SLFP CC Postpones Decision On Future Of Unity Government, ‘Bad Boys’ To Boycott Cabinet Meeting

Ministers of the Sri Lanka Freedom Party (SLFP) will boycott tomorrow’s cabinet meeting, the party’s Central Committee decided last night.

Sirisena

The decision was made in view of the fact that a section of the United National Party (UNP) had demanded their resignation over supporting the no-confidence motion against UNP Leader and Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe.

The meeting held at the SLFP headquarters last evening and chaired by President Maithripala Sirisena who is also the Leader of the SLFP was supposed to be about deciding the party’s future in the National Government as well as to decide on the fate of MPs who supported the aforementioned no-confidence motion.

Although the majority supported the proposal of Minister Anura Priyadarshana Yapa that SLFP ministers should quit the Government, the President had urged that the matter be discussed further.

Accordingly, it was decided that the Central Committee would meet again on Wednesday to decide whether or not to quit the Government.

Whether it is SLFP, SLPP or UNP cabinet ministers are well known swindler, Fraudsters. All in the same boats. All the president’s are in the same boat. PResident Maithripala Sirisena is also in the boat. Ferdinand MArcos was a Criminal, IT doe snot matter he was useful until people chased him out, chillie’s Pinochet was a well respected by British Thatcher because he was useful. right now the important thing is even without SLFP horu which said no to another gang of theives from UNP, a NAtional govt can be built by Allmighty Ranil. why he does not do that ?. We are waiting. 122 votes mean, he can have his own govt. IF Tamils were given their TEN COMMANDMENTS TNA will Lose elelctions. Instead leave the 16 TNA MPs alone.

      President Sirisena,

“The decision was made in view of the fact that a section of the United National Party (UNP) had demanded their resignation over supporting the no-confidence motion against UNP Leader and Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe.”

“Accordingly, it was decided that the Central Committee would meet again on Wednesday to decide whether or not to quit the Government.”

The leaches will not quit, until they hed their fill, and from the NCM it appears that they were hungry because they were not getting their fills, as they were used to under Mahinda Rajapakaa.

Please ask them to resign from their posts, as they have asked the Prime Minister. Will they?

“SLFP CC Postpones Decision On Future Of Unity Government, ‘Bad Boys’ To Boycott Cabinet Meeting”.

Mr President, Indecision has been the hallmark of all your actions of late, and here is another classic example. I would have thought you would have insisted on reaching a decision at least and got one issue out of the way.’

One hopes the younger and more vibrant UNPers dont give an inch and continue to demand the resignations of all these unworthies.

          President Sirisena,.

From the Grape Vines, Bulath Vines and Wetilla Vines, there are some reports about the leaches resigning. Please, please accept the leches resignations.

The ministers (serpents, leaches ) lose the battle – hand over resignation letters .

The six cabinet serpents , leaches(ministers) who while being parasitic on the good governance government and were surely but slowly destroying the good governance by resorting to all the villainies and treasons had after realizing they cannot continue in their ministerial posts any longer in the midst of the monumental opposition mounting against them from across the entire country, finally handed over a letter to president Gamarala to allow them room to resign their posts, based on reports reaching vine news.

The six ministers are S.B. ,Susil , Dayasiri, Anura Yapa, W.D.J and Chandima .The deputy speaker had earlier on handed over his letter of resignation.

Please, please accept the leches resignations.

Those few ministers that were formerly part of[edited out] rajapakshe should be sacked from current cabinet. All these 3-4 men have higher allegations on abuses and corruptoins. Dayasiri is no b etter, Just to keep his vote base Prez Sirisena has bought him. But the kind of men should not be in current parliament.
President Sirisena has to react intelligently.
Then only this will open the doors to a better future.
Highly corrupted to be part of Mr Sirisena cant further be permitted.

        Amarasiri,

How can Sirisena ask NCM parliamentarians to quit when he himself is fighting for his survival & needs his cronies around him. Nobody wants to leave the gravy train & Sirisena has not yet reached the level of Rajapakse wealth.

Sirisena is the leader of SLFP, yet unable to bring discipline & order in his own party, & by his dithering, he has amply shown that he is not willing to cooperate in the coalition which brought him to power. What a gutless, incompetent yob . The UNP should bring a NCM against him.

“How can Sirisena ask NCM parliamentarians to quit when he himself is fighting for his survival & needs his cronies around him. “

All he needs to do is get rid of only the 6 cronies who voted for the NCM.. Now he has an excuse. This way, he can save face, and wait out the next years, until he is replaced. I hear that the 6 cronies have submitted their resignations. Their heads need to roll.

