka now, even after Sirisena went to London and came back boasting that he shook the Queen’s bare hand.

Now that the Liberator of the Nation , Mahinda has declared his hand, there is no dilemma as far as 5.8 Milloon universal franchise holders who love and live in their beloved Motherland are concerned..

In fact this number has grown even further, with patriots who were mislead coming back to the fold, after realizing what a Boru Palanaya they are offered with people like Singapore Mahendran,Galleon Ravi’s BIL, Bodhi Sira’s loving brother, Colombo Poodle Club President’s son, and Baththudeen to name a few.

Although this dude looks like Elite, he calls spade a spade.

I like the way he has simplified the two choices which are in front of the inhabitants, come 17 August.

Ranil is the only PM or even an MP in Government in SL to sign an agreement with a Terrorist, a mega Terrorist for that matter.

In fact the agreement was to hand over one third of the country to be ruled by the Terrorist Mr Prabakaran.

After Nanthikdal, Ranil now has a MOU with the TNA which acted as the Political Front for the Terrorist Prabakaran

The MOU is to implement the 13 A with full TNA Police and total ownership of Land in the North,

To circumvent any legal issues, the whole North is to be run by a Special Minister from the TNA, with totally independent powers for everything in the North including military security…

Instead of rapid Economic Development , Ranil has stopped each and every project, including the mega projects like the Harbour City and the Crown Casino.

Plus he has even stopped the Maha Vidyalaya and Road building in the Rural Sector,

But he has approved Krish group to build even though Krish hasn’t paid the deposit.

Ranil’s hand picked CB Boss gave the SIL the mother of all Tenders as the writer has described.

And the writer even has pointed out how his fellow Elite have to pay the instalments for 30 years with extra 3 percentage points probably as a surcharge for Yahapalanaya..

Thank heavens the Dalits don’t pay income Tax.

    Already the list is long.

And I haven’t even touched on the discrimination which is going on big time against the Sinhala Buddhists for the last six months.

Sinhala Buddhists BTW make up 70 % of the inhabitant population.

90% of them are poor rural people.

Do they want to vote for Ranil, and the Cousin and their mates and get more of the same?..

        P.Lover,

I wouldn’t put even a LTTE confiscated property in Puddithikuruppu if I had one

Yahapalana heavy Kiriella is plaeding with CBK to come and contest on the UNP Ticket.

        How cool…

Ranil can use CBK as the main event with Mahendran doing a gig too, on how he will give Honey to the Elite with a kick ass Bond funded Economy.

Can’t wait to go to Hyde Park for UNP’s first rally.

Or is it in Premadasa Satadium, where the Colombo Poodles peed..
