By Colombo Telegraph –
Continuing its undeclared war on media Sri Lanka’s government of President Mahinda Rajapkasa on Friday blocked the Colombo Telegraph in Sri Lanka, further depriving the people’s right to information.
Our readers in Colombo said that they are unable to retrieve the Colombo Telegraph since Friday evening. We vehemently condemn the government’s move to block our website in Colombo. We urge our readers to use proxies, such as www.ninjaproxy.ca/ to view our website for independent and impartial news, news features and opinion.
We kindly request our readers and well-wishers to spread this news and help educating your friends how to use proxy sites.

Don’t worry soon the American would give the technology to unblock it, the way they gave it to the Egyptians when Hosni Mubarak blacked out the internet during the uprising to over through him.
The days are nearing the end of Rajapakse, Bros, Sons and Company’s brutal rule. Now they have to count the days.
Ben Ali was brought down when an unemployed graduate set himself on fire, the news spread and people came on the streets in thousands in Tunisia. Ben Ali crowd ran to Saudi Arabia. All their belongings were sized by the people and put on auction in the internet for the world to buy.
One shadowy figure was posting messages in the Social Media and internet to raise up to Mubarak & Co. Egyptian came to the streets in thousand. After the over through of the dictator, this shadowy figure came out to the public and he was an executive of Google Egypt. He became the champion of Egyptian freedom from oppression.
In Libya too, its the internet took the messages to the people to raise up against Qaddafi the brutal dictator. He gave even petrol free but the people knew they were looting them and the country and making merry while them suffer.
Same in Syria. Colombo Telegraph please keep it, it will work.
God bless Telegraph!! God Bless Mother Lanka!!! We need need Human Right and Freedom from this bad, mean, dirty and vicious company of Mahinda Rajapakse, Bros; Sons and Company.

It is an identical psychological behaviour to shown by most dictators. Once you are committed a crime knowingly then you will be psychologically arrested by the fear of truth. This makes you to commit more crimes and where ever you see the ghosts coming around you and you cannot trust any one. Every one becomes an enemy and suspicion grow and grow and even a best friend or a family member or even your loving wife become suspects. This is what happened to Sadam, Gadaffi,Milosovic and Hitler.

I agree, yes the fright is greatest when one is guilty. There is no
greater fright on earth than being frightened of God. Gota is a
victim, specially with a battery-operated heart. The latest issues
about him were: i. The connection mentioned in the book Gotas War Pages
173 and 177 & the Matale Mass Graves. ii. The tale of his being Captain of the Rajarata Rifle Force in 1983 in Jaffna iii. The Carbon-dating of the findings at Matale. iv. His connection to BBS.
CT dealt with all news without self-censoring, Thank you.

If the Government is not supporting Bodu Bala and if Bodu Bala is not responsible for the low down attack on Fashion Bug, why are they angry about displaying the video of Buddhist priests’ role in the attack? Gota was firmly ensconced in the Kohuwela Police Station just before the attack, and just as it happened he went to the Pirivena next door to have a talk with the other Bodu Bala thug Ven Abeytissa.
The truth will always speak volumes. Uvindu through the Telegraph you have done the greatest task of activism ever. You will never fail.
Best of luck

CT is exposing a lot of allegations!! Truth???? Is it truth just because CT says so or because it is anti-Government?
/
Jayantha / March 30, 2013
Interested,
If you have Brains to think or eyes to see you should know what is going on in Sri Lanka.
Haven’t you seen all the corruption, commissions, Thuggery, Murder, Jail, Vandalism that Alibaba and his alapaluwas doing to our country while roaming around freely Raping our country.
It is Media like CT that expose these corruption and thuggery to the world and we are grateful for them. Also we are grateful for the reporters, Journalists, interllectuals and real patriots who are genuinly concern of our country.
Rajapakses building mega projects in his home town Hambanthota is the biggest environmental disaster he brought upon his own home town Hambanthota.
By building mega ports, mega stadiums, mega malls and hotels, mega movie cities and finally building a mega Airoport covering 500 acres of fertile land with Concrete is the Biggest Environmental Disaster MR brought upon his own people in Hambanthota which is already a partially dry land could become a totally dry land due to these unnecessary concrete structures.
This is just one project and there are many more wasteful projects which all will come out in due course which will effect our environment and life style.
Both CT, the intellectuals and intelligent reporters and writers and also the commentators here told in Advance the repercussions of all these as to how they are going to effect to our country, it’s environment and it’s economy. But due to an uneducated Village thug Moron family in power all these were kicked aside.
Our day will come soon to take back our country and we will bring up the truth to the world then.
Please open your Brains and eyes at least for now.
Thank you CT for taking all the trouble for standing up to Rajapakse Lunatic morons and for bringing us news through their supressive strong arm tactic to curb the truth coming out to public.
Karma will fall upon the doubloe headed double tongue snake pretty soon.

dear Editor and their staff
Thank your stars that you are not based in Sri Lanka for you would have suffered the same fate as Lasantha Wickrematunge.
Best wishes in your endeavours in exposing the abuses of human rights, crimes against humanity and war crimes and for standing up for the remnants of justice in a failed State. May God bless you in your good work.