There can be any unity so long SB and other 4 are in current cabinet.

These men have lot more common with JO men.

      They just enjoyed the impunity.

They did not support UNP to continue their investigations, since that can work on them too.

If those men of former highly abusive Rajaakshe regime to be charged, all to be treated with the same spoon. On that context, President Sirisena just keeps silent.
And the fact they also want 2/3 of the parliament to be kept on their side , reforms to get passed.
Much is passed but there are several more to get done, but this is typical srilanka an another third world country that would abuse time even for tiny reforms.
Peoples have been on their way, politciians abuse them for their politcial survivials.

“Bad Boys to Boycott Cabinet Meetings” – Then, if that happens there wan’t be any Cabinet Meetings in future, because that meeting room will have only the furniture and equipment, but not the “Members of the Cabinet”. In a way, that is good for the country and the people. The rest of the supporting staff could be assigned to other Government Institutions to carry out some PRODUCTIVE work.

Mr. President shouldn’t you do the honorable thing and step down.
You took over the govt with many promises but none is achieved. You took over the SLFP a leading contender for govt and drilled it to fourth place. If SLFP stand was to abstain then the members that voted breached the parties agreed policy. If the party policy was to vote for it then the members that were a no-show breached party policy. Either way your unable to control a forth place party. What makes you think you have the competency to lead a government?

This is why Any come back of Mahinda Rajapakse threatens Sri lanka. PAithripala Sirisena Helped SLPP. so he should be bashed too.—-For the United States and India, the likely and concrete prospect of losing Sri Lanka again is unbearable given the strategic importance of the country, with Asia’s largest deepwater port at Trincomalee for which the 7th Fleet of the United States and the Government of Delhi have ambitious plans! In addition, China’s initiatives marked, among other things, by the huge New Silk Road project, its economic and political successes, put them on the defensive. This constantly evolving situation illustrates the new balance of power, but by reinforcing the contradictions further sharpens the conflicts in the region.
The chess game is important! For the Americans a defeat may call into question their geopolitical ambitions contained in Barack Obama’s famous strategic report “Pivot Asia”. This doctrine now considers Asia as a decisive priority in their ambitions of world domination, if necessary by military force, and even taking the risk of a third world conflict.
This is why the United States does not intend to let go of its prey so easily.
Therefore the return of the Rajapksa to power would be a political catastrophe, for the ruling right and of course for imperialism whose interests are of a different dimension. It must therefore be prevented at any price!
Of course, the right-wing government has no intention of calling into question its policy, it would be committing a real suicide. The urgency is to hijack, misguide the popular discontent, make him fear the worst, find him other adversaries to question, other scapegoats, make him give up his legitimate social demands in terms of power. purchasing, undifferentiated jobs, health, national independence, to put an end to the impunity of men in power, assists, mass corruption. Government action is now marked by accelerated liberalization of the country!

I think, Ranil’s office is being scanned electronically. IF some one exposes very often, he cannot be mentally normal. I heard that was suspected to happened to Gorbachov. right now Sri lanka is being sourounded by many.–Under these conditions, President Sirisena and his conservative government headed by Ranil Wickramasinghe, a discredited, ultra-liberal Prime Minister and at the behest of Washington, decided to introduce a state of emergency across the country, curfew in many cities. Special forces of the army and police reserves are mobilized in force in the field, (happened weeks ago).

    1

One N.R. Wickramsinghe a Catholic/Protestant Relative of Ranil wickrmasinghe says that saying Sri lanka is a buddhist country is not going to work. On the otherhand, One Frnch Journal says that Mahinda Rajapakse’s name has been mentioned as the inititator of the Anti-muslims violence and that is a set up. the journals further says, right now, a building right infront of Ranil wickramsingfhe’s Office (in Kollupitiya ?) and the European Union are governing Sri lanka and they directly instruct and advices Ranil. they also via their respect organizations, i.e. all the international organizations (HRW, AI, from the building) and All the organizations wihtout boarders (all are french) are spending millions o Sri lanka. IT is very possible stupid Pohottuwa people went burserk because of some body’a instructions. Becasue, these people need majority versus minority problems.

