A Buddhist Monk from Batticaloa has threatened to kill a grama sevaka for filing several court cases against Sinhalese living in the district.
Using absolute filth in Sinhala, Ampitiye Sumana, a monk from the Batticaloa Mangalarama said, “You are a bloody tiger. My blood boils when I see you. You are a bloody dog. You are a Tamil Grama Sevaka. You have been filing case after case against our Sinhalese. Stop filing cases against the Sinhalese. Go and take action against what is happening in Wilpattu and Siripada. If you even send out one Sinhalese from their lands, I will end the rule by the Thambiyas and the Demalas. I will smash you. This is my last warning to all of you,” the monk said.
The monk said that in the past the tigers had killed the Sinhalese, now they are attacking them. He said that the only reason he was not harming the Grama Sevaka was because of the police uniform. During the incident, which occurred on a main road, several police officers including a senior police officer was also present.
The threats were made against the Grama Sevaka by the monk in front of the police officers. The senior police officer who was present at the time of the incident, tried to calm the monk and take him away to a jeep which was parked on the main road.
While walking away, the monk told the Grama Sevaka, “I will smash him till he dies.”

At the minimum the police officer should have separated both parties. I am pretty sure if the police officer (Scarecrow) asked the GS to leave he would have obliged. If the monk followed him accusing the GS for doing the job he could have taken the monk or (monkey) into custody.
He did not even have real reason to ask the GS to leave he could have taken the monk (monkey) into custody for disturbing the peace which would have prevented the insult suffered by Buddhists all around the country.

Buddhists are very eager and quick to condemn the Muslim as a religion of violence, in the preceding threads on MMDA. They never bothered to self reflect how much violence is hardwired into their leaders. Sinhalese Buddhist extremists under the protection of the occupying Sinhalese armed forces police and racist extremist Buddhist priest like this are going around illegally occupying Tamil lands and in come case Muslim in the north and east. When challenged or confronted by Tamil government officials and authorities, they brazenly use filth abuse on the Tamils and Muslims as they have the protection of the Sinhalese Police and the armed forces, just like this video and others show. If a Christian Hindu or Muslim cleric or for a matter an ordinary Tamil/Muslim behaved in this manner would the police kept quiet and not done anything. The answer is no. The lesson is Sinhalese especially Buddhists now can do anything with impunity to the Tamils from independence and now to the Muslims too and can get away. If this monk and all these Sinhalese extremist miscreants are not charged and severely punished, this video should be sent to the UN.
