What happened to the displaced Jaffna Muslims is both sad and diabolic.
But what is curious is there have been dozens of MPs and Ministers elected and appointed under their name since the 1990s. What have they done to show to these suffering people except running in luxury cars followed by heavy security, luxury homes in Colombo and running around wearing suits made in Singapore and London? At least two of them carry their own fire-arms that they have used in public several times- in the presence of the local Police. One had such a bloated ego he even threatened a judge to revert a decision to suit his own whims and fancies. If we had a decent legal structure in function this thug would be behind bars today.

It seems the Muslims are victims of both sides. First the LTTE drove them away, now they are refugees ignored by the government.

Can some of the aid we were given go to helping these poor people, instead of ending up in big pockets?
