Further the Lawyers’ Collective issued a statement expressing their concern for the safety of the Chief Justice and her family in view of the extra judicial methods that were used in yesterdays March.  Later in the day, several senior Lawyers submitted a similar letters. What has you being a sinhalese got to do with it? You pick a most generic sinhalese sounding name and just had to mention this? Believe it or not, this is not a sinhalese problem. You should learn to stop talking in such racial terms and accept that this suffering is created by the whole country and dealt with by the whole country, not just minorities or sinhalese or whatever. As a muslim I am appalled by this state sponsored terrorism. The “state” includes me as well as the sinhalese. This is OUR problem, not just yours or mine.

Sri Lanka’s parliamentary impeachment process against Chief Justice has gone to street levels. MPs and ministers claim the Parliament is supreme. Media carries on series of articles, discussions and lectures to prove CJ was wrong and the parliament is supreme. Thugs attacks anti-impeachment protesters at the courts complex in front of the police while Govt supporters, who were brought by govt MPs in govt buses rally at the entrance of the parliament complex with slogans asking CJ to go home. Golden Key depositors camped outside the CJ’s official residence and protest against her. Parliament debates and pass impeachment against supreme court determination that the process was against the law.

Hereafter MPs and thugs can hear cases at the streets. No courts of law necessary.

    What a shame…

The culture of state terrorism. Injustice delivered by mobs and hooligans. Police and law enforcement the silent onlookers. CJ lives in a HSZ where even a car is not allowed to park by the roadside. But this is the law of the barbarians where everything they say goes.

Police looking on while persons were assaulted with long sawn pieces of timber, by goons,is shocking.
This proves the complete absence of the Rule of Law.
In the north, police and army themselves administer the ‘punishment’ for
causing displeasure to the military governer and his chief, Gotabaya.
Even entry into womens’ hostels and assaults on female undergrads were carried out.
But in colombo where the world press and foreign monitors are watching, police are careful to ignore & look elsewhere, while hired goons do the job.
    The army is carefully absent.
This regime has refined the art of brutal suppression of dissent.

    Waste of Taxpayers money

The passing of the Impeachment Resolution by a massive majority was heralded by a spectacular fireworks display across Parliament that was set off by the Naval Parliament Boat Service on the Diyawanna Oya.

Firecracker debris also littered the Parliament road, where thousands of pro-Government demonstrators were active since midmorning, holding placards and shouting slogans demanding that Bandaranayake steps down from office. The supporters were transported to Colombo by SLFP district organisers in several dozen buses that were stationed along the Parliament and Madiwela Roads.

Defence Secretary Gotabaya Rajapaksa and other Government officials watched the fireworks display from the Parliament foyer on the second floor soon after the results of the vote were announced.

THE TAMIL COMMUNITY FACED THE MUSIC UNTIL IN DESPERATION THEY TOOK TO ARMS, WERE ANNIHILATED AND THE REST OF THEM (MOST) LEFT THE COUNTRY. THE BURGHERS LEFT EN MASSE IN ’56 AND THE REST OF THEM WHO WERE LEFT FOLLOWED SUIT UNTIL A FEW DIEHARDS REMAINED. NOW IT IS THE TURN OF THE SINHALESE WHO ARE BRANDED “TRAITORS” BY THE GOVERNMENT THAT ENCOURAGES MURDERERS ,THUGS , AND HOOLIGANS, TO GO. THE ISLAND WILL THEN BE INHABITED BY THE “YAKKOS” THE “SUPPU BABBAS” THE “POL BA MUNNAS” AND
THE REST WHO “KISSED MY ARSE”, WHO WILL ALL SHALL SHOUT “JAYA SHRI RAJA SHRI” !!!!

Tamil community weren’t exactly angels…And no, it was not “tamils” who took up arms, it was the “LTTE”.

    Who started it?

If black coats could shout filth and smash coconuts in streets opposite Supreme Court to curse the elected President, and parade with those that are accused in various courts together with the Chief Justice, and go on in street processions with anti nationals, and hang black flags in court buildings illegally, what’s wrong we the government backers enjoy parliament voting to oust a woman who had defrauded 9000 Golden Key depositors, and had done fourteen other misdemeanour while being the CJ and have been scheming to divide this country with rump LTTE and NGOs and their sponsors.

