Recent events are much more complex than the “educated” vs “uneducated” distinction being made in Shaveen’s facebook post. The falsity of the claim is evident if we see that some of the people whom we consider “educated” (GL, Rajiva W, Dayan J etc) continuing to support this tyrannical regime. And some (if not most) of the “uneducated” people I have spoken with expressing extreme shock at the political circus that is the impeachment proceedings.
The people who engaged in the vulgar protests against the CJ at Hulftsdorp were neither “educated” nor “uneducated”; They were simply the urban poor, responding, in a perfectly pragmatic manner, to an opportunity to earn some money to meet the hazards of everyday life. They harbour no pretensions of attaining power by doing so, nor in the political ideologies expressed in the placards they were displaying.

There do exists considerable numbers of pharmacies that keep issuing wrong medicine to the patients. There have been a rise of doctors that are reported to have no qualifications to treat the patients properly. All in all, each and every administrative body has been reached to appalling levels – people´s trust is no longer there. One another incident – that a man was tied to post and beaten until he died there – was reported last week from Kelaniya area – even if the man was a robber there should be a rule of law in this country – everyone should NOT be allowed to take the law to their hands. The latter incident can be named as came from an anachial state. Why dont they take proper actions against these kind of incidents, even after they have been reported by media – THIS IS WHAT THE YOUTH OF THE COUNTRY TODAY- repeatedly raise..

3) Safeguard Supreme Court Building and all the important file and information ans extra security for CJ, her family her defense Lawyers etc.
4) Lay out Plan A,B, and C in case Govt. instigate violance to disrupt communities, opposition parties and Judiciary and others.
5) Lay out Plan A, B, and C in case Govt. instigate another 1983 like riots which could lead to mass blood shed and arrests etc.
Therefore work with USA, UK, India and EU and Malaysia if anything like that occures, to come into rescue. I think USA and India has RRF’s (Rapid reactionary Force) and to cordinate with them on rescue mission.
6) To educate Masses, International Community, and the Sri Lankan Diaspora on developments on current situation through Internet,Web, Radio/ TV broadcasts and Print media. (The Video Clips appear in computer news briefs are very helpful)
6) Both Offensive, Defensive and Legal knowledge to be used to win the CJ Trial, where CJ has to prove her innocence ONLY ON CHARGES 1, 4 and 5.
She could have her Trial in front of a bench of senior supreme court Judges while having witnessed by Clergy, a segment of population, Bar Association ,UN, CW, and Diplomatic community and other necessary witnesses, and could be broadcast live on local and international TV/ Radio AND INTERNET.
All these will prove if CJ is guilty or not, and the people and international community will accept the verdict.

This is very correct – lanken society is male dominated one- I wonder how CBK or any female leaders could get on with those uneducated – uncivilized, low mannered parliamentarians. People thosewho elected majority of them should be fools- so what we ve been facing today is the consequences. Lanken society today is underdevelop. The folks move is backward – even if the politicians would drop the palatable for their pitty advantages. If a reliable opinion poll could bring a survey – the results would 100% be comparable to that of Pakistan, Egypt or those of alike similar folks.
Rarity is finding the civizlized, mannered ones among the predominant uncivilized folks. Latter is the challenge before RW in and out of parliament. 2)Over 100 parliament members are cross overs from other parties….bribrd with unlimited amount of money paid by the President.
Most of them are jiust idling and many have not spoken a word for two years.
Highest payroll, perks and benefits including additional security,luxury vehicles, house allowance and free electricity, telephone, water,Health, full pension after 5 years, childrens education etc. all met by people’s money.
3)Speaker of the parliament-Chamal Rajapakse- President’s Brother – Ex Poliofficer turned into Security Officer after retirement ( Academic Qualifications unknown)
4)Govt. PSC member – Wimal Weerawanse ( Grade eight school drop out another cross over from JVP)
5) Govt. PSC HEAD- Anura Priyadarshana Yapa ( Low end Lawyer hearing cases on moonshine-illicit Arrack/ drug peddling etc.)

I am proud of the Hon. CJ for standing by her concious and stand by the Masses regarding Divineguma Bill, still after her husband’s humiliated firing from his job, and still risking her job also for not authorizing this mega 85 billion rupee project going solely under President’s brother’s control.
She could have easily authorized this MEGA BILL AND COULD HAVE ENTITLED FOR A FREE SUPER LUXURY HOUSE IN THE HEART OF COLOMBO, A LUXURY CAR, A FAMILY VACATION TRIP FOR ONE MONTH ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD PLUS ENOUGH MONEY TO RETIRE FOR THE REST OF HER LIFE, AS A GIFT FROM ABOVE FOR HER “GOOD WORK” FOR HIM.
This is the usual practice which I could prove with evidence if anybody wants to know. Giving a gift of a luxury car as a wedding gift is nothing for the President….as he has to act as “MAHARAJANO” and the gift should resemble his status. I hope you agree….
1)The other day Ex. CJ Sarath N. Silva told in Rathu Era, that he PLEADED with President not to go ahead with the “Hedging Deal”…… and it went so far that he…CJ SNS finally GAVE IT UP…….why…why….
Now the amount we have to pay is Closer to ONE BILLION DOLLARS ….AND COUNTING INTEREST EVERY DAY WE DELAY.
2) I have a three bedroom house and the usual fridge,TV and an Iron and few lights. No A/C. My monthly electrictiy bill is Rs. 2,400 average.
Just imagine when the Mattala Air Port is built….just to A/C the whole building 24 hours a day , supply free water for restrooms,pantry and dining rooms, staff quarters, 24 hour lights in the whole building, lights in the roads, runways, Logistics,transport, maintenance, carpark etc…etc……ALL UTILITIES TO BE PROVIDED FREE WITH NO INCOME GENERATING…..How many planes should land just to cover the marginal cost alone….Who bears these cost…..and loss.Even in Katunayake airport the temperature (A/C) is warm in the departure lounge. Just imagine in HAMBANTOTA……
3) Similarly Hambantota Port…..how much the maintenance cost and how much the revenue…..If anybody could answer.
Many more I could write.
But while all these are taking place ….the TV shows how in a village the people have to cross a stream, water down to their shoulders to go to other side every day FOR THE LAST THREE YEARS, even to go to schools, market, hospital or even to bury their dead…..after collapsing a bridge…not repaired for three years.
4)There is a saying that a WISE KING ACCOMODATE AND ACCOMPANIES ALWAYS WITH LEARNERD AND WISE MEN……. AND A FOOLISH KING IS SURROUNDED BY FOOLS AND KILLS THOSE WHO ADVISE HIM.
