“If I’m formally requested to represent my country once again, I shall be glad to accept it, Dr Dayan Jayatilleka told Colombo Telegraph.
He made above remarks when asked to comment on exclusive Colombo Telegraph story last night. Last night when asked for a comment he said, at that time he was not aware of it.
Sri Lanka’s former Permanent Representative to the United Nations in Geneva Dr Dayan Jayatilleka is to be appointed as the Ambassador to Russia, Colombo Telegraph learns.
President Maithripala Sirisena has made this decision to which Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe has not objected.
Dr Jayatilleka was a strong confidante of former president Mahinda Rajapaksa and has of late backed a probable presidential bid by Gotabaya Rajapaksa.

Fantastic, the guy who was behind Mahinda appears to have “thoppi peralala” has got behind Maithree. What a shame. This guy is like the one that jumps from one branch to another. Once he was supporting a separate state in the North and East, then he became UNP, then SLFP, then JO now SLFP M3. Shocking! Not to forget he gave a contract at the emabssy to LTTE tigers.

DJ must understand Putin is not a communist but has Jewish roots, is a feast keeping member of Russian Orthodox Church with roots in Jerusalem. Both US leader and children are friends. DJ play straight with hidden assets of former leaders or you will be hunted like UW. The game plan is working out for our coalition and coming imaginary dictator, and only Russian workers are communists misled by earlier Jewish.