I still cannot understand where President plan to take the country.

Except impeaching and sending to prison all those who oppose him, lying to international and local community, telling Cinderella stories to public, show off with Horse carts, luxury cars and lamborghini races, and giving big talks and speaches with dinners and lunches to whoever who could get public attention and with Bogus Media Publicity, cutouts and front page newspaper photos…..there is absolutely no productivity shown in MARA’s governing of the country, it’s economy, it’s education, Health, Agriculture, Industry or social standard of citizen.

By not agreeing to follow simple HR rules implemented by EU……MARA led to close over 600 Free Trade indeustries with over 25,000 jobs lost and also lost GSP status. This is why even now even our under age girls trying to go to Middle East for cheap slave labour jobs, while Men are trying to flee to Australia in Wooden boats.

Just look at the houses people live when they were shown in the Floods effected areas. All those houses look similar to the houses that VEDDA COMMUNITY LIVE.

THERE IS NO DIFFERENCE IN THE HOUSES THAT RURAL PEASANT COMMUNITY LIVE AND THE VEDDA COMMUNITY LIVE……THEY BOTH LOOK SAME. Even see the house Rizana’s parents live…….Looks like there is no front door to that house.

So what is the development MARA is talking about after 60 years of independence..

Believe me readers MARA is purely playing a drama acting to hoodwink everybody.

From having gullible speeches…..to having conferences in five star hotels and in Araliya Gaha Medura…..to giving certificates which cost ten rupees to print to children with full media exposure……to visit temples and giving dana to buddhist monks……are all to hoodwink the public to show MARA at work..

MARA IS THE BIGGEST JOKER AND AN ACTOR IN OUR HISTORY. My father always told me not to even trust a blind cat from that area……and he is proved correct.

Mr. 10% Divineguma is all fake, show off with island wide banners been put up and with no visible development in those areas where they had those exhibitions etc with no development… are witnessed today..

The biggest loosers of this MARA comedy show are the rural masses…..still living like in VEDDA cadjan houses 60 years after independence with no proper income.

Five or ten years from now country will be nothing but a hell hole…..due to both Mervin Silva like Govt. Parliament members, and with an absolute commedy central Joker dictator like President, and with a MARA ass liking future CJ…..country will be heading to a total anarchy.

MARA’S ASCHCHARYA IS HIS ABILITY TO FOOL EVERYBODY.

Please remember today what I told you all readers.

By the way who ordered the Kegalle Police to remove the black flags put up by the lawyers in Kegalle ? It is none other than Menaka Wijesundera high court judge in kegalle. Do you know any other judge by that name ? Of course, black widow sister Deepani Wijesundera of Sarth Fonseka conviction fame ! Now what do you readers think of the Sarth Fonseks conviction ? What did that woman do to a man who suffered so much for this country ?

If the goons expected to achieve a control over the judiciary and the legal fraternity by intimidation and threats, never allow them to achieve those objectives.

If the politicians intended to tame the judiciary by impeachment never allow hem to do that. ‘Gahanna Gahanna wandinna giyoth thawa gahanawa’. If we try to give into their threats and attacks, they will continue attack. Judiciry will be dead at the end. If they fail to achieve any of those objectives then only they stop.

Had the judges convicted these politicians at the very beginning, instead of showing mercy, today they would have been stripped of their office and deprived of their pensions. Treasury would have snubbed at MR if they were to be paid pensions. Sarath Silva once told that he did the blunder by not convicting MR for misapproriating Tsunami funds. Hereafter judges should not show any mercy on politicians when any case comes for hearing before them.

I appeal to the 14000+ legal fraternity to look in the mirror and tell the PUBLIC why HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS CASES ARE PENDING in the courts? How many of those cases are deliberately and willfully dragged on to bleed the public?

Correct this lacuna and talk of GG (GOOD GOVERNANCE).
