BBS Gnanasara Now Begs Minister, Maha Sangha For Law Education

Bodu Bala Sena (BBS) General Secretary Galagoda Aththe Gnanasara, the monk who took the law into his own hands on several occasions earlier is now begging the Buddha Sasana Minister, Maha Sanga and authorities responsible for Buddhism to provide education regarding the existing laws in this country.

Gnanasara made this plea outside the Homagama Magistrates Court yesterday after he was released on bail on two suretiesof Rs. 200,000. The ‘fearless’ monk was previously known to take the country’s sovereign law into his own hands and even urged others on several occasions to do so by encouraging them to come out to the streets and protest.

Prior to being remanded, Gnanasara even boldly stated to his large gathering of followers “This is this just the beginning.”

In August 2014, the Aluthgama and Dharga Town massacre of the Muslims took place immediately after he made a hate speech in those areas.

“Good gnanasara has had a life changing experience,”

Is he a born again Sinhala/Buddhists?

You should start worrying about the inmates who had spent not inconsiderable time sharing the cell and prison with this thug.

      Inmates need therapy.

“Inmates need therapy.” Looks like Ganasara was given Law Therapy. The Buddhist Vinya was insufficient.

Will he pass the Entrance examination?

May be the guy being unable to practise his abusive life further, he should have been shocked by 4 wks arrest. This man in safron wrappings should have gone thorugh all the bad childhood to be that aggressive as no other. Even 4-legged animals in cages sometimes behave better. He has become a laughing stock entire buddhist world. Buddhism teaches almost every one to get on gentle sorta.. but the man to behave the other way around telling something else is paradoxal. I really dont know the stupid folks still greet him .. Are sinhalese people that stupid ?Things have become so indifferent to them… I am ashamed to call me sinhaalya.

Yes the monks that recited pirith – before them, the Ghanasara is tamed as if he is intoxicated … how come ? i really dont know what goes through the head of this man.
But I still believe the boy proxy aggressive people of the nation – should have some time to think as to why the bugger is kept behind the bars.

Is that the way Buddhists recite pirith? It looked like a “Gay Bash” front of the court house with all the rubbing and touching. Do the monks recite on women too? Should have some lucky monks.

Take heart my friend, don’t feel disappointed with your religion being Buddhism, but only let off your steam on this individual who just happens to represent Buddhism. Lord Buddha will never approve of his behavior although our Mahanayakes keep repeatedly blessing him for his courage to speak his mind as he wishes, whilst trampling underfoot all other religions. At this rate, I don’t know when will, or if ever justice will prevail in this country.

Our tongues must be controlled and not let loose to wag in an uncontrollable manner. That is why we have 32 surrounding sets of teeth to guard it from wasted talk, which could invariably hurt the feelings and sentiments of many others. Talk should be measured and carry weight as something useful. As the saying goes, Discretion is the better part of valor.

What Gnanasara is teaching is not Buddhism but thuggerism to say the least.

Question: if these monks are that aggressive, why do they stay as Monks further abusing the DANA given by gentle kind of kind hearted buddhists ?

Is that because the cost of living in the country becoming higher today ?

Or the kind of animals hidding behind the Sanga costumes are that lethargic and abusive of their gentic nature ?

State is supposed to protect Buddha Sasana. Buddha Sasana protects Sanga. Sanga protects anyone believed to be a Sinhala/Buddhist.

Ganasara claimed to be a Sinhala/Buddhist and all the more reason to remain in saffron.

Mere saffron automatically lend protections to the crooks.

He is a psychopath [Edited out], leaving Sri Lankans to live peacefully. He needs to be charged for the Aluthgama massacre. Maithi and Ranil seems to be scared?