One Senior politician in Sri lanka says that Maithripala Sirisena’s Son has 27 lsakhs in his accounts while the Daughter had Rs One billion. some how MY3 says when he was in the ministry of Irrigatins work, Mahinda Rajapakse deposited that money. MR has asked money from MY3 evenwhen he was in the fisheries ministry but MY3 did not have, he said. When Ranil was asked, he had said, if my freedom is given I would tell all those things.

Yesterday’s undecided CC meeting apparently shows the weakness on the part of MS. Direction of the meeting could have been carried away by a few vociferous, errant ministers of the SLFP who were totally rejected by the people of Udunuwara and Badulla at the general election but got entry through the back door and they don’t have a life without ministerial posts. If they had actually wanted their portfolio they should have at least abstained from voting but they voted in favor of the NCM. They want to secure a place in a future MR;s cabinet thus voted with JO. Without any mercy they should be ousted from the cabinet.

This is a the most incomptent slimeball president Sri lanka ever had.All the Presidents before him had some spine although there were many faults with them. This man for whatever reason is trying to hang on to this Unity government by delaying the inevability that unity governments does not work. Two major parties of this Unity government has 2 different phylosophy in governing the country.Unp is a party mainly beleive in government mainly based on Private enterprise is the best way to govern where as SLFP beleive in mostly state based enterprises are the best way to govern the country. Each system has its own benefits and faults. Why cannot this President allow the UNP to goveren on its own with help of minor parties so that at least UNP can implement its agenda. Then SLFP with its partners will be a real opposition. The current opposition is an absolute joke as it agrees everything what the government says. Why this current leader in the opposition is called the opposition leader.May be he wants the perks of the leader of the opposition.A Viabrant democracy needs an effective opposition to flourish.

These thugs not attending the cabinet meeting is same as the impact if they are sacked. Unfortunately the President has no control over his own flock, this is a sad state of affairs. President bends with the wind. Unfortunately the wind is being generated and directed by Mahinda Rajapakse. Here again its unfortunate that the President is protecting Gotabaya, Basil, Namal, Shiranee and Mahinda Rajapakse being arrested. What we need today in Sri Lanka is a strong President who is not affiliated to any political party. The other issue is also the propaganda machine of the Yahpalana Government is very weak. Even UNP propaganda machine on a stand alone basis is extremely weak. This deficiency has to be rectified soon, or else they will lick their wounds at the next election.

In 20 to 30,years ,we will all be minorities ,under Chinese government ,it won’t be a bad idea to get our kids to learn Mandarin.

Future Africa and some of Asia including Malaysia and Indonesia will be under China government.

    100% guaranteed.

Sri Lanka,Indonesia Malaysia are yet safe ,
Vut if Najeeb and present Indo president are voted in again and as for Sri Lanka it does not matter as long as the same Constitution remain ,all these three countries will be legally taken over by China in about 20 to 30 years , may in fact be good, China may do a better job out of them with harsh iron fist regulations.

Don Stephen did know the Sinhala Intellectuals will boil each other and drink soup of it. He foresighted SWRDs in all of his MPs. To save Dudley, he turned the attention of Modaya crowd on Tamils. Still SWRD jumped ahead without tactics of Don Stephen and paid the price.

Old King placed over confidence on his brutality and let loose the New King. He, too paid Don Stephen’s price and lost to New King.

Ranil saved his PM position with 19A. But the ministry got loose and New King is holding it tight his chest. The ministers have gone. We do not know if this permanent or not. Even if they decide to come back, they have their logic in abandoning the ship before it sink.

Yahapalanaya promise was prosecuting the Criminals. They are two types, One is War and Human rights related; other one is dangerous internal types, murder, loot, rape, corruption………. Ranil and New King worked only on one subject. They wanted to have the War Criminals saved. The crimes of internal type, but still related to first type, couldn’t be prosecuted because they are still war hero, the fist type criminals. The pure second type criminals stood along with the coconut thieves, fully open and subjected to the brutality of the law. This was not the situation of the Old Royals’ time. There, all criminal surrendered to Old Royals escaped, other than Thajudeen, Lasantha, Ekneligoda like standoffs. This was very acceptable and thriving environment for ministers of corruption. Instead struggling to suck a drying victim, leach-lets want to return to mother.

Even if SLFP ministers quit, neither Ranil nor New King would declare “one party government”. It is irrelevant of how many MPs in Joint Comedy, as long as it is legally under SLFP. Using this trick, New King will reshuffle the cabinet in the way he wants. He can assign as many appointed ministers he wants, by bending the nominated MPs schedule.