Ghanasara should have gone through all illful chilhood allowing him to be that aggressive. Regardless 4 legged or 2 legged, we may have to use controlling medication to tame him in the future. Vets in general and US and EU police use the kind of methods.
These men are the main problem to this country. They are talented manipulating the masses. But like a monitor (Kabara) they seem to have no control over their emotions. Lanka is alarmingly lack of psychologists and sociologists to help the rapidly growing society problems. Latter is the cause to turn the society tothe so deteriorating levels – along the during last few decades. Most of them among youth behave indifferent – they dont case what the elders say – no respect at all. They have no body as models to followup. Meeharak Rajaakshee Regime deliberately supported the social erosion not knowing the values. He himself cut his neck not being able to teach his offsprings how they have to respect law and order – night car races or the kind of issues were made them above the law. A father who completely failed to teach the basics.

Can anybody please teach him self Immolation tactics ?.. that can defnitely eleminate the man from lanken soceity.

Getting back to my past in the country, awaking my nostalgic feelings – B Monks were so gentle and exemplary for the youth. But when looking and the WILD MAN, I feel why the lanken Mahanayakas allow the kind of monks to stay in LANKEN SASANAYA at all ? This is why it is imperative to have code of behaviour for monks. Those who like Ghanasara make every efforts to abuse the lanken sanga community, must not be given any chances basta.

This is high time to introduce and implement codes of ethics not only to Sanaga but also where it deem necessary. Please the rulers.. it is time you to start with that…

WHERE LAW AND ORDER IS IN ACTION; WHERE ALMOST EVERYTHING IS WELL PLANNED AND SYSTEMATIC:.. example grand nation -Germany. Oour people have to learn from the western countries to behave well and work for the future.

Gnanasara the saffron clad thug should demand that MR a senior lawyer and his son Namal another lawyer for legal guidance.

Probably the thug wants to know how to make the right kind of noises before doing the wrong kind of things.

What a circus! The Sangha is to blame for not guiding the monks and for not kicking out the thugs in robes who bring shame to Buddhism in Sri Lanka.

If this humbug had learnt the Buddha Dhamma and is a true believer and practicing the precepts of the same, then it is totally unnecessary to learn the laws pertaining in Sri Lanka leave alone any country. The Buddha dhamma consists discipline, acting with conscience and example, honesty, patience, sympathetic, considerate, thoughtfulness, frugality, simplicity and many more that provides a complete and exemplary life style that pertains to human living and laws of any blooming country. This statement by this humbug clearly indicates that this fellow cloaked himself as a Buddhist clergy not for the purpose of Buddhism but for ulterior purposes. Typically he will be a hero of the majority Sinhalese who will be equally sympathetic to this statement, this is because the Buddhism practiced by the Sinhalese is not any where close to the true preaching’s of Lord Buddha. Damn shame.

As a atheist I do not respect all the religions and their so called agents equally. but I had a respect to SL Buddhist once. Then came the BBS and Ravana gang in this ISIS type Buddhism. Buddha has won the minds by non violence. walking through a path of differnt faiths that time which are mostly based on ancient Hinduism he developed a set of virtuals. As we know our SL people managed to understand that vision for some extent. But later Become the owners of that philosophy wearing THE costume, and mixing the God concepts and sin/forgiveness in Abrahamic religions for user friendliness. I wish this Man after been enlightened in that isolation And respect the Buddha costume for the benefit of it,s followers and enlighten them.

This so call Buddhist monk has disgrace the Buddhism with his low grade activity. He took the law in to his hand, He has blood in his hands. He had Gotabaye and the family behind him, He thought that he will be protected by Ramprakasha family and his followers. Now he does not even have the same corrupted monks protesting his arrest. Disgraceful monk now begging for mercy. He should be de robe and and kick him out of the temple. This monk is a thug and gangster who wears a Saffron rob. He has become fat by eating poor people’s dhane . He should be punished the same way as an ordinary person. Give him stiff jail sentence. Please do not fall for his forgiveness for mercy. Monks like this insult the Buddhism.

Before he starts to study law, he must learn basic human decency, tolerance, and compassion.

Being a Buddhist monk, shouldn’t he be practicing that by now?

He is a despicable thug, and he belongs in prison. Being free outside, is poisoning more minds, and causing more problems for the country.

Is CT out of its mind to state that Gnanasara BOLDLY etc. etc.? Do you know that he was not there when the war was on. He was hiding somewhere that we do not know. He undoubtedly is a coward, hiding behind the robe. We challenge the culprit to disrobe and try and engage in his nefarious activities. The people will deal with him truly and squarely. I am a true born Buddhist. After the dirty tricks of Bodubala Sena, Ravana Balaya etc., I have stopped going to temples. I do not worship anybody in robes. Do not intend offering alms. I have come across at least 10 people who think like me. All are disgusted of the dirty behaviour of these robes villains.

Goodness, Gracious Me, this joker is out. Now we can expect some real fireworks to catch up on lost time spent in jail. Midget Dilantha must be working overtime to come up with a strategy for Gnane’s re-entry with a impact making ‘BANG’. Of course he will not miss to repeat his usual manthare ‘we warned you this will happen, and now it is happening’, or ‘we told you this is coming 2 years ago’ usual crap to justify his ‘I told you so’ prophecies. He must have searched every nook and cranny of the internet with a magnifying glass to rake out some rubbish that a Muslim did, or did not do on his own volition, and blow it completely out of proportion and apportion blame for it on Islam and all Muslims in general. His modus operandi is all too common now to sustain his own survival and the survival of his infamous BBS outfit. Very soon, he and his phony Brigade will get folded up and blown away like the winds of change.

“……..and blow it completely out of proportion and apportion blame for it on ‘Islam and all Muslims in general’.”

Don’t the Mahanayakes realise that this is happening to ‘Buddhism and Buddhists in General’, with Gandassara and His Activities.?

They only have to look at what is happening to Buddhism in Myanmar with Wirathu at the helm!

The Rest of the World is Laughing at what Buddhism has become!

Prior to being remanded, Gnanasara even boldly stated to his large gathering of followers “This is this just the beginning.”

Ven. Galagodaaththe Gnanasara Thera filed a Fundamental Rights petition in the Supreme Court on Feb 25. CEO of the BBS, Dr. Dilanthe Withanage said that the monk was citing injustice meted out to him by his recent arrest
Ha!Ha!Ha! This is the begining of crooks like you will be penalized by justice system which did not happen in the previous regime. You should be life imprisoned for taking the law in to your hand. YOu stupid pig you dont abide by the Law of teh country. You think you are above the law beucause you are a monk. STUPID IDIOT!

No one taught law lesson to pay people. Majority uses common sense and abide by the law. Why should any one teach law to robed people. Are they morons not to have common sense.

Had Buddha been alive, he would have committed suicide seeing what these robed morons are doing the great philosophy he taught.

I believe lay people who worship (put the butts up and heads down in front of robes) these robed morons are responsible for all the mockery by robe wearing morons.

God save Buddhism from these morons

A monk who abides at least by the five precepts let alone 8 or 10, will be within the law of any country. It is simple as that. This is why Buddha said “those who live by the Dhamma will be protected by the Dhamma itself”.

  • 2

All what Bodu Bala Sena (BBS) General Secretary Galagoda Aththe Gnana is saying is “Buddhism and the teaching of Buddha did NOT make me a good person and it made me bad person and now I want to study Law so that I could at least now become a decent person”

Any intelligent person could interpret this is what he actually said in a round about way, which he too was unaware as he was speaking through his subconscious mind. Certainly he insulted Buddhism. The cat is out of the bag. Buddhism did not make him a good and decent person. Now he wants to reform and be one and that could be only be accomplished by learning Law! Certainly he is wrong and you do not need to know the law to be a good and decent person.

This is a shame on the Maha Sangha and he is the type of person who should have been disrobed long ago by the Maha Sangha.

But earlier claiming he is ignorant of the law like many other monks.

Ghanasara s text may contain valid points but the manner he expresses them create more hatreds towards the nature of such monks. It is all because buddhism is non-violence philosophy. Aru mu tho eka meka are the wording he is used to use. I really dont know what kind of education he has been given by his parents and teachers.

Who would like to hear the kind of verbal provocations- he has to learn how to get on with HUMAN BEING. First he should come with civilized behaviours if his to be taken by the listeners. Even 4-legged would behave better than the man does.
